I fear that soon this will become a league like Germany or France, where only Galatasaray wins the championship. Because Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe are always two teams that are contenders for the championship. However, they have also been far from success for many years. If the league were dominated by a single team, it would be a boring place. I hope there will be more competition next year.

Given all this, I think they will play with full concentration, and I hope they do.

Both the goals for Beşiktaş, from the headed goal to the spot kick was surprisingly satisfying. Djalo made the headed goal look easy. He was clearly unmarked and didn’t have to contest more for the ball but, just bounced off the ground and found the net.
The penalty though, didn’t give the goalie any chance to have mixed up decisions.

I did take a live bet on Gaziantepspor on over 0.5 while they were already loosing by 2 goals in the second half. It was clear that they were the dominating side in the second half and they looked more dangerous on the offense but, they just wasn’t able to make the required finishing. Bayo came quite close, even a good 1 v 1 with the goalie but, just couldn’t get it past the goalkeeper.

I wouldn’t blame him exactly for the red card, it certainly wasn’t his fault and he was doing the most he could to make up for the short pass Osimhen tried passing to him. He did send a cross from outside the box and haven’t fully retired back to his box when Osimhen deemed it wise to send a ball backward, prompting him to rush out and he was late on the tackle.

After that, the game was all up for them as, there was no stopping Samsunspor. The red card they received was clearly visible and why Sane of all the players to remove, he wasn’t pleased but then, Galatasaray had their fair share of goals, 4:1 for a team that started the scoring.

I was also thinking that Galatasaray will win Samsunspor so that they can be declared winner of the Turkish Super League but they got defeated and their championship has been postponed either in their next match or in their last match of the season. Samsunspor played better and if not that Galatasaray player had a red card that affected them, the match could have ended in a draw because Samsunspor was already leading by 2:1 before the red card.

They will now wait for Galatasaray to drop points in the final two weeks. Fenerbahçe need to win all of their remaining matches if they still want to become champions, but that possibility seems very low.

Despite that Fenerbahce won their match, it is impossible for Galatasary to lose their remaining two matches and give Fenerbahce the possibility of winning the title. They can only succeed to become runners up which will take them to the Champions League qualification round.

After the draw against Goztepe, they can participate in the Europa League qualification round but if Fenerbahce misbehaves and lose their upcoming two matches while Trabzonspor win theirs, they might takeover Fenerbahce's position.
