since two matches were canceled this weekend (due to snowfall), many participants still have a chance to win the matchday...
buwaytress has currently taken the lead in the table, knocking LTU_btc off the top spot
it is not yet clear when the two games will be rescheduled...

Well another calm, quiet and not good round for me in this pool, im in the average of points for this round plus i dont lose any position but damn is a long time without having a decent or good round for me.

I am quite sure there would have been several missed deadlines today if there wasn't a timely tag Bundesliga rarely has midweek fixtures and I was surprised to see them when making ticket this morning. Both to score in all games would suit me just fine

Yes, games on Tuesday and Wednesday are a clear trap, especially for those celebrating the Orthodox New Year today 
I was surprised when I saw the tag from the cygan (thanks a lot). Just in case, I made predictions for the other pools as well, there are actually too many picks.
As for BTTS, in the last round 6 teams out of 7 did Yes, but in the round before that 6 teams out of 9 did No, i wonder if bad weather works in favor of Yes or No?

These past few weeks have been very hectic for me, and not only have I been dropping positions from the standings, I completely missed the timeline to submit my predictions for the first 3 matches of today, it might have been worse but since Leverkusen and HSV match got cancelled, it didn't get to 4 missed submissions.

Lets see what it have for us this Bundesliga midweek round, Just for the start we saw a really good win by Stuttgart against Eintrach Frankfurt in a very important duel to see which teams are gonna be in the next season european competitions.

It's actually one of the more tight pools I've seen, strange yeah? All I had to do was plug chatgpt into the kicktipp API and leave it on autopilot. So easy! I'm even using the version from 2023! wink wink

as on matchday #16, there was another match cancellation on this round (hsv - leverkusen), which means that we are once again unable to congratulate any participant on winning the matchday
this means that our 1st-leg-champion has also been postponed and the 0.0025 BTC will (most likely) not be sent to the lucky winner until february...
on this matchday, quite a few players were able to move up to the top two places, while i personally can't seem to get anywhere...

Thanks for the reminder, given the "strange" previous round it was really needed.
Taking into account the short break and the upcoming Champions League games, I will make a bold assumption that the scoring rate in this round will be lower than average. Personally, I'm interested in how Bayern will play against Leipzig (6-0 in the first match) and the Hoffenheim - Bayer game, where Bayer is not even the favorite. It seems that even a draw would be like a defeat for Bayer.

It really has been a good round for me, but I'm also in an uncomfortable position. In one round, I made the mistake of forgetting some matches and in round 17 due to internet problems I couldn't submit my picks for some matches. I think I would have climbed the rankings if that hadn't happened, so now I've saved the picks for the next two rounds so that doesn't happen again.

Good job Renato and Hoody! I'm not completely disgusted with myself. Was trailing 5 points at one stage but Uniom salvaging a late  draw at Stuttgart saved my ass since few others at the top picked it. LTU, like I said, we will be swapping positions for a while now eh.
