At my beginning stages of gambling this was something that I was doing but after a while I found that it was a trigger for me to start chasing my losses.. whenever I go through my history of lost bets I become emotional and start thinking of ways that I can recover those losses.. tracking your what's already lost is a waste of time, it's better to just move on from the past and become more disciplined and smart

I don't track my losses because it wouldn't bring back the lost funds. However, I have a gambling budget which use in gambling and I refill it every week if I have exhausted it. Whatever funds I assign to gambling is lost to me before I start gambling because I have already accepted losing it all.

Tracking on losses does not change anything, it can't reverse the lost and it also does not prevent us from achieving more better, so the question we should ask on each other is if there is a need for us to place a track on our losses or not, if we do track on such as we gamble, does it prevent us from having more in the future.

Once we accept what gambling is, then we are not going to overboard ourself on what is not necessary to be considered in gambling, when we should be making research and finding more information regarding a particular game in consideration, learning about new skills and approach to use in gambling, should we also create time on tracking the loss?.

Well, the best way to track you success or loss in the long run is always cumulatively. Meaning, you have to combine all your losses and all your wins by searching in the casino history to know if you are on profit or loss.

A big win can be lesser when it is compared to the amount we have loss, this we can see we are on massive loss after we check. Basically I am that type of gambling, after every game day I check my history.

I never do it, although sometimes tracking losses can also make us think to evaluate the way we gamble, but I'm just afraid knowing the amount of loss is bigger might make me disappointed.

I had a tracker for many years and mostly for all of my bets. The target was optimizing the result and trying to perform better. Identify also markets where I was doing worst or good was also a good point.
I would suggest this only if you are trying to achieve a profit.

I track my recent losses since I always compared my current win and recent when gambling as my own way to satisfaction since ending with profit after a loss is a satisfying feeling for me.

I only consider my recent losses for a reason that I will never delete or recover that losses with my current profit.

It’s useless to track your losses when you can no longer recover the funds anymore. So what I usually do, I’ll just gamble on an amount that I’m comfortable of losing and then no question at all if I end up losing them all.  That help me to manage my losses, and prevent myself from losing more if I get carried away with my gambling urge.

However, it’s actually a good practice to keep track of your losses but I don’t think it will be a continuous practice since most of the experienced gamblers just learn to accept their losses easily without questions at all.

Yes it is true in most cases but not true always. Because there could be situation where a person could win $5k once  in one of his small betting and could cover up all his expenses for the time being on gambling. Let's say a person who stake little by little for 5 year with. Track record of losing $2k may one day win 5k and all his calculated small Lost bet will not be equal to his one moment win. By then it becomes profitable by $3 instead of losing.

For me I don't track my gambling record but there could be Guya who does that . Tracking gambling record can leed to given up on gambling too quickly because youigh be surprised that all your highest win has not even recoup your loses.

If you gamble for profit then it is really necessary to track your losses.  Not only professional gamblers do it, even a casual gambler do it.

As for me, I only track my losses when I'm sports-betting. When I bet on many games and loss some of it, I track how much I lose then compare it to my total winnings. If I'm testing a strategy to some live-games like bacarrat or blackjack , I also do it to see if what I thought could be profitable. But if I will play luck-based games like dice or slots, I don't really track my losses. It's just either it eats up my capital or I win some amounts by luck.

It's very rare that I check the amount of my losses beforehand. Because for me, it's not necessary as a casual gambler who comes with small amounts.

I don't track it anymore, but I do have a number on my mind. I just don't know the exact amount that I have lost.

Actually, I did try to track my wins and losses in the past, but it felt like a burden to me, and I am also a forgetful type of person. Sometimes I forget to list the result of my bet for a day, and the next day I will forget about it.
When it comes to losses in slot games, I think I am $200+ down right now and playing slowly because I feel like I am not getting the luck that I need. In sports betting, I think I am still in profit after some consecutive wins in the past.
