One thing I want to ask and confirm though. Every player must make the deposit before every tournament, right? So even when some of us won some money in the first one, we can't see that as a deposit for the second, right? Unless we have withdrawn and then redeposit of course.

Yes, for every round, you need to make a separate deposit and wager. There is no deposit or wagering requirement for the grand finale.

Not sure yet if i can play because of my bball tournament Saturday morning and the poker league starting at midnight.

Good luck with your basketball match (I am guessing it is basketball, right?). I have made some changes (which you already know) so that it won't last much longer, so try to join it, it won't take long. In any case, I know you will be there in future rounds, playing only AA  . Since we have now seen that rules written on the front page don't count eventually, what will be your resolution to any draw at the end of the qualifying rounds? Excuse me if I overlooked it in case you have already defined that rule, but I think we should try to be fair and stick to the rules outlined in the OP. This is what people read, what they rely upon and ambiguous terms that demand fantasy interpretations should be avoided. Example: top 6 could mean 20 players.

Hmm I would have done it that way:

If players have the same number of points/$ their highest placement in any (or more) tournaments comes into consideration. Meaning if 2 guys for example have let's say 200$ and both have 0 1st, 2 2nd place finishes the 3rd place finishes make the tiebreaker. This would reward results and not participation.
Tis also eliminates extra tournaments since it's like super unlikely 2 players have the same cash and exact same finishes.

But of course you can set up the rules however you like!

After a lot of thought, I have decided that we should play this one with a 12-minute blind structure (between 10 and 15). We will see how it goes and adapt accordingly in future rounds.

I got a lucky sit in this round. Although I have ended with 4th rank for being in a hurry. But I was getting good hands at this time. I would have done a little better if I played all hands instead of folding them. My cards were always having some combination with the dealer cards. Anyway, this round has ended very quickly (in less than two hours). Everyone was expecting 'MVPoker' to dominate again, but 'jeilian' is the winner of this round.

I was late by 36 minutes and I was left with 12.5 BB or something lol but yeah it was better than 10 minutes blind I guess. People would be way more aggresive for sure

Anyway, this round has ended very quickly (in less than two hours).

As expected of 12 minutes blind with 20+ players. Well even if we increase the blind to 15 minutes it wont really matter that much unless you managed to stay until the very end. Probably would drag the game until 2.5 hours or so but I personally think 12 minutes is a sweet spot for now. Lots of occasional players so obviously we dont want to drag them for hours on the game

Looking at the result it seems the luck part really did take over after cutting the time in half. Especially for 1 person, MV knows what I am talking about. Anyway, congratulations to the winners.
As I have predicted, I couldn't play because in 90 minutes I have to stand on the basketball tournament for our little Kyoto 3x3 basketball tournament I was looking forward to for months. Next Friday I will definitely try to be back in the mix.

Didn't play well this round because I had to finish and submit my entry for the Roobet art contest. I guess completed the tournament in less than 5 minutes.
I’ll just try to bounce back in the next rounds. I think I still have chance to qualify for the championship round of this poker tournament. I think finishing 1-3X for 1 Rank to 3 Rank will secure spot for championship unless every round same winner.

Anyway I'll accept sidebet for the next round - just $20. Let me know who wants to take. Just Me vs You not pool.
