How do you spend your gambling wins?

Winnings from gambling comes unexpected and they are subject to proper management or excessive spending depending on the gambler's orientation.

Some gamblers have argued that the wins is not part of their financial plan, describing it as lucky and free money and they do not care how they spend it, but mainly use it for recreational purposes and to enjoy themselves by increasing their living conditions, partying and other forms of fun for a while, while there are others that apply more prudence in managing their winnings.

I like to think of my gambling wins as an income boost and depending on the amount, I always prefer using it to solve a particular issue or purchase a need that would always remind me of the winning.

Even though it's not good to put too much hope in the potential amount you might likely win after you've placed a bet, it's good to at least plan what you're going to do with it so when you eventually win the money, you don't end up wasting it on random people and things like doing give away to people around that knows you've won such amount of money.

The best thing to do after every win is to remove at least 70% of the win out as an amount you want touch regardless the urge. That can later be used to get yourself whatever you wish for or used to sort out your needs. The remaining 30% can be for catching of fun and you can decide to use It to celebrate in whichever way you want to.

Most times we just do this concept of easy come, easy go and spend everything off just because of the assumption that gambling money is a free money. Even though we can't describe gambling as investment but as long as you've deposited an amount that yields a particular return, it's more like an investment that never should be spent wrecklesly..

Actually if you should spend based on how you should gamble, on an Ideal basis for responsible gambling then you wouldn't really have a particular thing you essentially would want to spend your winnings on. This is because when you gamble, responsible gamblers often say it's best you expect a loss so you don't get hit emotionally if it eventually happens.
So partially if you are expecting a loss then you should simultaneously be expecting not to win and also not at the moment have a particular thing you'll like to spend those winnings on. Using this particular logic simply means most of the time you will decide what you wish to spend your winnings is on after you won already.

Me I do not see gambling as a means of income boosting even if I win at times. I just go for little odds on bets with small amount of money and also I do not go for more than 3 odds with some casino games like roulette. I prefer the way I see gambling as and not a way that will make me fall into addiction again.

Gambling wins are hard to come by, sometimes it can take as long as three to six months to get a win and you must have probably spent a lot on gambling before winning that...it would be a loss to you if you take the risk of gambling with your profit again..I don't hesitate to withdraw my profits immediately and get some groceries, but if the win is of high value I just go for gadgets Instead because of things I do online

This could be wrong. You may plan to gamble with your bankroll management, maintain discipline etc. Then at the same time you hit a huge win. You may choose to spend your win significantly on something rare you've always want. This feels different from the usual gambling day.

And there are people who gamble occasionally for a particular reason. It could be to purchase something, having fun, or anything else. So, in as much as this topic has been discussed here before, I could not leave this response pending, I just have to air my opinion.

This is one of the topics that will win the most discussed topics on the forum. We talk about it over and over again maybe it gives newbies the opportunity to contribute their own. Aside from the last time it was discussed, it has also been discussed multiple times and will still be discussed more time by new members.

Exactly what I do too. Take profit and do something useful with it so that if there is a loss on the next game, you have some consolation to your that you spent your gambling winnings well from the previous time. What is painful though is if you the wins from the previous game is blown on things that are not worth it.

I consider gambling profit as money dedicated for my personal luxuries spending. I typically purchase using things I rarely purchase for myself using my salary such gaming console, mobile phone and laptops.

I rarely win big so I always reserve this money on my target device like for now I’m waiting for my big win to purchase Nintendo switch 2 which I’m hesitant to purchase now using my salary.

There’s a lot of things we can do on our gambling profit since it’s just an extra money from our entertainment.

As long as the gambler enjoys his winnings and it won't be spent to anything illegal, it should be fine. If someone can't decide on how it should be spent, it's best to do an allotment for all of the expenditures that you want to do. But typically, if we have won, we should take back the bankroll that we've deposited and then let alone the remaining winnings will determine on how long should we stay with that money. So, another way is to buy yourself the reward that you want to have. Jewelry, gadget or anything that you think you deserve. Don't deprive yourself to rewarding yourself because you've won that and it's yours, don't let the casino take it back from you without even enjoying it that you can see the money within you.

The wrong perspective if someone has a mindset where gambling can increase income... because the fact is difficult to do, even if we win, we will bet small bets from the total winnings and the rest save money in our pockets... will be considered as bonus money.

I usually buy something significant as a simple remembrance from my winning, but it also depends on how much I won. If it’s  just a small one, I’ll just treat my family instead or take out some good foods wherein my kids will enjoy.

It really depends on how you look at it. Some may just buy something out of their winning to remember the good times some may just gamble it again thinking the luck is on their side and that it should be taken advantage. I tend to agree on this part after all, they money you wagered are considered lost anyway.

However if the winning is big enough that I can buy something worth keepin, I would buy something like a power tools or motorbike.

We have same spending habit on gambling profit which is using it on vacation trip. I’ve done it many times to surprised my girlfriend when we are not yet married until now by booking on luxurious hotel.

It’s so good to spend the money that you hard earned on risky games to something that you will enjoy with your special someone.

There is nothing wrong with your thinking, but someone might think you are wrong. If new gamblers think the way you think about gambling, it will be a greedy mindset for them and will gradually become addictive. Gambling for entertainment may be more rational than increasing income.

It may be natural to assume that very rich and influential gamblers do not have a financial plan, but I have never seen such people. I bet with small amounts, so if I win, the only thing I can buy are refills for my cell phone, I confess that I am happy when I manage to win and buy refills for my cell phone, but I also have no intention of starting to put large amounts of money on my bets because I don't have much money, I just bet what I can, if I were rich I would probably make large value bets and take the profit and go have fun in some physical casino, because my goal would really be to have fun playing

The only reason I say this is that when we win in gambling, we have the impression that my luck is good today. You know the classic? hot streak illusion! feeling unstoppable after a big win. People most often think they would probably win more money if they continued gambling.

I have even seen this in many cases. And these gamblers continue gambling. At the end of the day, it is seen that they have lost everything. Even after winning a large amount of money in gambling, they have faced losses at the end of the day. And this is why I said that it is important for us to be careful about spending money on gambling. When I win a large amount, the first thing I do is withdraw all my money or move it to Volt. Spend your winning accordingly on how you're much convinced of doing it, because you had your money at risk to gamble with it and should also enjoy the benefits of taking risk to play bets, but this must not be taken for granted and then we are found squandering it all for fun only, at least, there must be something we must be able to do as an achievement with the money and then later come to the realization of investing further with part of it, for a longer sustainability for gambling, because we are going to be placed with the opportunity of having an additional source of income, thereby our bankroll will always remained replenished as we gamble, because we already invested and spend the winning wise and also enjoyed having fun.
