We usually hear folks saying :
“Crypto is risky “
What if I lose my money?
“It’s better to just wait and watch”

The truth is that there’s no risk free investment, though I understand that most folks are like that due to unfamiliarity(not knowing how things works in this space ) . But this is where learning comes in (there’s no shortcut in becoming successful) . Because the only way to flow with things in this space is having the right knowledge.

Due to fear of taking risk a lot of folks as missed a lot of opportunity ( but be mindful with the kind of risk you take ) ,and a lot folks are still going to keep missing it , like me then I was aware of bitcoin during the time the price range was around $9k also , but I hesitated to take the bold step of buying then because is scared of losing or taking risk ( also due to not having the proper knowledge) . May be if I had taken the bold step then I would have been more profitable compare to now , this crypto space is fill with amazing opportunity and most folks are sleep on them.

Yea crypto is risky, same goes with doing nothing especially in country inflation is rising and opportunities (jobs opportunity) are shrinking . So take the bold step and start your bitcoin accumulation nothing is too small , start building and learning now , more the knowledge more you able to grab any opportunity that comes your way in this crypto space ,but always remember to be mindful with the kind of risk you take  and always apply proper management in all you do .

For Bitcoin, we have already passed that stage where you need to worry about anything concerning risk. As long as you are going in with what you can stay without for a long period of time, you are good to go.

But in general, if you want to make investments in anything and your mind is not made up for it, I will advise you never to force it; it's better you don't force yourself to take a risk that might end up leaving you in regret.

Normally, if you're only considering the risk, you might just keep waiting without getting single thing done at all. Crypto is risky we all know but we still have a lot of persons that are making it well from it. It's the same thing with literally all other sectors. the fear that they will soon go obsolete is there but people are still doing well in those sectors.

Taking of risk is the only way we are guaranteed of a positive result even though the possibility of failure is very certain. The thread created by the OP isn't just a regular thread. While reading, I was literally picturing two different scenarios/case studies that could be denoted and emphasized on...
1. A case where someone fears taking a risk, and
2. A case where someone has realized that failing to take a risk was a big mistake, and choose not to do anything about it.

Without necessary repeating what has been said, I guess the OP and majority for the replies has talked about that number one, but you see the number two, it is the most dangerous thing to ever involve yourself in. It is just like crying over a spilled milk. One major problem about people, is that after missing out from something, they don't sit to ask themselves "what is the way forward".

I can remember making a very big mistake few months back, as a result of not trusting my own instinct. I literally feared the risk attached, only to see a massive turn around before my own eyes. This is what happens all the time when we procrastinate, we miss certain things. But in terms of bitcoin longtime investment, I don't think it is procrastination but uncertainty of the future price yet it still gets there to claim ATH. I have read some thread too where the price was speculated higher from the previous and it later touched there. So we hardly want to take that risk because of the uncertainty and the amount of money that will be tied down.

The are actual two fears therefore, they are what will happen if the price doesn't get to my profit point or what if the price comes crashing.

Taking calculated risks is very important when it comes to crypto and in order to do that you must seek information first...if you are all about taking risks and giving attention to gaining knowledge then you risks might not be productive...there are people that have been taking risks but because they are not knowledgeable enough this risks keeps going sideways..
