There are so many groups on Telegram offering sports betting tips, with some even charging a subscription fee to send daily picks you’re supposed to follow. Honestly, I’m skeptical about it.

Because with how unpredictable sports outcomes are, I find it hard to believe that someone can consistently provide winning picks and charge a fee as if they’re offering guaranteed results.

Is this just another scam, or is it actually possible that some people have genuinely profited from these groups?

They will encourage you to join using some tactics like showing you their winnings. I have not joined any Telegram group like that before but my friends that have joined do not make money from betting. In fact, they lose than win. It is just a scam as usual.

Everything that I have seen related to money about betting, like this one has always been scam. This is just only one among them.

There's absolutely nothing exciting about getting hooked on a telegram channel, just to get predictions and tips. Those channels are set in a way that only the admins can write anything. So, there's a possibility of getting scammed, but no avenue to lay complaints/warn people about it. I see a lot of people reacting with angry 😡 emojis -- yeah, that's how I know.

I'm blatantly not saying they don't make profits at all, even if this were legit platforms, it's no better than the predictions you can make yourself, if you have the facilities and a vast football experience. Do you understand the pain of running a paid subscription on telegram just to get those games, only for you to run on a losing streak both-ways ?

This is one of the longest running scam relating to social media and gambling. I remember decades ago groups on facebook doing this, and of course nobody has even made profit from this. Why would they ask your for money if they had winning bets all the time? People don't understand basic math, because if somebody had the winning bets for just a short time they would be very rich very fast.

Some occasional wins are normal, but they have the negative effect that they hook people onto these scams out of desperation or greed.

There was this friend group I was in. Although not everyone there was a gambler but there were few persons interested in gambling and we kept conversations and share booking codes. I cant count how many times I have won from the code that was sent to that group and how many times they have also won from my own codes too. So, it's a plus for me if I am in such group. However, anything that has to do with sure prediction channels on telegram and co count me out.

Well for me, over the years I have joined several betting groups both on WhatsApp and on Telegram and I can assure you that they're several tens of games been posted daily and after selecting and even editing it still turns out red at the end of the day, especially the ones from Telegram groups. Although, among all the betting groups in WhatsApp that I belong to, there's this particular group that's outstanding, we are not much so we kinda know ourselves even though some of us haven't seen each other. I can vividly remember that I have won some from the games posted in the group.

Even knowledgeable or expert analysts who come up with odds for betting end up wrong. Even sports fanatics who are so familiar with all the factors involved in matches could end up wrong in their predictions. Anybody could be wrong in their analysis.

So, I won't buy those marketing spiels of tipsters. Some of them even go as far as claiming insider information of fixed matches to convince people how guaranteed their tips are. They're lying.

If their tips are guaranteed they wouldn't have to go through all the hassles of selling subscriptions, convincing others, and so on. They could easily just sell or pawn their properties, take a loan, or whatever if they don't have the money. Their predictions are guaranteed accurate, anyway.

I think you should know by now that it's all a scam and nothing more, imagine how unpredictable leagues are, even players do not know who will win in a match, then someone is somewhere sure of a particular match.

It's absolutely insane that people believe.
However it's possible that they can predict a correct result 10/100, in a hundred predicted only a maximum of ten can be outright which means the people in those groups are either blindly following or are consistently lossing.

I also know that some small leagues are compromised and can be predicted by insides but not everytime will such information be giving out if it eventually does happen. so the probability of this groups having a prediction outright is very small.

Personally I would never follow such sports betting tips, because I feel that if it is profitable, then he should keep it himself, then why is he selling or sharing it all? Well, the answer is for a specific purpose, and I think it is about profit. So the point is "there is no free lunch", I think they are just taking advantage of their users, while the predictions they provide are just bait, just like the crypto prediction group on telegram that you may often see, I think it is also just taking advantage of their users, or even selling their traffic.

If the group is 100% free and they will never ask for anything, then it might be worth your time to follow and just watch how their picks go, but soon as they ask for $1 time to go. Most of the time these groups are going to be a scam and not worth your time.

I am not a fan using that way because I don't really trust that they have an accurate prediction. Although I don't have friends who join on that services, I don't suggest people to join because it is better they learn about analysis and search the info by themselves. That will help them to improve their skills so they don't have to rely on others. Besides that, by learning about the analysis, they will have more knowledge that will useful for them in the future. They can save the money and can be used for placing their bet.

Lost profit, does that count? Didn't really spend any money though since my friend was lucky enough to get a free recommendation, so he added me! Honestly the advice was just a bunch of generic shit, backed with some stats yes, but idrk where or how they got them. As I've said before I do my own so I  also got some numbers with me. Some of it matched up, some just swerved so differently that idk wtf happened lol.

Don't really suggest joining them. You can do a lot more on your own imo. And free as well!

The only people who make money from gambling groups are the people who charge money to be a part of them. With investment groups you can at least make the argument that investing money together is an added bonus, but with gambling you are literally hurting each others odds by chasing the same bets…

No, I haven’t, and I don’t have any plans to join one unless it’s completely free. Even then, I wouldn’t rely on them. Maybe I’d check it out just to get some ideas or opinions about an upcoming match. You know, sometimes it helps to see someone else’s opinion and compare it to yours. I’d only consider buying from someone if they can actually show proof that their win rate is around 80% to 90%. A high percentage is a must, especially since I’d need to earn back the fee. But honestly, Telegram groups are often full of scammers and trolls, so there’s a big risk.

I have found many Telegram groups like this, and i can say with certainty that our own predictions are definitely more satisfying than those of others. Logically, those who make these predictions cannot possibly give them away for free continuously, there must be some benefit they think they will gain, i think and wonder.
Why would they be willing to share them with others?
Wouldn't it be better to keep them for their own benefit?

There is nothing as an accurate prediction anywhere so it is deceptive for anyone to think that such thing exists, people only get their predictions played out by chances and nothing to boost of, there is nothing wrong given those groups predictions a chance especially if it is for free and the prediction is some worth kind of in alignment with your own risk tolerance level, the aspect I hate about this is when it is not for free because it is going to be a double lost to pay to those games and still lose at the end of the day and of course it is not going to be refundable, if we can take responsibilities for our actions in light of joining of those betting groups then is fine.

I am sure that this is a deception for gullible people.   By the way, forecasts in such groups are not even based on inside information (no insider will sell information for pennies to the first comers, even if there are thousands of them), since the value of inside information lies precisely in the fact that it is known to a few. I don't rule out that someone thinks otherwise. Everyone is free to decide for themselves what to believe.

It's a two edge sword, there are genuine groups and as well, there are scam groups. I have had an encounter with both the genuine groups and scam groups both in Telegram and WhatsApp in the past. The truth is even the genuine groups are purely predictions that sometimes fails but I can tell you that some groups have higher success rate than their failure.

The scam groups are just copy cat that edit their tickets to deceive gamblers who are eager to win big by all means and then block people after collecting their money. I will advice you to run from any group that offers you a correct score, that's the headquarters of scammers in this gambling industry.

Some people do this for extra money. If they are legitimately providing some signals, especially in sports betting, I don't think it's a scam. But if their signals are just coming from other sources, like they just copy it somewhere, I can say it is a scam.
Plus, even how legit these groups are legit or free/non-free, you cannot guarantee 100% wins or profitability. The risks are still there.
