We watched a truly incredible match yesterday. I can’t remember the last time there was a Champions League match this competitive, where we couldn’t tell who would win until the very last minute. PSG scored a whopping five goals against Bayern Munich at home, but also conceded four. With nine goals scored in the match, I didn’t expect to see that many. I realized how much I’ve missed Champions League matches with this many goals. It was truly an incredible match. I think the return leg will be just as intense.

Before the match many predicted that both teams would play cautiously, but what happened was the exact opposite: both teams attacked, attacked, and attacked. Both teams were reliable individuals, capable of excelling in 1v1 situations, their structure and fluidity supported their attacks and finally most remarkably they produced very effective finishing. Honestly, I saw this match like a final, with both teams playing so well.

We must also thank coaches Kompany and Enrique. Thanks to them we finally got to witness a top class offensive duel this year in the UCL. It could be said that this was a dream and ideal match. This wasn't about two teams being unable to defend, but rather how well they found solutions to break down the opposing defense and score goals. The first leg saw a remarkable 9-goal score.

Bayern Munich managed to close the gap after conceding five goals, scoring two more. Perhaps if they had been more demoralized after conceding five, they might have faced an even worse scoreline in the return leg, but they maintained their consistency, scoring two more goals and going to Germany with a one-goal lead. Anything is possible in Germany. Bayern Munich will advance to the final if they win by at least two goals. I expect another magnificent match between the two teams in the second leg.

But they were unable to secure an aggregate lead despite the goals they scored. As for PSG managed to take the aggregate lead by capitalizing on the numerous scoring opportunities they created. A flurry of goals occurred in the first half as both teams’ attacking lines intensely threatened each other’s defenses just as they did in the second half. So I personally believe the second leg will be just as intense as this first leg. But PSG may face the pressure of playing as the away team at the Allianz Arena. And I’m sure Bayern Munich will also dominate possession just like in this first leg. The second leg is highly anticipated given the fierce competition between these two teams to advance to the Champions League final.

It has been a long time since I watched such an incredible match like this. The match was so interesting, and this is how I have always wanted to see the Champions League when it gets to this stage. I don’t always expect one side to be better than the other just because they are strong; that is the reason why they are able to make it to the semi-final.But what really made this match so interesting is that both teams are attacking teams, and that is what led to more goals. Neither team wanted to defend; it was all about how many goals each team could score.

One thing I knew from the beginning, even before these matches were played, and I kept telling people, is that each team would want to win their home game, and goals would be the difference. However, some people were hoping that Bayern Munich would beat PSG both home and away, or probably draw with PSG in their home game and then beat them at Bayern’s home.Now it is left for the second leg, and in this second leg, Bayern Munich have to wake up, if not, it may not be easy for them.

If either teams played defensively the scoreline would've been different from what you saw but even though PSG won Bayern Munich still have good chance to qualify even though their opponent is ahead by a goal, they'll have the home advantage in the second leg.

 All good were fantastic and it made the match more interesting cause the point when you think it's over, the other team scores to give you hope that they'll win i wish that game was the finals cause it was,very interesting. Kompany is gradually setting the mark and could be recognized as one of the best coach in history if he continues this way.

That was really an aggressive performance but still bayern Munich almost equalized but they couldn't do that. psg still remains one of the best team in the champions league competition and I'm really hoping that they bag the trophy again this season. The game ended up having a total of nine matches, who would have thought that they would be able to score a high number of goals in the game, it was an interesting game to watch.

The stages of Champions League that I remember and are worth watching is knockouts between Real Madrid and Manchester City, that game spark alot of reactions and it is worth every minute that was played in the match. The Quarter final was between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, that match was more than action movie but you see what Bayern and PSG played yesterday, it was a war movie, that's how matches are ought to be played, not draws here and there.

I'm ready and waiting to see what Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are going to play in the next few minutes to start. Honestly, I didn't bet on this guys, they are not trustworthy. Last game of Arsenal in the Champions League looks like domestic league with a team at the relegation with Sporting, only Atletico gave some sparkling but since they are both unpredictable, I will stay neutral and let see who is going to win and who is going to likely go home in the next leg.

We say there's no room for defense, but we also know that the team that defends well will win. When Paris Saint-Germain took the lead yesterday, they should have slowed down the game and circulated the ball in their favor. However, by not doing that and attacking for more goals, they left too many gaps in their defense. A quality team like Bayern Munich won't forgive that. It seems another great match awaits us in the return leg.

I don't know, but i feel PSG might struggle in the second leg, because Munich will play with more confidence since they are playing at home, and the more important is, Munich success to brought 4 away goals from Paris Saint-Germain at the first leg, will help them to play better in the 2nd leg. If Munich wins this match, i think Munich have better chance to get UCL title this season than Arsenal or Atletico. And if my prediction is right, Munich will become the 3rd club to win the UCL 7 times in history, after Real Madrid and AC Milan.

This first one would be small to what we are going to watch next because is the final leg and no more additional chance for the teams but however it has been so because of the only one goal PSG had above Bayern Munich because is very easy for the same aggregate the moment Bayern scored first, then from there Kompany will no if the game is deeper than him or flexible. If the match had favoured Olise it would have been Bayern Munich with the 5 goals or 6 goals because few shot he took was meant to be in the net but somehow it doesn't penetrate in. Yesternight was indeed like the final, interesting from the beginning to the end. Some people are even having the mindset that tonight match between Atletico Madrid and Arsenal will be as boring as that between rhe later and Sporting CP. However, the first 10 minutes of the match is saying otherwise, as we have seen some beautiful and fast football from both teams with Arsenal even missing a chance. I think we are in for another interesting march tonight. Ops Alvarez almost scored but the keeper was there for the save!... nice short on target.

I have no doubt in Bayern Munich winning at their home in the return leg. PSG will be blaming themselves for allowing Bayern Munich score that number goals against them. You know at a point PSG were winning 5:2 before Bayern scored 2 more goals to keep the tie very close. If Bayern could win Real Madrid 4:2 in their home, I don't see what will stop them from beating this PSG team with similar result in the return leg.

Bayern will have a good advantage at home, but when we are talking about teams like these, there is really nothing sure about the games. I get that it may look like Bayern should win, but PSG could win too, or maybe it would be a draw, we have really no idea about what is going to happen.

Louis Enrique said after the game that they deserved the win, but they also deserved a draw, and they actually deserved a loss too, as in this game was such a game that everyone deserved everything. Same could happen on the second game, we can't say that this will win or that will win, we have to wait and see because both teams are amazing and they are far better than anyone else in the world, so you never know what is going to happen in this game.

If PSG had refrained from attacking for some times when they were leading with three goals that would have given Bayern Munich the freedom to approach PSG 18 yard box very often and they would have been lucky enough to even score two or more goals within the time PSG refrained from attacking. Even though Bayern Munich scored two goals after PSG three goals lead, its still okay as PSG didn't change their pattern of play because they would put themselves on big pressure. Bayern Munich will beat PSG in the second leg, but I don't know what the goal difference would be.
