Well. You don't see the surprises when they do come, do you? Bayern lifting the title was never a question, but you'd think with Champions League aspirations they still needed to put the foot firmly down in Bundesliga. And then comes the "almost" gift from BVB. Had they lost, Bayern really could have gone for the treble without breaking too much sweat in the league as they would have been able to afford to lose four games. 11 minutes to turn 0 into 3.

But hey, BVB like to do things hard but Bayer getting nicked by bottom team isn't even a surprise these days, no?

This round didn't go as planned. I thought I can catch up with the players above me, but it looks like they are increasing their lead. There are only seven more rounds left and I have to start earning a lot more points to finish at least in the fifth place.

elche made a really good progress in this round. He climbed up four places with 18 points earned. Well done!

Good job elche, I thought I did all right, but looking at the table I got just enough to stay below, and just enough to stay on top. Not a great round at all, but can't complain, could have been worse. We're all bored out of our minds, right? Wirtz a different beast with Germany, by the way, bet he misses Bundesliga.

Good old me coming in here to check picks and for the first time in a long time, there wasn't any Friday match to kick the gameweek off.

Ignoring Freiburg, as need to catch up... but taking a slight risk for a draw with one of the big boys here. I have to catch a break, this is getting ridiculous, static at the top for weeks and now not budging at the middle for weeks.

that’s how bayern managed to score those three goals after falling behind 0-2 against freiburg:

with these three goals today, bayern has reached the 100-goal mark for the season, and there are still six matchdays left to play...

matchday #28 ended today with two draws and this time Fantomaz secured the entire matchday!
with an impressive 22 points, he claimed the matchday victory and climbed five places in the table - congratulations!

there was no movement at the very top... but with slackovic, there is now a new player who can also compete for the top spots!

Don't remember who it was, a football player? Golf player? In the 90s when I first heard something along the lines of when someone asked him how he did so well is, he just got lucky. But the harder he worked, he luckier he got.

Similar story last night with Barca's win, which eventually came off a lucky save that bounced off Lewandowski's chest into the goal. Lucky? Sure. But they worked their asses off for the win.

Yeah, I really managed to profit from the top players not getting much points. I'm very pleased with my 17 points (even though I was pretty far from Fantomaz - great job man) because now I'm officially in the rewards zone. I never thought that it will take only one round to get here. Now I need to fight hard to stay here or even to climb up.

in around 9.5 hours the 29th matchday in the bundesliga starts with the game augsburg vs. hoffenheim and the battle for the top ranks begins again

Some really tricky ties, if I'm objective, and I'm so tempted to underrate Freiburg away, I gave in to my heart today.

This time since i dont have any to lose and also since SB is not longer here to give us the freebet for winning the round i decide to go with some not so ussual picks, so if end up in the bottom of the round is ok and also if i ended up at the best is because pure luck and not so much skill this time, a few results are clasics but in a few i go with underdogs.
