After Ledger announced that they will be phasing out support for the Ledger Nano S and retiring it soon, several companies used the opportunity to offer their devices at a discount. I have collected what I could find below:

Current discounts for hardware wallets:

  • Coldcard: Use promo code - "UPGRADELEDGER" to get a 10% discount at checkout.
  • Cypherock: Use promo code - "hardwarewallets" to get a 34.57% discount on the Cypherock X1.
  • D'CENT: One Biometric Wallet is 12% off, the 2x package is 24% off.
  • Blockstream Jade: Use promo code "RETIREMENTPARTY" to get 12% off on Jade and Jade Plus.
  • KeepKey: Use promo code "HARDWAREWALLET23" to get a discount on the KeepKey Classic.
  • Keystone: Use promo code "SNS" to get 25% off on the SNS co-branded Keystone 3 Pro. *Valid until Sunday at 12:00 UTC
  • Tangem: Use promo code "SUMMER10" to get a 10% discount on all purchases in the Tangem shop.

If you see similar discounts from other brands, don't hesitate to mention them below and I will add them to the list in the OP.

Not sure if this is related to Ledger case, but I found a few other hardware wallet offers that might be of interest:

D'CENT Biometric Wallet (2x Package). Currently offering $99 discount, bringing the price down to $219.00 (was $318.00).

Cypherock X1. On sale for $131.97 with the coupon code "hardwarewallets" regularly $199.

KeepKey One can apply the coupon code HARDWAREWALLET23 at checkout for a discount.

I am not sure if these offers are related to Ledger's decision to phase out the Nano S or not but it doesn't matter. I will add them to the list.

D'CENT currently offers discounts regardless if you buy one device or the 2x package. For one Biometric Wallet you get 12% off, for two it's 24%.
The Cypherock X1 is 34.57% off.
KeepKey automatically applies the discount code as soon as you enter their online shop. The percentages are probably different based on the destination.

This might be a bit too late since only a few hours are left [assuming that UTC will be used], but Bitkey is offering a 21% off until today with code LEDGER [source].

On that note, Tangem is offering a 10% discount with code SUMMER10 [not sure until when this promo lasts].

This was certainly a promotion created for this occasion. Hence the promo code "LEDGER". I would have included it in the list but since it's expired now, then it doesn't make sense to add it now.

On that note, Tangem is offering a 10% discount with code SUMMER10 [not sure until when this promo lasts].
This looks like a summer sale promo that has nothing to do with Ledger retiring the Nano S but I will add it to the OP.

Ledger has lowered the price for the Nano S Plus hardware wallet. This device used to cost €79 but the new price in the online shop is €49 or $59 depending on the location. I don't think this is a promo offer because they haven't announced it as such. My guess is this will be its new price from now on.

€49 is a good price for an entry-level model, as is USD 59
The Nano S Plus's direct competitor would be the Trezor Safe 3, which normally costs $79
$20 cheaper, but many consumers no longer buy anything from Ledger after the Recover Service controversy

I still have a Nano S that has been discontinued, but I only use it for BTC and will hold onto it for the long term, and my current wallet is a Trezor Safe 3

Despite being closed source and all the controversy, I have no complaints about my Ledger, but I know that most people here will not buy anything else from the company

Why this flashy device? Smiley

I'll take advantage of this thread instead of creating another one
Trezor has a good promotion for the Model One, only $24.50.  Shocked
Here. Buy the cheapest and most reliable hardware wallet that performs its functions. What else do you need to make a bitcoiner happy?Smiley

I still have a Nano S that has been discontinued, but I only use it for BTC and will hold onto it for the long term, and my current wallet is a Trezor Safe 3
And you seem to be an extreme fan. Smiley

Yes, of course, as long as this wallet has not turned out to be the "culprit" of your impoverishment, then what claims can there be? Smiley

Those who will not buy anything from this company will do the right thing, because why take unjustified risks, especially with a device that costs more (even with a discount) than a direct competitor.

It seems that in this case since you're strongly committed to using your Ledger device the compromise settlement might be using SEED extended with passphrase entered each time you want to access your stash ideally via 3rd party client like Sparrow, rather than the Ledger Live app. After all, no one really knows their length to reach sensitive info stored on Ledger device.

If you asked me, I would move all my bitcoin out of the Ledger and to the Trezor and use the Ledger only for altcoins. I would also use the Bitcoin-only firmware on my Trezor. I would sleep better with most (if not all) of my bitcoin on a Trezor nowadays. If you use altcoins, Ledger has greater support for those, regardless of the model. With Trezors, each model is different, and the Safe 3 combined with Trezor Suite might not support an asset you need.
