you might get frustrated but i think that there’s nothing unusual here that would signal that something would have shift already i think this kind of movement is just normal and has happened before so no need to be anxious about it

Feels like it always does, sometimes up, sometimes down & very often low volatility. In all seriousness it is the time that every four years Bitcoin starts its most exciting move. We should soon begin to have fun celebrating a rapid rise that makes all time highs. Don’t be like a rabbit in headlights though, it will reach a point where we have a blow off top before entering a bear market. Sell some when everybody is going crazy, predicting 400k a coin or something silly.

New here?  This happens all the time.  And when all people lose hope, it finally starts showing signs of life.  You need to calm yourself, it is another asset and it does not GUARANTEE that it will make it like it used to every single time.  In fact, it does not even guarantee success at all and no asset is really going to be sky rocketing forever.

Lucky for me I bought more bitcoin when it dropped to 100K, at almost the bottom.

That was right after I learned the Governor of Texas signed the bitcoin reserve bill into law.

Same here, I just got this gut feeling that within few weeks there will be massive rally after breakout. Bitcoin strangely feels powerful when the war escalate and can contain the panic sellers, not long after the ceasefire news the price going back up again, as if there's something going on here.
I won't be surprised if suddenly BTC have a flash pump though. Speaking from the price action though if BTC can close above $108k possibly chasing liquidity at $111k then market will turn very bullish.

We're just waiting for the big move.

short termers are scared and selling while bitcoin is ranging. Long termers (these days that's mostly institutions) are buying up bitcoin by the truck load. Look at companies picking up thousands of bitcoin a week (some weeks tens of thousands) to add to their treasuries, and the ETFs picking up tens of thousands of bitcoin weekly.

Basically, a supply shock is coming. Institutions are eating a buffet of bitcoin while prices remain range bound. Price is gonna eventually break upwards at which point the retail market / short term people are gonna realize there is way less bitcoin in the market than there was a few months ago as they start buying at higher and higher prices to not miss the pop upwards. Price probably zooms up to $120k's this summer, maybe even over $130k.

For the couple years since the bear market ended, every roughly half year the price pops up and then is range bound for another half year. It's been about half a year since the last jump up, and supply is being sucked up with prices going sideways..I think we'll see the next jump up soon.

Also right now there are it seems multiple companies EACH eyeing ~billion or multi-billion dollar purchases (Metaplanet alone is talking about making a $5B purchase). If those companies all buy in the next few weeks we could see like 100k bitcoin taken out of the market very quickly just from a handful of companies. It is definitely feeling like we are getting close and closer to the dam breaking and having the price pop up to the next level.

what will happen next ? i have little knowledge about bitcoin.  from my point of view  i guess bitcoin value will increase within a couple of month that will be really huge.

It looks like you are still someone new in the Bitcoin market, but this kind of thing happens every other time in the different cycles of the market. During such a period the market moves sideways and is usually in an accumulation phase ready for a big move in the near future. It could either go up so hard or downwards. This sideways market is the most boring kind of market for most traders, and it can go on for months, making Bitcoin look like a stablecoin until one day it makes a surprise move. Just make sure you are there on the day it happens.

I am completely new to Bitcoin. But I am studying a lot about it. I am very interested in becoming an expert in Bitcoin. I want to create my own position in crypto.I consider Bitcoin as a long term safe zone to convert my income into wealth.So now I have a question  based on what you said  that is why do the prices of Bitcoin and other currencies fluctuate? Price must change with time but it can be either fluctuation or wildly volatile change and by rasing this question, do you think of why a market is interesting with people who are in it or who want to join it?

It's chance of getting profit by market volatility and Bitcoin market is more volatile than stock market so it is more attractive than stock market in the young generation. The old generation, the elderly are more careful with new technologies, new investment asset like Bitcoin and they missed the train. A lively market basically needs to have price change and if any market does not have it, it's a dead market that is not attractive with anyone.

Once the resistance to this breakout has been overcome, then we may launch into all time high above the previous ones, but for now, we should just take it as it is, while some already have interpreted this period as a preparatory ground for the take off of the market bullrun to hit the target for all time high, why we should still have more confidence in these is because of the way the market has been fallen and yet raising resistance to the fall and it has not been left bearish, despite the fall it experience, there is always a great supporting level backing on every fall.

Nothing weird about its movement since its normal to see those situation.

Also what you expect will not always happen so if you can't do trades and confuse about its movement then you have an option to hodl your Bitcoin since this is more better to do with this coin.

Trading is risky and for sure that you already feel that base on what you have said in this thread. So better choose the less evil and make yourself away from stress. For sure that lots of people would suggest you to buy and do DCA since this is been done by many people with their Bitcoins.

Again how do you identify a break out.. TA right? Yeah on a normal, a break out signals sellers decrease at a resistance zone so everyone buys to force the sellers into buying as well which put upward pressure on the market  but for the current market, I’m not seeing a breakout yet if you trace it down from last ATH I could be wrong (dyor). On the other hand, Btc market isn’t that predictable aswell

Well, you were straight to the point by stating the obvious fact and that is the potential of Btc failing just as any other altcoins may at any given time. The only thing that is guaranteed is ones investment and the duration of profit taking, else, why does one bother to invest if the risk isn't worth it.

Nothing is certain, but hopefully, with the level of accumulation by institutional investors and the relatively peaceful political and economic global environment, the price might shoot up. The next Fed meeting is in September, and it might be the perfect time to cut interest rates, which might be good for the market.

Trading is not for the weak and ignorant. The market is volatile, so the analysis might not turn out as predicted. Trading is. It is also suitable for newbies since it's complex. DCA will be the perfect strategy for those who intend to keep their coin for a long time.

What feels strange may be that you think the price should be way higher given that you have Saylor and all the rest of new Bitcoin Treasury companies buying and holding BTC, plus all the buying from the ETFs and so on, you start thinking, what if they are selling paper bitcoin, manipulation of sorts, like how can an asset with a strictly limited in amount not go up with all this buying, well there may be some manipulation, but that would be temporary, same as if it's real selling, perhaps a lot of whales are selling their coins to institutions, so once they are done selling the price will go up, it's just a waiting game.

What weird? Come on bitcoin movement has been like this for a long time, no one can predict for sure where it will go next, I think even if you are new to the market, I'm sure you have learned a little about bitcoin and understand that bitcoin fluctuates, so there nothing strange, all you have to do is buy, buy, and hold. Bitcoin was not created to get rich quick.

Whatever the market is doing now has been replicated many times in the past.

The nature of the market is one of "volatility" its a feature and nothing to get
worried about and its going to be unpredictable to try and forecast a movement in
the short term.

Best advice I can give is to prepare for the best case scenario and if it goes wrong
just HODL because that will change too to the uptrend!
