That seems a little bit over the top. I can't imagine being so obsessed with preserving my BTC wallets and seed phrases(and my Bitcoins aren't that much). I don't know how this guy sleeps at night.
Nowadays you instantly become a target, right after you reveal that you have significant amount of crypto. This sucks. Maybe the better option for the "crypto family" would be to just sell most their BTC for fiat and use traditional banking services.
