It appears that the rich arab billionaire grandmaster Turki has delivered us the superfight that everyone wants to witness! I am very much thankful for this.

The place for the fight has not yet been announced, however, I speculate that this will be in the Madison Square Garden. This will also compete on the same day as uncle Dana's UFC Noche hhehehehe. Is the grandmaster Turki and uncle Dana not anymore friends?



The highly anticipated fight between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Terence Crawford has a new date — one that abruptly raises questions about the relationships between the promotional entities involved.

Alvarez's undisputed super middleweight title defense against Crawford will now take place on Saturday, Sept. 13, rather than the Friday, Sept. 12 date that was announced in the aftermath of Alvarez's win over William Scull to unify the 168-pound belts earlier this month.

Ring Magazine, which is owned by Turki Alalshikh, broke the news Tuesday afternoon.

I still think that Dana and his Excellency are friends, so I doubt that they will schedule a fight on the same night.

But since this is a Mexican holiday if I'm not mistaken, I doubt that this fight is going to be moved as we all know that Canelo is a national hero and a pride of the Mexican people. The good thing though is that HE Turki has delivered what he has promised us before.

And Crawford has been like building his body to mature to 168 lbs but I think it's going to be very easy for him as he is as tall as Canelo but obviously the body structure is different. I haven't check the sports bookies, but I see here that Canelo will still be the favorite.

Yes, this has been hype at the start of the year, specially when Canelo win in his last fight. I do agree, it there will be a poll so that we will have the sentiments of the boxing fans here. For sure many of us here would go and vote. And we will see if the educated boxing fans in our community will have the same as what other sport bookies will have as far the odds.

Canelo though has been knockout or even knockdown before if I'm not mistaken. He has a granite chin that not even GGG has crack before or any other big punchers that he has face in his career. So very hard to see Canelo being knockout by Crawford. We've seen Crawford didn't have the same performance when he as at 147 lbs at 154 lbs. And so with that, I don't think that he can carry his power to a bigger weight class and this is Canelo's best weight.

Yes he's been down before but he has a great chin and I think Crawford would struggle a little bit but we can't really deny that Canelo has a great footwork and strong punches too, both have have good counters so let's just see who will standout.

Canelo Alvarez is a good fighter and his weight is not to be compared to Crawford (168 Ibs). This might actually be the first time Crawford will  fight at Canelo’s usual weight. However, Crawford is extremely smart and durable. If anyone can avoid getting KO'd, it’s him. It’s hard to call, but a Canelo KO would be surprising but not impossible. I'll basically keep my prediction on Crawford to keep his unbeaten streak but not by KO.

I wouldn't bet on Canelo ever getting KO'd out after he survived Dmitry Bivol. This guy is a massive 6ft, 72" reach very skilled and strong fighter and after taking what was honestly a bit of a beating he did not go down against a clearly bigger opponent. Sure, Crawford is top in the world when it comes to skill, and sometimes skills pays the bills, but I think unless he lands a massive shot on the liver or temple, one of those that get you out balance, then he will not be able to take Canelo down most likely. I think Crawford wins by UD.

This is exactly the kind of scenario I’m expecting. Canelo’s a lot smarter now, he takes his time, picks his shots, and tries to win on points.

But we shouldn’t underestimate Crawford either, he’s a champion for a reason.
It’s tough to predict who’ll win. Crawford definitely has the edge in speed, but the big question is: can he handle Canelo’s power at this weight class?

I have created the poll! I certainly very much wish your prediction will be real, however, after witnessing the scammer Tank Davis vs. Lamont Roach, I speculate that this might also end on a draw heheheh. This outcome will also be what everyone will certainly like because it will cause the fans to demand for a rematch and this will certainly be immediately supported by the promoters. I reckon uncle Dana will certainly want to be involved on the rematch after missing being a promoter for this fight.

In any case, on who might have a higher chance of having the victory, this will be on Canelo. But we should not underestimate Bud Crawford. He is undefeated and his fat coach is one of the best boxing coaches.

I think Crawford and Canelo have a similar build. Crawford has the same height as Mayweather, but I think he is naturally heavier, he has thicker forearms and shoulders, he is not a very ectomorph build like Mayweather, where even when he tried to put on weight, he wouldn't look big. Crawford has a wider frame, I don't think he will suffer at 168lbs. While it may favor Canelo, I don't think it would be as extreme as Mayweather going to 168lbs. Im still undecided on this fight, both could win so may not gamble here.

I am actually in favor of Canelo in this fight.

Given that Crawford has an undefeated record in his matches, I still think that Canelo would be able to secure the win given his experiences with all the previous fights he gained. I remember his match against Mayweather, that definitely taught him all his weaknesses and he was able to transform it as his strengths. During his fight also with GGG, I think we can all agree that it was an even match all-throughout.

I may be biased but I do think that Canelo would win in a split-decision scoring on the judges. It would definitely be close but I do not think that Crawford would be able to KO him (assuming that Crawford wins this).

Good opiniom but for me, I know weight class affects precision, but surely Crawford considered that. He doesnt have a loss yet and this could be his first time but ofcourse with that record and urge to fight on this means his ready to tarnish his record but the opposite might just happened as well.

Canelo's experience with this weight class could give him tangible advantage, but Crawfords unbeatable records might be up for some Manny Pacman style of winning different division. He just need to get ahead of this new weight class and adjust adequately and theres no neef to worry.

Where did you read this information? Is there a news article from this or is this only a speculation of yours because you only hate uncle Dana hehehehe.

In any case, I reckon that the removal of uncle Dana might be because Canelo who is a Mexican requested that this superfight to be on Mexican independence day which will compete against UFC Noche which will also be on Mexican independence day. If your information is only invented in your brain, this is headshaking because who can refuse Canelo's request and why would uncle Dana promote boxing to compete against his own UFC card?

It’s really tough to predict who’ll win since both are elite fighters and still in their prime.

Canelo may no longer be undefeated, but he’s fighting at his most comfortable weight class. Meanwhile, Bud is moving up, and that can be tricky. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell if a fighter can carry over the same speed and power at a higher weight. So this is a real test for Bud, while with Canelo, we can expect the same dominant version unless Bud pulls off something unexpected.

If Canelo wins, it probably won’t be by knockout. He hasn’t had a KO win since 2022. On the other hand, if Crawford wins, I think it’ll be in dominant fashion, possibly stopping Canelo. Canelo still has power, no doubt, but we’re not sure if that will really show against someone as dominant as Crawford at this level. whatever, this fight is called a super fight and its hard to predict.
