Funny enough, investing in Bitcoin doesn't require prayers cause it doesn't control the market, the market is controlled by demand and supply, so while some are busy praying for the market to go up or down those who understand what investing in Bitcoin is all about are busy doing the needful, which is buying and holding then adding to their portfolio with the DCA.

I had a friend one time during my school days, he didn't read very well for the exam but spent more time praying i told him it doesn't work like that, your reading should be like a reference for your prayer. People are indeed very lazy when it comes to working to make ends meet and developing themselves. Even God said He would bless the works of our hands, this statement shows that God is capable of blessing us, but through the things that we do, so how exactly is God meant to help us when we are literally doing nothing and is not willing to get involved with anything productive and meaningful? That was a good advice you gave, and considering the future potential benefits of Bitcoin, it is never too late to invest in it, and it's best he buys the least he could afford now and hold on to it long term, rather than praying and wishing God will send Bitcoin from Heaven.

I don't know how your discussion with your friend transpired but you might have misunderstood him. I am praying that God will give me a car doesn't mean I am not working for it. It also doesn't mean that I expect God to send the car from heaven. Most religious people believe that you need God's grace to make your work or plans profitable/fruitful. Maybe he is saying that God will help him in making money to enable him buy Bitcoin.

All must work to get what he/she want, gone are the days of manner falling, anybody who wants to enjoy the privileges of success will have to work both smart and hard. A lot of Nigerians are overly religious and they don't know when to apply spirituality. The financial market doesn't care if you pray or not it works with principles. Your advice is right, but before getting or doing anything, you should pray to the Creator. The reason why you should pray to the Creator is that if you start any work by praying to the Creator, then maybe that work will be good for you. People always believe in the Creator and that belief must be fulfilled. But the effort must be within yourself, if there is no effort within yourself, it will not work. If I have a job, I will have to earn from that job and buy Bitcoin with the money I earn. If I can buy and hold Bitcoin, then I will definitely be successful. The Creator will never give you Bitcoin directly, but you have to pray to him, then any work will be easy and successful.
