I can't imagine what codec you are using. I've had real-time digital video editing since 1996. Trading drive space for compression is rarely worthwhile and you should use the least compression possible to avoid artifact concatenation or in your case extreme rendering times just to avoid loss. Drive space is cheap nowadays and your final rendering to the distribution media should be the last step and should go pretty fast if you use youtube's codec.

Of course youre right and this will be remedied starting the next video. The equipment and software was all last minute and we rushed/improved most everything. This is certainly not my best work.

He lost his value.

Also, apologies in advance for all the syncing and sound issues. This was a horribly rushed and ill-prepared video. Next one will be tons better.

The humor isnt my cup of tea put lightly, but the pure bitcoin information parts are great.
Wish there was an edited ( without the sick humor... ) version to send on to people not in the bitcoin community.

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians."

First and foremost, thanks for watching. As for the humor, my influences are MadTV, SNL, CollegeHumor, 5SecondFilms, RobotChicken, FamilyGuy, MST3K, Marx Brothers, etc. On top of that, everything we did was ad-libbed so I wasn't expected it all to be comedy gold.

As for seriousness, this was just a Christmas Special so it wasn't really supposed to be serious. In the future expect plenty of serious regular shows starting in January, just don't expect me to host them all since serious and me don't mix. There are other hosts for those shows more appropriate for the topics.

And for those who really want non-humor, highly dry and boring, there is already a dry and boring bitcoin show out there. Lol

I hope to do twice as good the next time and blow your socks off. And if they were already blown off, then the next thing we make should blow them back on.

I'm 10 minutes in and had to pause to do RL stuff, but will return to it.

AWESOME JOB, Matthew!

I hate to say this, but you do seem to have that certain stage presence that comes across rather appealing. Hopefully, it's just me that sees it, otherwise the world's in trouble. (not meant as snide)

Congratulations Matthew.  Overall, it was really very well done given your first shot.  I'll agree some of the humor esp. that long printed rant toward the end wasn't really necessary but hey, we get what we pay for!

You're just demonstrating your beastiality!
