Why don't the rich people get addicted easily?

Maybe they will try playing just out of curiosity, but if it does not work out, they will quickly give it up. Rich people think in terms of money and are very good at assessing risks. That is why such a risky and complicated way as gambling is something they will most likely just exclude from their lives.

Yes, a rich person doesn't fall into temptations like those, the casino is a place where we can be people who lose money, even so we do it because first we like it and second because we don't rule out having some luck and multiplying what we have, but the reality is harsh and it's that you don't win all the time, you lose a lot and based on that is why the rich don't fall into those things, they are more concerned with making their money continue to grow.

You are very correct. The difference is that wealthy people don't gamble for financial needs, while the poor gamble with high expectations of making a profit. Looking at gambling, the psychological aspect of it is what leads gamblers to become addicted. It is very hard for those who gamble for entertainment to become addicted to gambling; that is why the rich don't easily get addicted. You've got ask rich gamblers if they're addicted easily. Gambling's the same for rich & poor ppl so it shouldn't make poor ppl more addicted to gambling. Rich ppl gamble more money & poor ppl gamble less money so why do you say poor ppl get addicted easily ?

This is an open question, maybe I could be wrong in the eye of some of you but am asking this question because a  large number of addicted gamblers are not even up to a middle class standard but they are addicted. Can someone tell me why it's like that or is it totally a different case in your society, maybe an opposite of what I asking is happening in your own society. Poor people gets more addicted, following the middle class before it gets to the rich. Since it's like that, I think it's just the poor people that are gambling the most in the world, if am not correct, I stand to be corrected.

The rich get addicted to gambling just like the poor and middle class, the only difference is that the rich already have system in place that generate money for them such that even if they lose money in gambling, it will not show in their lifestyle. In other words, they are gambling with what they can afford to lose unlike the poor and middle class that gamble with their life savings. Gambling addiction is never dependent on income level but can happen to all.

Rich people get addicted to gambling but the percentage of rich people that are gambling addicts are quite lower than those that are poor. Rich people tend to be more busy so they don't really have enough time to sit around gambling but at the same time it's possible for a rich man to lose millions within a few minutes. There are several very wealthy people in my circle, and I can say with great confidence that none of them gamble. At least, if they do, they keep it so well hidden that no one knows about it. I believe the main reason people start gambling is the desire to make extra money, but wealthy people simply don’t have that need. Firstly, they already have businesses that bring them income, and in most cases, it’s not just one business. They usually have several sources of income, which means they’re unlikely to seek out additional, especially risky, opportunities like gambling.

I’m saying this because if wealthy people were to get involved in gambling, there probably wouldn’t be much difference between the rich and the poor when it comes to gambling, except that the rich might place bigger bets. And in many cases, wealthy people simply don’t have time for this kind of thing.

When we have a lot of overthinking, we think a lot about gambling and deposit money there and keep losing it. But rich people are not stupid, they always spend their valuable time on a potential issue and they always have business issues in their mind. Sometimes they play gambling to relieve their mental and physical fatigue and have entertainment. And at this time if they lose their gambling money, they immediately say about those things and think that they spent money on entertainment. Again, if they can make a profit, they can use it for their other work. The rich do not think about gambling for a long time and they are never serious about gambling because they are very busy with their various business purposes. And that is why the rich are not seen to be addicted to gambling but the poor consider gambling as a means of income and spend a lot of time there due to which they are affected in all aspects.

You wouldn't be needing to be smart but rather you should be having that kind of sensibility and awareness about into the things on which are currently happening on. You wont be putting up yourself into any issues if you are just that making use of your own common sense specially into the activity that you've been dealing into. On the moment that you had decided to take up some gambling then it would be just that impossible that you cant be able to determine on whats risky and whats not. If you're working in jobs you'll get paid each month or week it's guaranteed your boss's going to pay. Betting games can't be considered a source of income because payments aren't guaranteed. I'm not a gambler so can't understand why ppl work difficult hours for money but do gambling. There's a risk of addiction so ppl shouldn't gamble.

Although the percentage of gambling addiction is lower than that of lower middle-class people, rich people are more able to take advantage of the situation when they get new friends in the casino. If they are interested in gambling, it can be profitable; they will not think about becoming an active player, but will be more directed to being able to work together with the casino owner or plan something to be able to invest in it.

I don't think you should downplay gambling addiction. It can happen to anyone: poor, rich, white, black, asian or western. It is inherently a flaw of the human condition and it develops into a full blown disease. Addiction is a serious dysfunction of your brain's neurochemicals and it should never be underestimated. It can ruin anyone's life.

A serious attitude towards it is as smart as a serious attitude towards alcohol.

I don't know for sure, but is there a journal on this issue? What I understand is that rich people tend to have a lot of money so they are free and tend to have no limits. In fact, I understand that many rich people become poor because of gambling addiction or other vices. It is not always the rich, in my area there are also many people who are addicted to online gambling, they are in well-off families until they become poor because their money assets, land, houses are sold to pay off debts. But indeed, most of these perpetrators are the children of the rich. IMO

In as much as I agree with this point let's remember something, no one has an inexhaustible bankroll, no matter how rich you think you might be you must still have a limit, no one has an infinite bankroll. Only the rich who are desperate and no longer have the spirit to live happily really spend their money on gambling. What are they looking for from gambling if not about entertainment, but if they want to make money then they prefer to build a casino either physical or online. Rich people are not really stupid even though some of them may go bankrupt because of a very fatal mistake. Most of them are people who always want to increase their wealth instead of spending it on unimportant things and I thing the gambling industry may be very interesting for them to invest in.

It is easy for rich people to build their wealth from gambling if they are the owners of a casino. In my country, gambling is illegal, but some rich people build their wealth more and more from gambling. Aside from getting addicted easily, rich people are likely to win often compared to an average gambler. Rich people are not addicted to gambling because they do not consider gambling as a means of earning money. They definitely always consider gambling as entertainment, because they know the value of money. Just because someone has money does not mean that they will waste a lot of money addicted to gambling. Normal gamblers should follow rich people in how they control themselves and manage their time with everything, because they also give limited time to gambling. Having control over yourself works in everything, this helps to avoid making bad decisions.
