You're right one good way to avoid the fear of Volatility when it comes to investments in crypto currency especially Bitcoin is having a long term investment plan because that is the best as you will be more relaxed and will not be thinking of volatility the minimum investment plan that I will advise someone to do that is going into Bitcoin will be three Years and above because that is a long time for the price to be stable and move up to a level that you expects if it

Sometimes, if you sit and observe the crypto market from different angles, you will agree with me that there isn't define rule on how to make money from crypto because you know why? You can choose to do what you said above but with wrong coins, you can still attract loss in everything you. Recall, crypto works with trend, sometimes back in 2015 Bitcoin fork were everywhere and people see them competing against each other, it was the biggest things that time but today make them 10 years, if you have any of them in your wallet you will only be seeing negative PNL.

Most altcoins held by people here were arguably not bought but acquired from airdrops and other means. Myself holds some shitcoins too in my wallets, and I am hopeful they amount to something good in this year altcoin season so I can use sell them off and use the funds for important things, I wouldn't feel too disappointed if they don't perform well finally because very little financial involvement was evident in my acquisition of those shitcoins (most of them it was only coins needed to pay gas fee), so it is easy to say they are free money since I did not and would not literally use tangible sums to acquire them.
