So, this makes me wanna ask, do you feel you joined the forum at the early stage (when the rules where friendly), right time or somehow late hours (as at now).

Na who say the rules before or early stage dey friendly pass as at now? I don't agree. The only thing wey I think say op dey think say wey dey tighter now or unfriendly na to rank up. Na since wey them introduce merit make some people believe say rules dey tighter now because users no fit just dey rank up with activities like before without getting required merits too. If na before, wetin you need na just to get accumulated posts wey go turn into activities after 2 weeks and you rank up if the activities reach required number. But now you need both required activities and required merits to rank up.

Apart from merit system which I think is part of what you are thinking as unfriendly, this present forum is easier oo. I believe with the time you registered, you should know about the user known as Lauda. If you know of that user (Lauda) then you would conclude now is easier than before.

Meanwhile, I think this thread does not belong here. I think off topic.

Over the years of the existence of this forum, lots of things has changed and the forum has also become populated and rules became tighter, of which I am almost feeling like a new comer.

So, this makes me wanna ask, do you feel you joined the forum at the early stage (when the rules where friendly), right time or somehow late hours (as at now).

You are feeling that way because you are not on campaign to keep you busy in the forum. Frankly speaking, Nigerians see the forum as a major source of income and that if you are not in an active campaign, you feel tired and reluctant to participate in the forum instead of getting more information. Ok, lets take an example from franky1 on the forum who doesnt get involved in campaign before, this user is actively busy on the forum all the times and never get tired because he is here to give and learn lessons.

Create a new mindset that, no matter the rules, you are here for information, not even for the rank or campaign, then here wont be boring and tiring to you, you can spend the whole day and weeks here having fun and learning vigorously.

I am a new member of this forum, I joined around May this years and I must say the rules really choke,  it not even all that easy to rank up, infact I almost got scared me off, but I later came to the understanding that in a place where there are not rules, there will definitely be chaos.

About a month plus, and it has been very interesting. I’ve learnt a lot and still learning, with the little i know i still try to teach others too. This forum has been really helpful truth be told, you just have to be consistent.

It has really broadened my knowledge on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and the interactions has been quite good and clear, so far i can say am happy here

I just checked now, and I notice say na since 2022 I join the forum, but I no sabi Wetin u mean by when the rules were friendly. Currently difference no Dey between the rules wey dey before now, no Dey sure say anything change or maybe na me no notice am. I go like know the difference wey Dey, d only thing wey I know be say e no easy to get merit now like before wey I join.

To me l don't think that the rules are to harsh as the case may be...all the rules are for our own benefits and guidance...

This forum would have been highjacked by the fraud stars if all these rules were not put in place.
Any organization without strong rules and principles,finds it very difficult to stand.

Apart from the restrictions of merits I don't think there is anything very that serious in this community as I believe that it was set to eliminate and reduce the rate at which post keep flooding here on the forum, when you understand the reason why such rules is set then you will ever enjoy being here as it filters out unserious element from the forum who are that doing repetitive post or contents on the forum.

Chai, dat name terrorise dis forum nor be small oh. Account wey we nor even sabi whether na man or woman e bi. Dem nickname am, the cat those days. At some point those Ogas wey dey drag am com dey even suggest sey na different people dey run d account because of wetin dem perceive as changes in writing styles at different times. Anyway, e good as dat account self destroyed itself. Maybe na wetin make relative peace even dey here now sef. Before, no week wey drama nor dey dey here.

I believe sey wetin you mean by rules being friendly be sey members nor too dey get punished for things wey dem bi dey do wey nor too jell or make sense, abi? By my own assessment, now na im even dey friendly pass b4 sef. If na b4 veteran members nor dey chill for young accounts oh for discussions and if you do like sey you too sabi, dem go begin drag u sey you nor sabi wetin u dey yarn and sey you dey mislead d community wit nonsense yarn. Some of dem fit even give u neutral tag for dat kain thing.

Members then wey dem blood dey hot don cool down now. If na b4, na one week one trouble. You go fear as members dey do hot exchange of words, accusations and allegations. Now nor be like dat.

I no even know wetin make them cool down sef abi them do revival for our back lol. Sometimes I dey miss the drama but sha e good say the forum don dey more friendly to newbies than before. With all the friendliness e come belike say merits come hard pass before.

Yes i just joined the forum, just about going to two months now, and I have been trying my best to meet up with the forum rules and as well trying to understand about Bitcoin,but I am still finding it difficult despite being active always, and that makes me to understand that it's not something one can rush, it's all about gradual process, and it's not about how long you have been here rather it's all about i made it at last and that is the good news..

From your profile I have seen you have been in the forum for a long time now and that's too say you're very experienced here. Well for me I joined few months ago still a newbie though and also working  and putting possible efforts to get myself acquainted to this forum, it's rules and Bitcoin as a whole, though I still have some challenges but I hope to go over it with time.
The platform is quite an interesting and educative one hope to learn more from it.
