There is a risk when we install extensions in our web browsers... i know it was made to collect the bets information, but we are not sure if it collects other kind of data, or if it can do some other stuff like make withdrawals or tip users on the casino. Even it could change the deposit address in the casino.

Is there a chance that you make from your extension an opensource project? That way we could take a look at the code and verify if it doesn't have any kind of malware on it.

By installing into our device they must ask and want to access to their app, and whatever that will make me to grant access to such app to help load my bet history is something I wouldn't want to permits.
I don't know how the backend is controlled if the dev who is in charge wouldn't think and planning to launch such evil one day then it could have been nice using that exchange but, they have already soiled their trust especially, now that people are seeing complaining they wouldn't mind running away from the exchange.

Our extension also requests access to all sites. This is necessary to automatically maintain mirrors of betting sites—the user doesn’t need to reinstall the extension every time the bookmaker’s site URL changes.
We plan to open-source the code, but we cannot provide exact timing yet. At the same time, it’s important to understand that even with open source, the extension itself will not be completely autonomous—it obtains parsing rules from our server, and these rules can be updated. Therefore, security depends not only on the extension code but also on the server side.

Within the team, we conduct code audits of all components—the extension itself, the API, and the parsers. We value our reputation and will not allow malicious functionality into the project.

If you still have doubts, here are two simple ways to reduce risks when using it:

• Create a separate browser profile or use a different browser exclusively for working with betting sites and the extension.
• Enable the extension only when you need to load betting history, and keep it disabled at all other times.

We strive to monitor feedback, and so far we haven’t seen any confirmed complaints—especially regarding security or malicious behavior of the extension. Could you please clarify where this information comes from? If you have specific examples or links, please share them and we will certainly investigate. Without facts, such claims seem speculative and may mislead others.

If those wallet extensions on chrome are really risky, then the wallets are really at risk because the necessary requirements that are required by things like this are like that,
especially if they are not wallets.

Actually, this is the first time I've read something like this about downloading extensions that are not wallets because most of the time I know that only various networks and wallets are installed in extensions, not the ones related to gambling. Sorry op, but I won't do that.

The tool may as well be able to copy our passwords, look through our system storage and possibly be able to detect private key and seed phrases stored in the system or might even be able to send out coins from our wallet..

It's absolutely needful we ensure the safety of this tool before deciding whether or not we are using it, so if the op will allow the code of the tool to be open source, would be really nice.

That's right, the only way to do what does that addon really do is by installing it a use another addon to see the source code, and the way to do this without risk is by trying it on a virtual machine. Sadly i don’t have time to rey it this way, but it will be the right way to be sure about the seccurity on this addon.

And even if the addon doesn’t have malware on it, they could include it in an update.

Im always that skeptical when it comes on installing up something into my browser specially that majority of wallet extensions are being thats stored up too and we do know about security risks when it comes on installing up these things. So we cant be able to blame out people here or the community would be that skeptical on installing something into their pc/browsers specially if it wasnt that checked or verified
whether there might be some malware or some sort. We've seen some situations in the past and its better to be safe than sorry.

What's the goal of your apps? Is it really important to track betting history using third-party apps? It's pretty much risky installing such apps where there is a possible hack or something harmful. How can we trust your apps, actually? Even if you don't need a user password, somehow you are tracking gamblers' activities. Most probably through API, so we have to trust you. This is highly risky for gamblers to trust you.

If you are serious and want to help gamblers to track their activities, then make open software. Publish the codes and let them use it. Otherwise at least I won't use such apps from my end.

So there are people that take gambling and betting so much serious to the point that they want to know their ROI. Since I have been betting, I have many profits and losses but I have not thought of something like this before, although on many gambling sites, you can see your ROI directly and even your betting records for specific period of time.

It's not new, there are others on the market, but it's a very interesting type of application. I want to know which casinos are supported?

Regarding the issue of browser extension security, I agree with what was said about risks. I believe that if casinos allowed the export of the entire betting history (the ones I use only allow viewing, I think I should ask them directly), like banks do with statements, and we imported the file directly into the application, it would be much better. Some users would feel safer and more comfortable with this.

I still think doing these carries a huge risk. For example, there might be an exploit where an extension accesses a profile browsing data history in the background, or they do that whenever they get activated, so there's no need to monitor everything. It doesn't help that news about an exploit or a new zero-day bug that allows someone to abuse a browser function keeps being reported. I believe going open source or at least making a basic version that everyone can verify is the right move.

Just checked your site out and I must admit that I have similar concerns as the others. Why would I want to install such random extensions when I could just use popular sites that do the same job without installing any extensions?

And that third party app authority can sell our data to various black markets through which we can lose our assets. So I am not interested in using any such third party apps. Every casino site provides the facility to download the user's deposit and withdrawal history from there we can easily track our activity and since it is in an excel sheet, it is very easy to calculate. So why should we use a third party application to track our betting amount. We have to track how much we have lost. That can be done manually very easily, I am satisfied with that.

This is definitely true and just on what i have said above that it wouldnt be that so easy to make the public or community that easily be able to install plugin or extension just because on having some tracks with your history on which we do all know that majority of sites now do have their own trackers or stats on which you can be able to check on with. This is why we wont be surprised that this one would be that simply ignored or be forgotten despite of such functionality not unless if there would be some legit feedbacks from someone into this community in regarding for this one to be totally safe to be used upon.

Not that much for casual bettors but it’s valuable for those bettors that placing huge volume of bets to track their records for PnL purposes.

I believe most of the bookies doesn’t offer summaries on your betting history since they just list your previous bets while some delete bet on history when it was hit the specific time frame.

It’s totally useless on user like me that only place 1 to 5 times per week because I can track it on my mind alone.

I think that most people are concerned about downloading something on to their personal device. Perhaps you can make this open source, so people can see how it works and if everything is safe to download?

Or reinvent the tool so that it does not require downloading.

Thing is, we don't know if that's all what it does. It might be wallet drainer, change copy paste addresses, getting sensitive data from other sites as well or something like that. It might do that while acting as an actual bet history tracker.

While i could see benefits in this app, i would recommend people waiting for that open source and frankly it seems suspicious that it isn't out immediately, if it's planned to be released.
