Let's first change the currency, exchange the $6 to naira, but then forget about it and leave the sum in dollars.
The new title becomes:
A man has stolen $10,000 from his girlfriend — now this is title worthy.

Let's add the man has also won, from 10k naira to 100 million, so let's again forget about the currency and make it 100 MILLION USD! And spice it up with the girlfriend suing him!
New title:
Man steals $10k from girlfriend, wins $100 million, girlfriend sues him!

Since it's all made up, let's not care about where it happened it's either Nigeria in 2021 or Uganda in 2025

But since it's a fake story anyhow, let's spice it up let's add a picture from 2019 about a guy that won a parlay with his own money and little drama whatsoever.

Anything is possible and we can say for sure those stories where true or not but we just have to believe that crazy things happens out there, but since we aren't their to verify it what do you think people should do? Lucky guys these ones who can still from their girlfriends or wives  , personally I own every money here, even the credit card and debit card of my wife so I don't need anything like that. I don't know what people find interesting in such stories that someone robbed his wife or girlfriend and won a huge amount, maybe they sell a lot in online advertising and people who sell these stories somehow make money, I don't see any other use case for this. At first I never believe such stories except the ones who have a real link and I can find the link all over Internet and not just one link that it is provided, those are the only stories I believe. Well I have heard crazy stories which are not good to mention here, yet I will mention one, one guy started stealing cemetery plates and we all know who he become.

This is a post someone made regarding the story; What will you do if you’re on his shoe? realising it was built on lies makes me wonder if most of the story we've been getting are really true, but regardless of whether true there is a moral lesson from this stories because it's going related and we discuss that hence nothing is impossible it could be a fake story today but because a true story of someone here in the forum or related.

But I will take it seriously, sometime there's an unimaginable or weird story happen. The story might be true, but they don't have the pictures, instead they use someone else picture or AI generated image with their own story.

Non the less, we can't always believe what ever we see on social media. Most people just drop stories to fill up their views. The best we can do it to view am just scroll away. If there was a specific casino or betting platform seen to show up more often with such stories, I would have concluded that it's a means of promoting the casino so they just cook up lie stores trying to lure people. That's the dilemma these days. With the rise of social media platforms, basically, anyone can create their own story, making it a 'viral' one and earn from it. So yes, a lot of posts or situations that you can read over the net are not true. They are created for consumption of the public either for monetary gain or just for fun/bragging in cyberspace. Better be cautious on what you read because a lot of them are just fakes. But many people are capitalizing socmeds to earn a living. You just need a good story or a smartphone to capture a video and know how to sell it to the public, you will earn views that can be monetized these days. So you'll never know the capability of these platforms these days. It is quite amazing how people can earn something ranging from stupid things to intellectual entries.

The same pictures but different stories. One happened in Nigeria but the other happened in Uganda. Maybe the Nigeria one is true because it happened first but what if both are even fake and not true at all. There are many fakes news online and some of them come with fake pictures.

So what happened to your bankrolls? Did you get em emptied and got lost on keep "trying you luck" if you can win but ended up a looser and think following the step of the man behind the story who stole from his girlfriend and made a successful return will bring you the success you have been chasing all the while?

What if paraventurely your girlfriend does not have the money, can you also afford to take her for collateral since you have bargained on unfamiliar risk bearing as a course of the man in the storyline.

Well I so hope the headline ain't gone be "Man gets arrested by girlfriend after stealing and losing her money on a popular crypto casino". I bet that'll make a much better headline. Hahaha.

It's true that not everything we see online is actually authentic, but you might be surprised to know just how authentic some of the crazy stories we see are, especially when it's got to do with gambling. More often I do some pretty cool stories and honestly I do question the authenticity of some of these stories. But just like someone said above, sometimes, the authenticity of the stories ain't always that important but the moral lessons entailed in the stories.

The  best way to treat all this gambling stories shared online is, we take them and eat them like someone using a fork to eat rice, pick the one you want and leave the rest to fall off.

Those people that spread this kind of propaganda on their page on Facebook or Twitter, what do they stand to archive by deceiving people to believe what's not real? If  their flowers finds out that they are spreading false news, it can cause them lose that follower and get a bad reputation and yet they don't consider it before spreading lies. There are some news site in my that most people don't take serious anymore because they lost their credibility by spreading only click bait information and that's the same faith the users that upload such lies will face. The advice you gave is very important, people must not believe everything they read or watch on those platforms.

Even though I believed the story it was a little bit sketchy to me, that's why it's not good to believe unverified stories on the internet... bloggers can twist things just to get views and engagements on their page.. people just sit down to think of a captivating headline then they put it up to get attention, luckily for them people are actually buying it lol...These platforms spread false news on a daily basis, this is a big example

There is another hand of this situation. We can read it hear and react on it here - it don`t need anything from us, just few words about situation. Or we can spend some time with our own research.
If any news doesn`t make me to spend some resources and don`t change my mind or my life - i willn`t search proves. For me it doesn`t matter truth it was or fake.

This is just true.
 I find even useful that this has been highlight here on the section since there are "many fishermans" on forum.
We are reading daily tons of tons of fake news, comments, and everything totaly biased and without any evidence.
Even such gambling story are just a click bait (and to add a basic of truth these are posted in a scam newspaper).

Oh, and it's not just that. Just because someone posted about someone winning something big, we are going to rush and try it too. That's stupid. We cannot just jump in because we envy people who did it or claim to have done it.

We can congratulate them, fake or not. But it doesn't mean that we have to mimic them because they have done it in a certain type of game. I have seen a lot of posts on Facebook claiming to win a high multiplier on a certain slot game, but all those could just be a marketing strategy, and there's really no hard proof that they won it and claimed it after withdrawal. We don't have to waste money just to see it ourselves, we can just cheer for them and end it there.
