Those who used the 12th man chip on him must have missed the news before the deadline, just like myself, I made a transfer to bring in Haaland for Palvidis and bring Haaland back on 12th man, If I didn't miss the news, my 12th match chip would still be available or would have used for someone else. I guess I can't complain much yet, not doing as terrible as I thought I would, but next game would be an all or nothing one because it'll be tougher to catch a breather or grow ranks once we move into the round of 16.

Don't trust in deadline, make your team early. Who knows when they plan to lock it now. They had one time in rules, another on site and then they locked it 2 hours before first game in Round 1 which wasn't mentioned anywhere

I sometimes watch old video clips and understand that football is fundamentally different now and many modern footballers would not have survived then. Especially fragile technicians like Neymar. It was a truly powerful contact sport. Now, with the rule changes (prohibition of tackles from behind, regardless of whether it is successful or not) and the introduction of VAR, football is turning into futsal. I can't say for sure whether this is good or bad, but the fact is that these are different sports.

Neymar is barely surviving this era, he is not fragile just injury prone and will struggle to survive any era of football cause it is still an incredibly high contact sport. Many older footballers will struggle to keep up with the tactics required in the current era.

It's a must win game for us - for the first time we just want Enzo Mascara to stop doing stupid experiments like his mentor Pep and play players in their actual position. I won't be surprised if I see Palmer in DM anyway. I'm counting on our cleansheet but I'm more focused on our attacking assets.

It doesn't help seeing the lineup some 30-35 minutes before the deadline, lol. I had triggered my wildcard 2 days ago, and I ended up not making any alterations, but I have a whole new lineup for the matchday 3, I was waiting to whether PSG would start Doue or Barcola, but Doue does start as expected, but seeing Mayulu in the lineup got me really tempted to grab him, I just couldn't find a way to fit him in, would have been an easy call if Kvara or Doue wasn't in starting XI

Anways here is my WC team, I hope the fantasy wildcard curse would spare me for this MD
