We have always a lot to consider when it comes to cryptocurrencies, and sometimes you don't even know where to start to give newbies important advice. So: what is your best advice for cryptocurrencies?

I believe say this life no too hard if as an investor or individual you can be doing the right thing at the right time, that's why if I wan advice anybody about investment in cryptocurrencies generally, wetin I go tell the said person is to think security first before investing, how will you protects your asset, where it will be stored etc because nothing bad pass say the small coin you don try gather some where, person go just steal am, so a new investor in cryptocurrencies must think security first before anything else.

Yes, that is exactly what you mean. There are many different tokens and coins in cryptocurrency. If you or any of us invest in shitcoin without knowing it, we will face losses. On the other hand, if you invest in Bitcoin in the long term, you will definitely benefit.

But if you want to be a trader, then I have no words to tell you about investing. I hope you can make the right decision with the right information about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Thanks for being so clear about your experience. Yes, I made a mistake here, I thought you were new. But when you made your post, anyone would have thought you were a new member. Because you didn't mention your experience then. I hope you understand what I mean.

I try to be very careful about security, because I have been cheated by scammers several times before. I have been a victim of hackers in various ways. So I know very well how important security is in the digital world.

I have repeatedly requested everyone to be careful about security and will continue to do so in the future.

My best piece to anybody that wants to invest in crypto is,
First understand that it is not a get rich scheme as some individuals might have projected it over time which means you should do a proper research on the project you are about to invest in, let the decision be yours after the research and make sure the money you have invested wouldn't be the reason you end up in the hospital if things doesn't go your way (invest only what you can afford to lose).

Most times members of this forum should be rated based on the content they present because most of the time we tend to misunderstood the rank to judge newbies whereas some newbies to Bitcointalk are already pro in Bitcoin knowledge most of them being successful traders who have exhibit deep understanding of Bitcoin and the ecosystem of the entire cryptocurrency space and for such could give out such related advice that not even a legendary Bitcointalk members can offers.

As a newbie what I personally want to care about is how to protect my newly bought bitcoin in my wallet. Security of my bitcoin should be my first priority because if I have to lose them to scammers or due to my ignorance I will be very discouraged to buy more as a starter. With this reasoning as a newbie I am convinced that every newbie should be made to know about security of their bitcoin wallet, how to secure it after purchasing their bitcoin . Because that's another responsibility after owning some cryptocurrency.

True matas, the koko be say, make sure say you dey in control of your security, and also learn as e dey go, because information is power, and the power of information is in the person that carry it not the position or status of the carrier, so make we no dey think say person new for forum no new for cryptocurrency some of us don tey for this game, as far back as 2015 na him we enter forex too before cryptocurrency and now, we no fit stop learning thos forum na just discussion space and anyone fit run the information were go legit take help another person.

Diversification,Research,Security,  speaking of diversity this is mostly important to an newbies investor spreading his/her  investment across different assets to minimize risk.

You right it's important that we always diversify our investment by spreading it throughout different assets that can be of high market value which can bring you return this is important because it's not always advisable for anyone to dismissal all his investments in one place because when there is an emergency it may affect the investor in a great way

From my personal experience, I say never do anything you have no knowledge about, first know and learn about it and then start. Never invest your hard-earned money or assets that you will be in danger of losing in crypto. Of course, use a trust wallet or hardware wallet to store your crypto and passwords or seeds properly. Be patient because the chances of profiting in the long run are high. It is best to buy and hold Bitcoin for the long term for the future according to DCA. These small investments will turn into very big assets after a while.

I would be bold to say, you can lecture me!

It doesn’t mean I don’t know a thing or two about Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies but, you might have an interesting way to put it which might be entirely new to me or even better than the way I have always known it or would put it. At least, what I feel I know, I would share and if it results to what I need to pose some contradicting arguments on, I would as well and not because I want to argue and be difficult but, because I want to learn from it.

Even newbies have got something to teach you know. The ignorance of those who are learning can bring the spark that question which would lead to intelligent discussions and discoveries.

I couldn't imagine how daft some people are "crying foul" online with exchanges seizing their $300k, $500k, $1m, and even more. What were they thinking to have entrusted such huge amounts to a custodial arrangement?

I guess we are learning, and we should continue to learn this way, which makes me add the "DYOR" (Do Your Own Research) advice.

My best advice to newbies is to avoid shitcoins, do your research always, be informed, take Bitcoin serious and The DCA, if you want to be in the crypto currency space I suggest you do your findings properly before you start because this space isn't for the fainthearted, always double up your security game as there are scammers everywhere so you have to be on the look out. Always double check everything and be smart and vigilant.

I have series  of advice i give to newbies but my best advice is, now is the best time to get into the market yesterday was the overall best time and today is the best time to start accumulating those sats.

Because buying opportunities and time waits for no man, it's either you take advantage of it or loose the opportunity

My best advice would be understanding exactly you want with Bitcoin. Meaning, we should understand if we want to be a trader, investor or a project developer and yeah of course we can be both but some people make mistake in trading and then calling it investment, while some invest and later on play around with it like they are trading. While your advice counts and is seen as important, my best advice would rather be: make sure to do your own findings (research) before investing.

Please don't depend on hype or what someone else say online, know the project, understand it, the risks and how the system functions, this will help you to make wiser, more reliable decisions and overcome being victims to scams or unproductive or unprofitable investments
Having a great knowledge of the storage or rather savings pattern could aso be of help too.
