I cant agree that winning can ruin our life, winning may increase or trigger our greed but still losing is the one that may ruin our life.

True. Winning is a good thing, it doesn't ruin people life. The greed is actually the problem that ruins people life. Whenever the winning makes us to be greedy, it is the beginning of the problem.

Your example is clear that someone can ruin their life after winning because he is betting bigger but lose it all eventually, so basically losing is the one that ruin someone's life.

If people only win gambling 1 time, I don't think it will trigger to be greedy. They probably become greedy after they win several times. But they don't understand that it doesn't guarantee anything. Even if we already won several times, it doesn't mean we probably win again in the future. It is not impossible that there will be no winning again in the next attempts. Always remember that winning in gambling is mostly caused of the luck factor.

The thing is that winning comes to completely different players and does not choose who of them is dependent and who is not. And when it comes to a reasonable player who understands how to use this winning and has thought everything out in advance, everything will be fine with him with a high degree of probability. I have come back from a very deep gambling addiction so I know how terrible it is. Spending all your salary on gambling was a very bad decision for you. You should never spend money on gambling that you will lose a lot or that you will not be able to manage. However, since you have understood these issues and have come back from there, it is definitely a good sign for you and from this lesson you will be able to refrain from such activities in the future. You were able to come back from here because you have responsibilities to your family and some other things. I don't really care how anyone goes about their winnings but it is very important to win bets because it gives you more courage in your subsequent bets but there is a very foolish behavior that most gamblers do exhibit after winning and that is the feeling of pride and calling themselves experts or experienced gamblers thereby trying to persuade others to follow up with their bets and giving betting tips to other gamblers which fails in most cases. If you win in gambling just see it as luck and not begin to claim that you are an expert, that is where i have problem with such people but what you do with your winnings or how you go about it is not really my problem, if you like stake all your winning amount in a single bet it is your choice and only you will bear the consequences of any reckless decision you take with your winnings.

I read similar topic as this concerning a gambler who lavishly spend his money on re-betting and friends but no one could help when he needed money, I can’t find the link although this topic is kind of related because it talks about winning. Actually if we do try to look at on the probabilities about on how someone could potentially affect himself negatively with gambling then it could potentially happen in between two side like when you are winning then it would be that normal that you would be thinking that you should be playing up more because you do have those thoughts that you can actually made out even more winnings or simply you had turned out to be greedy once you do able to experience out these kind of conditions on which this is something that you would be having in mind at the time that you are winning.
