Hey everyone,

I’ve been lurking this forum for years, soaking in the knowledge, watching the ups and downs, and dreaming of building something meaningful with Bitcoin. Life threw me off track — hard. I won’t dive into a sob story, but let’s just say when you lose everything, you get clarity on what really matters.

Now, I’m back. Focused. Hungry. Learning every line of code I can. I’m teaching myself how to build Bitcoin tools from scratch — no bootcamp, no budget, just me, the blockchain, and a busted laptop.

This community has always been a lighthouse for me. I’ve seen generosity here not just in coin but in code, support, and belief. I’m not here to beg — I’m here to build. I’ve got a few ideas cooking that I think can actually help people in this space. All I ask is that if anything I say resonates, you reach out, connect, or maybe follow along.

Bitcoin saved my future. One way or another, I’m going to return the favor.

So what exactly are you trying to build? Your story can be inspiring to a lot of people, but if we're talking about developing a project as a community, we need to know what we're working with. Are you trying to build a new wallet? Are you trying to improve the protocol, build a new block explorer, or something else? Even building a custom tool for this forum is quite helpful too imo.

Thank you for the thoughtful response — I really appreciate you taking the time to ask instead of just scrolling past.

Right now, my main focus is learning the Bitcoin and Lightning stack from the ground up — no shortcuts. I’m not trying to “revolutionize” anything overnight. I’m trying to earn my stripes by building small but useful tools that solve real problems and help real people.

I’ve got a few project ideas brewing:
   •   A lightweight Lightning onboarding app for beginners (especially in underbanked communities)
   •   A basic P2P BTC trading tool for no-KYC environments
   •   Eventually, I’d love to work on privacy-first features or plugins that can bolt onto existing wallets or block explorers

That said, I’m also open to building something for this forum or contributing to an existing open-source project. The point is — I’m not just here to talk. I’m here to build, learn, and contribute, even if it starts small.

If there’s a problem you’ve seen that needs solving, I’d genuinely love to hear it — sometimes the best ideas come from just listening.

Again, thank you — it means a lot.
