Do you reckon it is better to not risk that much in gambling and just keep playing low risk games and win even small amounts or do you always think that taking big risks is always the way to go?

We should first know what the gambler expects from gambling. If a gambler wants to spend a small amount of money and just have fun, then I think it is better for him to gamble with as little risk as possible. But some gamblers expect good rewards from gambling. It is better for those gamblers who are willing to accept their losses to take risks. Because if they take risks, they may get lucky at some point, but if someone does not take risks and expects big rewards in gambling, it will never be logical. In gambling a gambler must be under pressure. If someone takes that risk and gets a big win, I think that is a good imitative for the gambler.

The higher the risk, the bigger the reward, but not everyone is a high-risk taker. I prefer to keep gambling with little funds which targets small wins. Since I am a low income earner, I don't think I would take risk with my entire monthly income on gambling. But small bets can bring big wins if you hit the jackpot. Definitely, there's advantage when you don't take the risk of your hard-earned money to gambling. For one, you still have your money and you can use it to more important aspects of your life. Though the chance of getting profits is not there, but at least, you won't subject yourself from financial losses. You can take risk if you have good feeling about your bet. But if not, call it a day and just go back if you have good feeling about your day. It is not compulsory to gamble everyday. It would be best if you only gamble when you have spare funds and you really have the luxury of time to play.

Gambling with little money doesn't mean you are gambling for fun it shows that you are not a greedy gambler since you don't want to make plenty money when you are lucky to win, if you gamble for fun you are not expecting anything in return you just pay to have fun and you are not winning any amount of money. Most people who gamble with small amount of money like you do not what to take much risk in order not to be affected financially if they lose and others avoid gambling with big amount because gambling increases their blood pressure when they are on the losing side.

In life generally it's risky not to take risk but if you're on a budget on gambling it's very good to take risk because it wouldn't affect your daily life after the risk if you loss it will only stop you from Gambling more than you would want to do but if you take it outside the budget then it's definitely going to affect you.

Yeah, I agree. Taking a risk and when it pays, our brain releases dopamine. Every time we achieve something that was anticipated but slightly unexpected, dopamine is released. Sometimes we just feel the adrenaline rush and make risky bets.

Last week I had a good sports win which gave me that adrenaline rush and I started betting quite high amounts on high-risk Plinko. Wasn't great and wasn't bad but it shows that when we have something good going, we are ready to take more chances.

Usually I'm a low-risk gambler in the sense that I don't bet much apart from when betting on sports because I can analyse how things will go, or at least so I think .

It got me thinking to how this can be applied in gambling. I know that almost all kinds of gambling require some sort of sacrifice and some risk taking but the levels vary. Yes in the different aspects of life risk taking differs but in gambling it's much more tactical than one can imagine because you need to know the level of risk you're taking that won't amount to a loss or regrets much later. So then in trying not to take risks I still think it'll give a minimum chances of positivity to your game when you play, I'm not saying you should do too much but then be more cautious and reduce the risk cause either ways is luck that plays a role aside the big risks taken.

That's actually true, and quit pretty sure but the fact is that some people like taking risk despite knowing the outcome is highly risky. Some people believe in the slogan that say it is better to leave for something than die for nothing. And this is referring to taking risk than not taking atol.  I could remember some of my guys who like only a single game with a reasonable odd to risk high than accumulating thousands of odd with lesser amount because they feel that is laziness. So guys always figure out easy way for them. As what you see as risk may not be for them.

We must try to think like professionals who think through the risk/reward ratio in advance and understand what is more profitable for them at a particular moment. If they understand that the mathematical expectation is more important for them and they have an edge, then they will take this risk, and if it is not enough, they will simply skip it. I try to improve myself all the time in gambling, I think that I would think exactly like this. Everyone would know what works best for them and I fell you risk accordingly to how much you can afford in real life. I won't expect someone who earns very little in a month risking too much or even more than that of someone earning more. Taking risk can either make you or break you, it then depends on how you choose to manage your risk. I've heard a lot of stories of people who got ruin because they had the mind set of risk big and get rich, which to me is actually wrong. Risk only what you can afford to loss.

Yes, that's true the ones who take risks in gambling especially those who take big risks often end up with huge losses. In the hand house always wins and that's my own personal experience. In sports betting someone's luck can still help him/her to to win even if he/she takes big risks but in casino games it's not worth it to take big risks.
