This one of the best news this year in our local gaining two merit merits source just wonderful, congratulations to Charles-Tim and Mia Chloe , you both deserve the merit source and believe you guys are going to do some great work as a merit source .having four merit sources is a milestone to this local board ,once again congratulations to you both.

 Waking up to such news feels good, what a lovely way to start a day, congratulations to our very own Charles-Tim, he really deserves it, he's a very good post, on of the best that inspires younger members of the Nigeria Local Board to do better, glad that his impact in our board wasn't overlooked by Theymos.

 This is a good development to our board, we're growing more bigger hence we needed more merit sources and there's no better time to approve that than now, once again, congratulations to Charles-Tim.

So I believe @Mia Chloe @Charles Tim @SmartGold01 were those that were approved for now. Having 3 additional merit source to the board is a huge improvement and win for us. Make I reserve other comments  

However, Upgrade00 is already a great contributor to the forum and LB so I believe he will still get the goal when the time comes for him. You all are great guys and congratulations to the LB.

He made the post before @SmartGold01 made declarations maybe that’s why he missed it, but I am sure the OP will add it to the main thread soon.

Once again, congratulations to you all, you both deserve the task of merit sources because you all are good and quality posters, and you can make good changes to the community in terms of merit circulations.

However, let’s not start ranting that we must have merits since we now have more sources, let’s keep the good work going, and let’s keep giving quality contributions by making quality post to make their work easy. We can all keep the local board well recognized if we keep giving quality contribution to the forum in general and our local board too.

Congratulations to Charles-Tim and Mia Chloe. This is good news for the Nigeria local board; this has been a longtime request, and I remember when Charles-Tim made an appeal as a local board merit source. It is great to see the result of it; the wait was worth it.

Congratulations to Mia Chloe; he has always shown concern in distributing merit in this local board. A very big thanks to Theymose for approving these merit sources for the Naija board. At least the load won't be much on one particular merit source now; it can go round.

I really want to thank those who stood by me all these times sending your support to the application thread, right now I am a merit source and I got the messages when I woke up.  It's great to sleep and woke up seeing such messages, it gives Joy and energy. I could have updated the community but just a little bit occupied with my children at home but right now I am free to move round the forum.

Also thank you 1maiu for your little support at least I shared across those I came across before the approval came in last night.

This is good news to our local board! Now we have more numbers of merit sources in the house so those people who used to complain that merit are scarce and merit don't circulate well now have more people to convince with their posts. At least one of them will see your post meritable if others don't.

Congratulations to them once again. Igehbotz will be relieved a bit about his merit distributions. Also congratulations to SmartGold01 for joining them as a merit source. I am super excited for you all and the local board.

I don't think it's wrong to create a thread over this. In fact, It's very worthy to talk about and celebrate this after their applications have been on pending for a long time now. Congratulations to all of them that got their application approved by theymos recently.

The addition of new merits source is a step to help grow the local board and the forum in general. I hope the newly approved merit source will act towards achieving that goal and not digress from their main responsibility of fair merits distribution to posts that are worthy of merit.

I'm happy to hear these good news for our Nigerian local board. Having more Merit sources and therefore making the Merit system more decentralized is always a good idea. Maybe Mia Chloe and Charles-Tim are also active in Beginners and Help, an area which is also lacking of sMerit.

This is a good news to hear. Congratulations to all the accepted merit source from our Nigerian local board. It's a good thing to have merits source in our local board. However, our long time request have been approved by theymos. Now we have enough merits sources and it's a good thing to know that enough quality posts will be merited accordingly. It looks like every applications was approved except one.

If I had done that then I will be spreading false information without any reference. However, update has been made to the OP, SmartGold01 is officially a local board merit source.

Great to see that a woman has been added to the number of merit sources. There has been an increase in feminist groups in Nigeria that are clamouring for equal rights. Women are known to be good homemakers.  I remember how my mother would bring one pot of rice and share it among us fairly and equitably. So I believe that SmartGold01 will be a good merit source since she has a motherly virtue. Congratulations our female merit source.
