How rampant are scams on this forum?

So, I log in today and find this scammy PM. I wonder how actually common this is. Can I request this user banned until Sun is gone?

i wonder if this account has been hacked.

to admins and mods can you check if the person is sending out a ton of pms to people as he has not posted in so long.

You should be careful when dealing with strangers on the internet when the currency involved (crypto) cannot be reversed.

So i guess this topic is just about some reasons that are already known , and that Account is just find some way to gcompeted on the last seasont over that.
I suggest to ban that Account also if its clear that this one belongs to the same as he did in the past.
If that is the case here that Account is already known and try to obscures some things he should be banned.

It appears the person behind the account was targeting brand-new forum users who had just registered (as easily seen in the latest member part under the forum stats). This is another user complaining about a similar PM ---> Received this minutes after registering telegram. Make $

Luckily, the account has already been banned a few days back. It looks like he PM so many other members and got reported.

heck my coinbase account was leaked (no lost funds) but tons of my kyc is now on the dark web..

i get tired to keep my stuff protected on line.

still have to do it.

every online issue I have is due to lost kyc breaches.

hospitals
or crypto exchanges that i used were hacked and I get bothered on various accounts.

This is the best reason to avoid KYC and using your real name as much as possible. They can't leak what they don't have.

We just have to stay watchful on daily basis because there're more of those OG accounts which has either been hacked or owners has purportedly positioned the account (s) to do evil in forum by PMing others who might be sighted vulnerable and inexperienced in the forum especially newbies. Seems they keep tracks of new members of the forums because those are the categories of users they usually steps upon with their fraudulent intentions.
In as much this forum doesn't accommodate fraudulence, they'll always get on your PM believing it's the only convenience way to engage conversations with you since moderators and other users will always been active to dictate and obstruct their evil moves if make those phishing contents publicly visible.

So pathetic. Once Kyc is comprised online, security trusts becomes a worry because we either don't know what the scammers will go with next.

OP, PM is the target for fraudsters, they can do through PM.
In the future, anyone who gets a PM like that or suspicious from those who you don't know, immediately post here, don't do anything.

The funniest of it all is that if there should be offers like that, they were made openly and not to newbies that have little or no experience in the best strategies to use in marketing.

We got to know about this user because you reported about his case here, there are many other newbies, who have been scammed by related post like this, had it been he was confidence enough in what he is offering, he would have created a thread for it, but think he could easily attack newbies by sending PMs and taking them up off from the forum.

The moderators didn't do it alone. Oletiteb must have sent the unsolicited message to many forum users who inturn reported his account, which is why he was banned. Assuming no one reported, no action would have been taken as moderators don't know when unsolicited messages are sent through pm.

If the intent of the OP was to highlight highly dubious or scam behaviour against a specific member, he has achieved his goal. The name of the sender of the PM has been posted along with the content. As the drama inside the thread unfolds, a question has to be asked: where is the OP?

It's fantastic to see that the scammer have been banned. I didn't realize he had already been banned. Did I miss something, or is there no way to tell if a scammer have been banned?
