w
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

If you have fear that downloading and installing it then take a look cause I really need extra space in my dropbox by referral. All it needs is your email and one install.

Meh, real men use Wuala. They even accept Bitcoin payments, btw.

(sorry otherwise, already got a Dropbox account, even though I don't use it much)

Wuala is hardly better than Dropbox and it's not even getting close to Ubuntu One for that matter..

Depends how much you value your privacy. I don't know about Ubuntu One, but Dropbox technically has access to all the files you upload to them, while Wuala encrypts them on your PC so they can't read what you store on their servers. And you can't pay for storage with BTC @ Dropbox Wink It's a bit hard to find though, so here it is: http://wuala.com/en/bitcoin

You can encrypt files yourself and keep them at dropbox folder. That's private.

But not exactly as convenient as having the encryption done by the backup software itself.
