Manchester City's performance was very disappointing. It was City's home match. We saw the dominance of Manchester city players throughout the match. But Manchester city lost the match 2-0. Manchester City's defense and attack were both weak  in this match.

In this match, leverkusen managed to take only 4 shots. They scored two goals with only 4 shots. This was because Manchester City's defenders were careless. On the other hand , Manchester city players  took a total of 18 shots, only 8 shots were on target. Even then, they could not break Leverkusen's defense. Anyway , this was City's first defeat on the Champions league platform.

Galatasaray had me in shock, losing to usg wasn't really what I expected to happen but that's football for you, any team can mess at anytime. Liverpool on the otherhand might not win today because they are currently in a poor form. Did Manchester City actually lose. I didn't even remember to check the score of Manchester City, did Chelsea Barcelona match actually dominated yesterday that I didn't care to know about Manchester City. Do you mean that Manchester City lost against Bayern Leverkusen? If this is true that means I was right to say that Guardiola and his boys are not contenders of the English Premier League.  They lost in the English Premier League over the weekend and some of us were of the opinion that because of the Champions League is the reason they lost now that the lost again in the Champions League what could actually be the reason?

This is actually not time again for Manchester city and if I decide to believe Liverpool over Manchester city in the champions league, no one should blame me for that.

Dortmund not having to worry about Villarreal was really obvious even in the games as they were playing, Villarreal has been struggling in the champions league and even in their domestic league so I did not expect much from them, it would even be bad on Dortmund if they did not win this because it was supposed to be their chances to increase increase their point and chances to move to the next round of the league.

Dortmund did not face any major obstacles to win this  match. It was an easy match for dortmund. In addition , Dortmund's performance  on the champions league platform was also quite strong. Dortmund's players were able to continue this  consistency.

Dortmund's overall  gameplay in this match was very good. Each of their  attacks was well-planned. Dortmund's players were able  to make  11 shots in this match. I don't understand how Pep didn't immediately bring on Haaland, Phil Poden, and Jeremy Doku from the start, and even Bernardo Silva was only a bench warmer. Pep's tactical flaw cost his team the defeat against Leverkusen. Pep needs to evaluate himself to prevent his team from struggling in the early stages, as they did last season.

Despite dominating the entire match, Manchester city failed to score a  single goal. This was Manchester city's home match. It was unexpected that Manchester City players would perform so badly  at the Etihad. Manchester City players were able to create many attacking opportunities. But they could not score a single goal.

Manchester City played in a completely attacking strategy. And because of this, their defense was vulnerable. Leverkusen players used this opportunity very well. And were able to score 2 goals. Guardiola needs to be more aware in choosing the match strategy.

someone made this same statement yesterday when Chelsea was going up against barca and in his word he said, "if you so believe that Chelsea was going to stand a chance against Barca, then include them in your slip. such kind of statement seems meaningful considering the hype around Barca and lamine yamal but after all was said and done, the match came and we all can attest to the fact that football is played with legs and not just mere mouth. Bayern has been in their good form no doubt but can you say that arsenal has been anything short of a superb team? if you think of a single name that is in his beast form in Bayern, you can think of someone that is possibly better than him in arsenal. it is going to be a much tougher game than what we watched in the game against Barca and the way i see it, any of both team has what it takes to steal the glory.

Luck was not with Bodo Glimt. Bodo Glimt players were able to  perform quite well in this match. They also  made a lot of attacks. But even then they lost the match. Bodo glimt was ahead at the end of the first half. The match was tied 2- 2 until the 90 th minute of the match. Juventus scored their last goal after 90 minutes. Jonathan David saved juventus. After 90 minutes , Jonathan's goal allowed Juventus to win. This was Juventus' first victory in the Champions League.

Chelsea beat Barcelona and secured their third victory in the Champions League. Chelsea took the lead in the first half with an own goal by Kounde and played more comfortably after Araujo was shown a red card. Yeah a d that's also the part I'm surprised about, Chelsea out playing Barcelona in terms of possession in the first half. They have constantly been a threat to them that it seems as if Barcelona doesn't know what they are playing. Again the fact that they hid the players that would have made things happen for Barcelona. Yamal was well contained that the first time it was as if he did something in the match was around the 10th minute when he tried to dribble Cucurella and didn't succeed. The game is really choking them and if not for that their offside trap, they would have conceded more goals already in the first half.

As in Chelsea outperformed Barcelona in all aspects of the match reaching at the statistics of the game online and it marveled me how Barcelona could not score a goal with all the stars Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphael Raphinha that were present in the match except Pedri whom I can not make an excuse for Barcelona loss to Chelsea. If it were xabis Leverkusen, I could say there is possible chance for them but the current Leverkusen against the current Manchester City is like two worlds apart, Leverkusen should just try not to concede too many goals, Manchester City in their previous game has shown so much form and resilience even with the little struggle they had at some point, but Leverkusen do not seem to me like they will contend better but then Manchester City should not take them for granted either.

Leverkusen is absolutely not at the level of Manchester City but that's how it is, this is something obvious and they have shown their skill unlike those who have money, economic power and much stronger players, they imposed themselves and won the match like a good team.
