The time of Memecoins has not ended because they have not cease to be getting listed but although the only thing that shifted from Memecoins are people because a lot of people are no longer ignorant of the risk, so actually I believe if before the lovers of Memecoins was 100 percent but now I'm not even sure if is up to 40 percent of people who buys it, however SOL is not a Memecoins but an altcoin and definitely those who says they make profit from it consider it a coin they have been dreaming of while others who prefer a better one do not see it as something with such importance, so the only coin that's worth that is Bitcoin.

I would say don't dream on SOL like a meme. Because Solana is a chain, it's not a meme like Trump. No doubt Solana is a potential coin, but it's not going to give you thousands of x. We have heard a lot of stories about how people become millionaires from the meme coins. But the problem is we don't know which meme coin would pump this way to make you millionaires. Likely you have to invest in a meme at the beginning before the pump, which means you have to gamble. All potential meme coins you have to choose since anyone could pump hard.

For me, I am not a meme lover because I really don't like to gamble with memes. I just like to invest in top potential coins. Even I leave all the shitcoins, even if they are potential. Because I lost a lot from shitcoins. So now only focus on top altcoins and Bitcoin as well. At least not going to lose all money like shitcoins or scam coins.

Meme coins do not end but their era of life is when they enter a cycle, but unfortunately the number and types of memecoins that are so many will make it difficult for you to find which one can give 100x plus the increasing ease of making memecoins makes scammers able to make it worse. There is no advice I can give about meme coins because in the end you just need to gamble at the casino, both are not much different right?

Memecoins are for short term and goes with the hype, it's not the end for them they're just waiting for the big coins to move before they move on their own, usually you'll notice it when Bitcoin pumps the altcoins follows but sometimes, with hype and shills certain meme coins do pump excessively. I would not say you need SOL and dream but I'd rather go with "All you need is Bitcoin and a dream"

Memecoins are fun to play with and having liquidity pools based in Solana can even make them profitable when Solana is going up. The ride from $8 to $250 was something… Unfortunately, now the market has been seeing the price drop as all these memecoin owners cash out their liquidity to get paid. It’s a downward feedback loop and it’ll take something big to write the ship. Maybe a Solana spot ETF will reignite memecoins, but outside of their liquidity pools, memecoins don’t have much value. They’re still better than NFTs though, which will probably all become worthless and with no liquidity pools people won’t even be able to sell them.

yes, but my answer is completely biased out of my hate for trash memecoins.

Memecoins are infested with scammers and money laundering giants. So they are not going to go away soon. They are similar to a NFT. The NFT market took off because of these kinds of criminals and now memecoin market is heating up. In a few days something else will come in which will give you similar amount of profits that NFT and memecoins used to give. There's no end to this madness.

Something goes down and something new comes in. That's the reality of this unregulated market.

I think a few traders are partially doing that (trading altcoins and memecoins) but majority of them are doing the opposite, they are turning $10k, $20k and $50k  to $200 or $5. I saw a post on x last year where a trader cried out after being liquidated by one memecoin he was trading. He is not the first person it has happened to but if you research about it, you will discover there are many people that did very well in the opposite way.  Trading is not a get rich quick scheme, it will take time before you succeed but if you have a short term breakthrough, it you luck and if you are not careful and financially wise, you will still spend that money in feeding the market liquidity.

You are correct, I see many new memecoins still getting listed. I believe the hype is gone compare to how the hype was in the year 2024.

It's a dream, you won't reach from $200 to $10,000 those who do are the owners themselves or relatives who make the meme.
Who knows that the meme pump will fly thousands of times? Except for insiders, right? Only a few people can do it while you assume you won't be able to do it.

Memecoins are purely 100% gambling and that's how it should be considered for anyone walking into the so-called memecoins investment charade. It's not mostly about getting in early from the beginning before a pump. I think this was easy back in the years with few listed memecoins but now was having about thousands and you can't just know which you can profit from even if you got in early.

I think these are past glories where meme coins will give you 100x your investment within short period of time, now I don’t think even 10X is possible in most of these newly launched coins now that’s why the crypto space is not as it was before, no one is rushing things again, every trader is always cautious of what coin to invest in and how to get out of the trade as quick as possible because there is no more guarantee of gains in the market.

As a newbie, the dream of making it once or within a very short period of time should be kept aside, you need to learn, when the season comes, you will enjoy if you have the knowledge you will require to trade and make profit. Knowledge is important.

Have you also seen screenshots of some memecoin traders whose initial asset value of $1k has become $100 or $10?
Although there will be more memecoin traders who only enter with small amounts, there may be some who enter with large amounts. When more traders lose because it is difficult to get profit from memecoin, then traders will also eventually leave memecoin and switch to stronger assets.

Memecoins do not really have a season per se, most of them just come as they wish and vanish into thin air again after accomplishing their missions. But it is also not deniable that memecoins are mostly prevalent during the time of the bull market. The times are not over and you should expect them to come again very soon since the bull period is still active.

Most especially, waiting for them in the time of the alt season which is still been anticipated for to see people turning few dollars into large amounts of money. Although, the market has well been saturated and we get to see people not investing in most of this altcoins as before, they’re very calculative and most especially don’t invest in where they can’t reap good profits from. The memecoin season will come but our expectations on them as they use to be as before should reduce this time around.

If you still keep this dream until these days, then I assumed that you are still day dreaming. Solana is good and quite profitable as well, but for now it’s impossible to expect some massive profits from it when you are trading. Even with those meme coins, these kind of profits have probably gone for years. Except for highly potential meme coins, as they can really turn us massive if we are also aware what are those coins are.

Now, the problem is, everything about meme coins have remained unstable and unpredictable. They can be profitable today, but the rest of the days turn out to be a nightmare for meme coins. Good thing SOL is not a meme coin, but still you have to trade on it with high caution.

I don’t really know if meme coin era has ended or not, because am not always paying attention to them, I don’t invest in meme coins because the risk are just high, and if you are not lucky, you just going to be losing frequently, and you won’t really be making much money always, so since am not really interested in meme coins, I don’t pay much attention to them.

Most people that are always investing in meme coins are the ones that are looking for quick money, they believe they can easy multiple their money if they invest in meme coins, but most of them don’t even think about the risk involved it, and the ones that know about the risk, they do ignore it. Have seen some investors and traders being recked just because they went into meme coins.

The market is currently down, I won’t say it’s only meme coins that are not performing well right now, I don’t see any coin pumping now, so i will say it’s a general problem, but I don’t think meme coin era is already gone, when the market stabilize, then we are going to start seeing new projects again.

We don't know if the era of memecoins have ended already. Because there is no movement anymore to most of them. And as Bitcoin goes down, the price of everything is going down as well. The narrative of memecoins likely have ended already and as for the dream of SOL chasers, you need to know what you are up to and the plans that you're getting. Because if you're not going to do anything at all when everything is cheap, you're going to miss the next run. So, if you ever plan to have a SOL, DCA as well and don't engaged with memecoins anymore.
