Economy is something related to governments, central banks and responsible authorities for economic regulations nationwide and worldwide. Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto with no ambitious target to fix any national economy or global economy. It was created only to give people another option to store their wealth, make transactions with better control, be their own banks, and get more privacy through transactions on Bitcoin blockchain.

But then it has evolved, like store of value, sound money and obviously a investment vehicle to most of us. So today there are countries that looks into Bitcoin as their national reserve so it is what it is, as you have said, it could be a economy power soon.

However, it will still remain as what Satoshi wanted it to be despite how it evolved in just short amount of time.

The first time I read about Bitcoin was by pure chance in a forum that had nothing to do with cryptocurrencies, investments or money in general, and I remember that I thought: what's that? It caught my attention but there was very little information in my native language and it was a time when I didn't have any money left for experiments, unfortunately.

I have thought many times what could've happened if at that time I had financial stability or if I had found this forum. Anyway, I'm happy because never is too late and some years after I managed to recover some of the time lost, thanks to Bitcointalk to a large extent.

You need to understand a lot of things to understand why we need bitcoin, and it's true even I came into bitcoin for the returns then here on the forum I gained vast knowledge about economics, banking system, finances and how all these things are controlled and how they all are affected and the inflation rate, central banks and the list goes on and on.

You will never run out of content when you are curious to learn, and all these things are not really relevant to the profits we can make from Bitcoin Investor.

When I knew about bitcoin wasn't exactly when I gave it the attention I do give it today. It took me a long period before I had to get involved to know more about it. Now am glued.

Bitcoin is a currency which serves as money though decentralised. So whoever that has large quantities of bitcoin could be said to have some level of economic power. Because contrasting this to the bitcoin whales, seeing how they most times manipulates the bitcoin market due to their large sums of bitcoin ownership.

Many of us here in the forum heard about bitcoin back then and didn't take it serious because of lack of bitcoin knowledge and don't appreciate decentralization. Initially, when I heard about bitcoin before covid-19, I thought that the only way to benefit from it was through trading. Having have zero knowledge about trading and the lack of financial strength discouraged me.

This was how I didn't pay much attention on bitcoin. However, becoming a member of this forum opened my eyes to see the potential in bitcoin and how to invest easily through DCA.

Op I don't know if you are asking us to share our bitcoin story or asking to explain what bitcoin is because you texts in the thread are unlikely.
However, bitcoin has a multipurpose potentials as a digital asset which we can invest on, trade on and also using it for alternative form of payments like the fiats.
It holds a reliable hedge of values against inflations.

When you say economics, what do you mean, studying accounting and trading commercial goods?

Is that is what you mean, then you are more in a centralized system all the while, and if you want to trade bitcoin just know that it risky for beginners like you, the best thing for people at your level is to buy bitcoin and hold in your decentralized wallet with private key's, dont act on any thing other than staying to your target which should be a long term targets

It just surprises me though that you learn Bitcoin from trading? I bet most of us here learn it as a payment or a speculative assets. Perhaps as time goes by, Bitcoin really had made a progress (if you can call it like day), as it has become a investment for most of us.

So just go thru this community and for sure you will learn a lot of here. Remember that once, Satoshi was in this community and so I suggest that you search about him and read his posting. Or for starters, read his white paper, you will find it everywhere.

I was introduced to Bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme. But it became clear that it was misinformation because many people were scammed in my location, after they were tricked to buy some worthless shitcoin as Bitcoin.  I had to lose interest in the crypto industry thinking it was filled with basically fake projects.  Someone introduced the forum to me and opened my eyes to the truth of the crypto space. It was clear that Bitcoin was the number one coin, and my time in the forum exposed me to almost everything I needed to navigate the crypto industry.

I feel bad, when I see that people are expecting bitcoin to  fix some economic issues and even if it was possible for bitcoin to do so which I think it’s already doing so by providing more opportunities for people(mostly the youth) don’t know for other countries but in my country, bitcoin has given alot of people more opportunities from trading, to p2p vendors and even forums earnings like this without having to depend on the government it that doesn’t mean we should expect bitcoin do all the things that are expected of the government to do which is I think it’s mounting so much pressure on bitcoin.
Bitcoin is already serving its purpose and even though people are focused more on making it an asset than simply a means of payment while maintaining privacy and regardless of that, I would saying bitcoin is doing well.

I typically knew of bitcoin as at the era when Ponzi schemes was very alarming in my country and bitcoin as at thrm, seem more like a Ponzi scheme not different from the ones that were present at the time but regardless, I would say a big thank you to the forum because it shaped and broaden my knowledge about bitcoin and truly bitcoin is the future.

Majority of us here didn't know the potential of bitcoin and initially,  thought that trading is the only way that you can make profits from bitcoin. That made me scared of bitcoin because I know that i don't understand trading and wouldn't want to learn it. This kept me away from bitcoin for a few years until I met a friend who told me that buying and hodli  bitcoin is the best. He explained little to me before I joined this forum. This forum made me to know that bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme but a long term asset for the future.

When I knew about Bitcoin I thought it was a get rich quick scheme, I thought it was centralized but later discovered it was decentralized. later I still though it was going to a replace fiat due to its value or volatility compeard to Fiat, infact I thought about many things. But after doing research and navigating the forum, I discovered that Bitcoin was originally created to function as an alternative to fiat, can also be used as a store of value, can be used for online payment or transaction, Can also be used for trading. Infact Bitcoin offered alot of options that is profitable to humans which can not be overemphasize. But despite all that it can't still replace Fiat, both will work side by side.

First, I learnt about Bitcoin as a medium for trading currency, and alternative means of transaction, then i was not aware that a plate like this really existed. But I am glad to be here, now I have come to understand that Bitcoin is more than I thought. Bitcoin is one of the safer or secured  media for transactions, and provides alternative means for crypto exchanges, thereby  enabling users to again full control over their access.

Though everyone has their own terms for Bitcoin depending on how it was introduced to you, but I will say, there are lots more to learn about Bitcoin especially for someone who is new in the system, it weighs more than you and I imagine it be.
