Filipe Luis' name has been in the news for a while now. I think he's heading to Monaco. Beşiktaş continue their search for a new head coach. I don't understand their insistence on hiring a foreign coach. For the past 20 seasons, teams led by Turkish head coaches have been winning championships. Why are they still trying to bring in a foreign head coach? No one has won a championship since Zico in 2006/07.

It wasn't right to close the book on Şenol Güneş so early. The president should have left the door open. There aren't many alternatives when it comes to quality Turkish head coaches. I hope Beşiktaş can find the right person for the job. We want to see the team back in the race now.

For a club like Beşiktaş, I’m not sure how logical it is to bring in a famous manager right now, because in my opinion the team needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, and that process takes time.
Also, the new manager definitely needs to be given time. If the squad is going to be rebuilt from scratch, the best approach would be not to expect immediate success in the first one or two years.
But since this is Türkiye, people usually expect instant success right away.

Some players sometimes tend to confuse their reasons for staying in a club or leaving with greed or sometimes agent influence. I don't understand why he will be asking for such salary from Fenerbahce at this moment even though he earns the same €12 million per annum currently at Bayern Munich. If he insists on such salary, he may be left with the option of remaining in Bayern Munich and also taking his bench position for the rest of his contract period which will still last until around June 30th  2028. But as a young player he is, he doesn't suppose to be too focused on money at this period since he is just 29 years. What he needs now is a playtime which I think he will be offered in Fenerbahce. So he must have to choose between money and time.

There's also talk with Juventus which may result to a loan deal or a player swap of which this is the only way he can sustain his salary probably. But if he really cares about Fenerbahce, he would accept a pay cut and go to Fenerbahce.

Şenol Güneş is a very intelligent coach; he knows how to succeed in this league. However, he needed a good squad, and he didn't receive enough support from the team management in this regard, and as a result, the team failed to achieve success.

They are also making profit for themselves and struggled for their team, although their goal is more important to make the team better. Their signing so much should not be a loss for them because they should get players by looking at them so that their team is better. This team has played a lot better in this league but still they need to play better this time so that their team is successful in Turkey. It is their wisdom that they have used such intelligence. If they stick to it and the team continues to play well, they will get only benefits. They have to strengthen their team, for this they will have to look for even better players so that there is no excess in success. They should add him to the team and see once so that the team's color changes and if this does not happen, they should look for another way.

Well he was getting playing times there, so I am not sure why they want to even sell him, and I do understand him wanting to stay, because even if he is not the starter, not every defender will play for the whole games, so even as a bench player, he will get playing time whenever someone is injured or booked.

This is why I understand him wanting to stay, but I do not understand why they want to get rid of him. In the end we should be seeing them do a fine job selling him, because there will be many teams who will want Kim.

If you changed the presidents a few times, and if you changed the manager MANY times, and if you have a totally different team every single season, then you can't blame none of those, it must be the culture and the direction that is the entire problem.

If Beşiktaş reaches an agreement with Glasner, I think he would be a very good manager for Beşiktaş. This would be an opportunity for Beşiktaş, and perhaps we could see a restructuring of the club this summer. Also, I think the Fenerbahçe president's transfer promises are spot-on because Fenerbahçe needs a good striker, and their former player Vedat Muriç was playing brilliantly in the Spanish league with Mallorca. He could show the same performance in Turkey.

Even before the season has started, both presidential candidates are making some very poor decisions. Vedat Muriqi would only be a backup striker for Fenerbahçe. Because Vedat is not the kind of striker who can help Fenerbahçe achieve its big goals. Even if he is a good player, he is not a good fit for Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe’s presidential candidates offer no hope. If Beşiktaş reaches an agreement with Glasner on all matters, they will have achieved a major success. Beşiktaş needs a solid organizational structure, and they can achieve this properly with Glasner.

This isn’t a bad budget by any means, but we can say that the club needs to offload the surplus players as soon as possible. The players are on unnecessary salaries. I’m undecided about Kante; although he’s been performing well since he arrived, the fact that he’s on a high salary doesn’t really stand out.
