I had a discussion with some dude and he was like he loves Bitcoin and would love to own a fair portion of it someday he even said he's praying for God to give him like 1 BTC, honestly i laughed out loud cause his statement was so funny, like you're praying to have 1 BTC but you're not working hard to own it or putting effort to own a fair portion of it, makes to sense at all.

Many Nigerians are fond of being called prayer warriors and try to want to achieve many things and aspirations through prayers only without putting in the effort. They have some kind of believe that even when they don’t put in that effort like others does, they’ll get what they want and this has made many of them not pushing for the best in making sure what they aspire for turns into reality. Anything you would want to achieve today, praying for it and working hard for it are the two things you should not joke with. We as Nigerians are known worldwide to be very religious, we shouldn’t allow that stop us from putting in the best efforts needed to make our aspirations come to pass. Praying without working makes your dreams and aspirations impossible or rather an aspiration of futility.

The advice you give to him is a very good advice some set of people especially Nigerians they think that God will come down from heaven and give them everything they are praying for, when you are praying to become rich you have to also work very hard in order to achieve what you are praying for, you cannot ask God for riches and you are in your house sleeping everyday without going to work you will remain poor forever.

I think it is very natural because according to what I have seen, most people make such comments. If you say faith doesn't have anything relating to Bitcoin then why do you hold your Bitcoin? The reason or what is making you to invest in Bitcoin and hold is because of faith because you believe and you are hoping for something great even though it is not guarantee and that is what faith is by definition or meaning. I've found out that many Nigerian believers are fund of this practice and it's part of the reason why some are still struggling to be financially stable, you'll see people praying for positive results without putting much effort to make it work.

Having faith without work is dead, you can pray from now till whenever you like and it is still not going to change anything about the market. investing in bitcoin goes beyond having faith that God will change the direction or price of it, there is nothing spiritual about it because it is all knowledge and practical. I have seen a lot of people like this, they can easily say a prayer, but they hardly put effort to achieve what they are praying for. Many people seem to forget the fact that when God said what ever you ask shall be given to you, he also said seek and you shall find. The misunderstanding or misinterpretation of this passage have lead so the downfall of so many people. Bitcoin isn't something you just wake up and hope for, without actively pursuing how to get it.

To seek in other words means you don’t just have faith or hope, you search, learn, reflect, and move toward hope coming to past.
