Is it worth buying sports tips from trusted tipsters?

I’m interested in your opinions and experiences regarding purchasing sports tips. Do you think it’s worth investing money in tipsters if you knew they have proven results? I know that even trusted tipsters cannot guarantee consistent winnings due to the unpredictability of sports events. But if there was a transparent website that monitored and ranked tipsters, showing verified results and high ROI, would you buy tips from them?

For me I don't trust them. I rather just analyse my own games and place my bets. It's risky anyways so it's can't always be certain that even the game given to you by  so called tippers would go to the expected wins.. well it's a personal choice if you choose to use the tippers for your bets. That's if you can trust them. But dit. Always believe all proven results that you see on the internet. Some might just be fake to lure you into paying money and likely scam you. I've not come across any website that monitors tipsters, it's usually on telegram groups that I see them often..

I personally would not buy tips ever. I think stats can be manipulated to show a winning record and the tipsters were betting on low odds events to boost the stats so IMO I wouldn't trust the sites. It is possible they made real bets with decent odds and have a 60%+ win rate, just not probable IMO.

In the end, if you think it's worth it it's your decision. I don't recall seeing anyone post on this forum they buy tips and are up thousands though.

Do you know of any site that provides such service and majority of their predictions will be right. Gambling is a luck based game and not by skill making it impossible for anyone to come up with predictions that will give you constant win in the long run. I would advise no one should pay any tipster money because gambling is for fun and not to make profits because you will end up in double losses. Losing your bet, and the money that you paid for subscription.

I feel that anyone who can come up with such predictions will already be wealthy with gambling and wouldn't need your little money for anything. Rather, they will keep it a secret and brag with it.

If I am a hardcore sportsbettor like for every bet I do like $500 to $1k and more, I'll try to do that and that money means almost nothing to me and I can spare them even if I lose my bets based from the tipsters. But to be honest, you've just answered your own question if you're trying to survey whether you'll buy one or not from them. Because the majority here will say that it's a big no and they'll only trust their guts, instincts and analyses for their own bets. And with the justification that you have, you're gonna get convinced from some to just buy it if you think you can ROI.

Sports bets are unpredictable, that's what I know. That's why it will be impossible for someone to claim of having track records of predicting correct games. Except that the person is an insider who is part of a match fixing cartel, I don't think they can give consistent winning predictions. I can visit some of these prediction platforms to compare my analysis but I would never pay for their services. If their tips are not free, they wouldn't attract me.

The bolded part is the answer to your question. If they proven result while your prediction itself is sucks and you want to bet on sports betting to have fun then availing it is not bad assuming that the premium is not that expensive to the point that it’s hard to have an ROI with small profit due to the expense on the premium subscription.

I acknowledge tipster since some skilled sports analyst have talent and do share their knowledge in exchange for payment.

If you can guarantee the proven result of this tipster then why not?

It’s a no for me. Just use the money yourself to bet. Think about it, how many people are obsessed and desperately want to make money from gambling? Definitely a lot, if not all, right? If buying picks from a tipster really made someone profitable, then why are the gambling houses still standing? Many would have already rushed to tipsters if that’s how it worked. Even if the service costs money, people would gladly pay as long as it meant guaranteed profit. After all, who wouldn’t want to be part of the winning side? No one.

I can't afford to waste my money on paid tips because there's no guarantee of winning. It will become a double to you when you lose. Most of these punters are not even knowledgeable enough when it comes to sports betting, people are just too desperate to win that's why they end up wasting their hard earned money on buying sports tips. There are channels that offer the same thing for free so what's the point?

Last time I did this it was a disaster, I don't advice anyone to do this because it's a waste of time and money...I prefer to analyze the games that I bet on Instead of purchasing tips from so called experts... bettors that pay for predictions are lazy, I say that because I was once in that position and it only caused more harm than good, it's better to stake and lose than to pay for tips and still end up losing.

Nobody (tipsters) does that aside from scamming innocent gamblers. Just imagine if they are telling the truth and could assure a win by using their tips. How come they will tell other people? They will be taking advantage of it instead. But because all of that transparency they show is fake, they will not take it for themselves. Instead, they used to fool other gamblers and put them in traps.

If I were you. Don't trust these people, but rather trust your instinct and analysis. Just think that in gambling, we rely on luck, not on these tipsters.

People who have bought such services has indeed confirmed that the ROI are real but where most people fail is to maintain the discipline. The ROI is on a fixed amount placed on each games but many people fail to do exactly that sometimes by placing larger bets or not being able to place one. These lack of disciplines makes your ROI different from theirs. Another thing that matters is you need to get back the investment you put on the Tipster, when you are placing lower bets, your ROI could be much lower.
There are also cheaper subscription groups who share paid tips to many for cheap fees. I had tried them once, the problem is I hadn't enough time to place bets on each event they asked to and many times the odds are not exactly the same when they post it. The odds also vary by the platform and when you place the bet.

Look on this situation following, copy/pasting someone else trades does not guarantee you success. Trading is less risky and more predictable than sports betting. You can use various methods, look on prices past and etc. But for example, such thing as athletes mood, how he slept this night, injuries, trading does not have all that to influence on the price. What information would sport tipsters would give you ? They would get it from same open sources as you would get them. I believe sports outcome prediction compared with price prediction, have more things that can influence on outcome.

Recently too much advertisement about this on social media and different channels with sometime back I also bought horse racing tips through one channel, but this was double below for me because I lost amount which I send to tipster, and I also have few big loses in chase case.
Here I completely agreed about this never trust anyone about these because now many software programs available while if someone is interested then he can go ahead with his own search and then can take chances instead of spending money on these fake and cheat tipsters.
Here on this forum few tipsters were doing good work and giving tips which works for members, but there is no consistency which always hurt and members ended on losing streak keep your own work and then go ahead always much better.

I have not seen for once any tipster that have proven records of consistencies in their predictions, so why wasting money on their subscriptions, when they cannot guarantee for what you are paying them for.

So if you ask me, i will say its not a good idea to use them, they don't worth our money being given, this is something we can on our own pick up the challenge and work things out for ourself, than relying on these tipsters for gambling tips, which we may not be confident in what they are giving.

It can be worth and it can be something not worth as well depending on some situations.
Worth if:

• The tipster service is proven to be great where it has decent winning percentage
• Your bet amount is much bigger than what have to spend to buy the tips or at least the possible winning outcome is more than what you spend to buy the tips

NOT worth if:

• You buy it from random tipsters with no good history which usually turn to really bad tips or even scam
• Your bet amount is smaller or you are just recreational sports bettor who spend few bucks only for each bet

All in all, there is no guarantee that tips from tipster will always be winning tips so be careful if there is an offer of guaranteed win or guaranteed profit.
For me myself, I will never buy tips from tipster as I'm not regular sports bettor because it wont worth for me.

It really depends on the tipster, but honestly, I don’t know any that are truly reliable or consistently make their followers profitable in the long run. At the end of the day, it’s your money so if you want to try, that’s your choice.

But if you're serious about growing in this space, relying on tipsters isn’t the way to go. It’s better to focus on developing your own skills and learning the game. Who knows, with enough effort and experience, you might actually succeed in the long run.

"Trusted tipster"  from the word itself, we can say that it is worth it because the word implies they are legit.  There is no argument for this.  But whether they are legit or not, we should always validate and double check, try to analyze ourselves what the tips are and why they tip it that way.  This way we can get the possible logic behind these tips and do it ourselves.

Remember tipster still rely on their analysis of the competing team, it is not 100% fool proof and is susceptible to error and miscalculation.

I highly agree, but people are too lazy to analyze and just rely on these so-called tipsters.  We cannot blame them because they might wanted to get profit from betting and yet they don't have the skill to analyze the possible outcome of the match thus they look for tipster and follow their tips.

I haven't tried that but some of my friends who did stopped their subscription because it was a waste of time, it just proves that there are no perfect tipsters and you're putting your money at the hands of these tipsters, I prefer to do my tips so even if I lose or win at least it's my own decision and I can improve my analysis to have a better score.
Other members are correct that stats can be manipulated to make these tipsters look good and sell their tips, and you will just waste your money to find out the truth.

I have never purchase sports tips, so I can't give any review.

Anyway, I check there are few sites that listing the tipsters including their stats, but I smell red flags because they show all of their tipsters in their first page are in profit. There's no way no tipster in loss.
