Is Solana still a good investment for 2025?

Solana, like other strong altcoins, has shown impressive performance since last year and could potentially offer higher profits than Ethereum or BNB in my view.

ETH and BNB is already way over priced in my opinion although ETH is still lacking behind and hasn't reached its ATH but it's showing weak price action in the daily and weekly chart.
So it's no wonder that solana can be more profitable than these two.

Personally i stacked sol and have been restaking it hoping the APR generated can be multiplied through capital gain.
Could be the best decision or the worst decision, but at least i'm trying.

ETH has a higher value than in BNB but if you think ETH still lacked on something, then you shouldn't say it is overpriced. Maybe you are not aware yet of the latest move of ETH. I do not know if they won't still fill that lacking some people think they have but for sure this is not the end. ETH have still reached a lot of ATH in the past but maybe it is also possible that you are only referring on the current cycle. They might reach it when their updates are done.

As for BNB, I don't know what they are up to but they also have a lot of potential, due to the fact that their value is still smaller than ETH. We don't know if SOL can sustain its performance, so it is also a good idea to have some back-ups and ETH and BNB can be among it.

Well now there is a good chance that a Solana ETF does get approved in this year. It is 88 percent chance that this does happen. And I do think we will see some big gains when that does.

I’ve seen a lot more ecosystem growth especially in areas like DeFi, NFTs and GameFi. In 2024 the network’s uptime has been solid especially since they implemented upgrades like Firedancer a new validator client. It’s too early to say the problem is permanently fixed but there’s been visible progress. I’d say Solana has a lot of potential if you’re thinking long-term. Of course it’s still crypto so there’s always volatility and risk but in terms of real-world adoption and technical improvements, Solana’s heading in the right direction.

I can't really speak for if Solana is a good investment on it's own, but it's blockchain is providing some interesting investments.  With 60 stocks now trading on Solana in tokenized form, you are able to provide liquidity pairs between the S&P 500 and Bitcoin for example, or Tesla and AMD, etc...  There are many options that allow you to in the case of AMD/Tesla, earn income from holding stocks that otherwise don't pay any sort of dividends or income.  This is a bit of a game changer and it remains to be seen how popular it gets, but it is something worth looking into.

It has become clear that Solana network is solid enough to hold its own in a volatile and highly competitive market. I believe Solana's success was a direct result of the decline of the Ethereum network's market position and its long period of development issues, some of which remain unresolved to this day. Solana was able to gain significant market share, becoming a real competitor to a giant project like Ethereum, which may have deepened the Ethereum crisis.

Now in terms of Investing in Solana, holding Solana, staking Solana, or holding Jupiter Staked SOL are all very promising long term holds. Memecoins made Solana very well known to the public eye.

Do not hold any memecoins, and do not trade any memecoins. You will get burned and farmed by insiders and botters.

Congrats to Solana on their spot ETF approval.  I see that SSK had itself a nice opening day.  I think investors will flock to staking ETFs and that will certainly benefit Solana.

This has been a hell of a week for SOL.  First they list 60 real stocks on the chain, and now they get an ETF...  I would say they are definitely the big winner of the week.  The ability to provide liquidity with a Bitcoin / S&P 500 liquidity pool has me feeling like going full shitcoiner.  At least with my free cash flow.  I'd never swap my BTC for SOL, but buying wBTC with cash on the Solana chain and pairing with the S&P 500 is a no brainer.

the development is happening at the cryptography level, not the blockchain level. So while it's not a 2024 issue claiming any chain is currently "more secure" against it isn't correct.

For me, Solana remains one of the best long-term investments in the crypto space. Regardless of what happens in the market, it stays a top priority for my DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) strategy because it has already proven so much in the crypto world.

Apparently ethereum is still on research phase to prepare for a countermeasure against quantum computing, but I expected most of L1 will take time to upgrade, it seems like they are still focused on scaling and privacy these days.
Honestly though, I don't really think quantum computing will be a threat at least until 2030 as stated by nvidia CEO.

My dear, crypto currencies are highily volatile and risky for investment especially if you're a beginner with less knowledge or you're ignorant due to greeds you make yourself over the projects.
If you don't know, all crypto Coins are as volatile as experiencing bear market if not at it dynamicways, it'll follow its historical market performances.
Solana is good to hold for a long term due to the eligibility potentials of the project while I'm not making it an option for you.
Considering how you're just getting started in the space, investing on bitcoin will be better due to it less risks on volatilities with potential properties that gives investors reliance to hold values in the long time.

Solana's survival through FTX and multiple network failures is impressive i'll give you that. It's earned its spot, but "no matter the year you can invest" feels like dangerous advice

The Solana ecosystem is also bustling with activity from dex users and even the numerous developers involved in deploying altcoins within the Solana ecosystem. This proves Solana is a worthy investment. The existence of a Solana ETF could also present a significant profit-generating opportunity. Solana is good investment for 2025 where market just started to heat up, it's still good investment for 2026 but only if you able to handle drawdown of -70%



The potential for solana to go back at that price is pretty big. but, probably won't happen with ETF.
