Check the charts last year, they're mostly have 10x before 2024 has ended. But for this year? it's still possible. And the problem is, we shouldn't time the market for the altcoin season. The BTC dominance remains untouched and that means that the alts won't have that much cashflow from BTC unless something big happens to the L1 projects that shall move people's holdings from there to alts.

Yes there will be an altseason , we just dont know when we need Bitcoin dominance to start falling.

There are signs now of Ethereum doing well and when it is clearly outperforming Bitcoin we can start thinking of alt season as it will mean many will be taking profits out of Bitcoin to put into altcoins.

We might have a bit of an altcoin pump this month but I don't think we will have real pump till after the summer in Q4, that is when I am expecting biggest rally for altcoins like we saw end of last year.

Possible but not so quick, you may likely find it hard or even impossible to lay hold of such asset that can give you 10x with in a short frame of time, most of the altcoins that promises such high returns are just pumped and dumped projects which are nothing different from ponzi scams, since there are just bubbles that will burst eventually, so we may not count them worthy of our attention no matter the amount of promised pumped and whatever profits promised.

Possible but not so quick, you may likely find it hard or even impossible to lay hold of such asset that can give you 10x with in a short frame of time, most of the altcoins that promises such high returns are just pumped and dumped projects which are nothing different from ponzi scams, since there are just bubbles that will burst eventually, so we may not count them worthy of our attention no matter the amount of promised pumped and whatever profits promised.

There are more altcoins then you think that give steady growth over a few months, my best altcoin return so far is one called arcblock it did a 40x in 3 months early 2024 - I sold at 10x & 25x. Still holding some as believe it will go past $5 when altseason finally comes later this year which will give me a 50x return.

Everyone has different risk level, but for those of us with average money we have to take more risk and hold onto our altcoins past 4x or 5x return. There are many that will give at least 20x return or more.  You just have to take the risk with low caps.

Just look at Bitcoin Dominance chart, it's relatively steady moving up at this moment. let's expect this as a sideway that will be last for a few months before alts season to happen again. However, i'm not sure about when alts season will come. It's probably waiting for Bitcoin to reach 68% - 70% dominance before it'll drop.

Not being optimistic to the alts, but it's totaly unpdredictable at this moment. Only a few alts are increasing while almost all of alts are still at the bottom. Never expect big thing to come from alts now, and if it's not happen, it will only disappoint you.

I wouldn't hope for a 10x when altcoin market cap is at 1.2 trillion dollar. 2x still make sense for most of the coin but 10x doesn't make sense at all.
The only possible scenario is if the institutional investor for some reason put their money into alt and not all altcoin will go up.
At time like this I will be realistic, altcoin market is so fragmented liquidity wise, money always shifted to the new narrative abandoning the previous altcoin.
If you observe carefully, most of altcoin got really low trading volume after 2-3 months, around 5-10m a day, meaning market lost interest.

I wouldn't hope for a 10x when altcoin market cap is at 1.2 trillion dollar. 2x still make sense for most of the coin but 10x doesn't make sense at all.
The only possible scenario is if the institutional investor for some reason put their money into alt and not all altcoin will go up.
At time like this I will be realistic, altcoin market is so fragmented liquidity wise, money always shifted to the new narrative abandoning the previous altcoin.

We are not asking for the altcoin market cap to 10x.

There will be altcoins that do 10x , even 20x - it’s just being diversed enough to find one of them.

XRP did a 6x in just 5 weeks end of last year so if something with billions in supply and massive market cap can do that imagine what the smaller marker cap coins will do when some kind of alt season finally happens

Alt season happens anytime that the market sees a lot of liqudities inflows in the altcoins market to the extent that a wave will be caused that can trigger the market to jump into a bull season for the altcoins market, Bitcoin have hard a lot going for it this season with a lot of the Bitcoin ETF approvals and many other positive regulations towards Bitcoin this caused Bitcoin to stand out for the past months and other coin are still lagging behind, but that is not the end since the cryptocurrency market is a chain and for that it will definitely follow each other as times goes on, and things began to take shapes as regards to political promises and programs.

You said that alts season happened only when many liquidity inflows from Bitcoin to the alts. In fact, this is not happen anytime. 

Have to take USDT.Dom and BTC.Dom as most important indicator to determine whether we're at alts season. So, the perception to think alts season happen anytime is not true because it totally depends on some indicators.

If you're also watching market carefully. You should aware how many tokens still stuck even very close at their all time low price.

I personally think that altcoins that have 10x potential still have the possibility to exist in this cycle, but the number may not be much, getting 2 alts that have increased is quite good, then if we look at the price from the lowest point like Hyperliquid, they have quite an increase in price that I think is already 10x and yes few people realize it, we should not calculate the price in the current market situation but look at the lowest price formed in this cycle and its highest achievement, such as Fartcoin and others, if the analysis is further then I say we have an altcoin that exceeds bitcoin's performance in terms of price increase percentage even though it does not last long and continues to grow to print new ATHs like Bitcoin.

Altcoin dominance has started to decrease because there is no more hype anymore, and now bitcoin is almost continuously growing approaching ATH while altcoin is still stagnant with no sharp increase meaning altcoin season is still far away even though some investors are still expecting it. Fortunately we have withdrawn most of the altcoins because we already know the signs early in 2024 where altcoin dominance is decreasing.
