Frankly speaking I don't even know what to title this post that's why I had this as a title. Firstly I'm saying this even if I know it won't change a thing on the board but I believe it's worth saying. This board is damn too biased in merit sending and receiving. It obvious and anyone coming here to defend it is obviously part of it.  I've been out of smerits for a while now and I've been surfing around just to keep an eye on some deserving posts when my source gets refilled and I can see really good posts abandoned for no damn reason. Now we have 5 sources on the board what's the excuse?

Every now and then Nigerians complain about the government of the country and how bias they are but the fact is the average Nigerian is worse than they are the only difference is the opportunity to exercise that power..... I hope one day you guys allow the board to actually grow and stop farming accounts..

Just as you have exhausted your smerit it's probably the same way others did but the issue of sending to deserving post is very unfortunate that its quiet biased but time to time I still see some deserving and recieving as they deserve.

For example me, I have received few that I'm certain I deserved more than that, I guess it's because some of you have little portions for now.

Not to make an excuse for anyone but you all merit source should be in contact with each other to know how exactly you're operating the voluntary power you have.

Sincerely speaking your observation is not wrong but I want to know one thing, are you making emphasis on the LB members or to the LB merit sources because right now the LB merit sources are supposed to answer this question because they have the knife and the goat.

It goes well as nah merit source the raise this matter because if nah one small newbie now, nah plenty stones for some touch him skin. Till today I still the marvel how Oga CryptopreneurBrainboss been the do am way merits distribution from for the LB the go round touch both big and small in as much as your  post make quality touch. But now we have if not more than 4 merit sources but it be like the LB no get  sources at all.  @CryptopreneurBrainboss  nah man you be!

I know some merits sources way from our LB way the do giveaways of merits for general boards than doing that to quality posts in the LB as a way to encourage more quality.  I no go call name but Una knows Una sefs.

 People don really use this local board cash out on their ambition well well but when e reach to share the cake go round plenty clauses go com in.

The smerit is not enough at all for me. I did not know when I exhausted my smerits as I was giving more than 10 people merits when I became a merit source. I also saw some posts but I can not do up to what I am not capable of. My merit allocation got exhausted within 5 or 6 days, I was only distributing the one that I earned and I am currently at zero smerits in total.

OP let's call a spade 'a spade' your observations are not wrong, but should we keep up with the complaints without a solution? We are Nigerians and most of us here are still in our youthful age, it is the collective responsibility of everyone to make the local board better, I know that it's not easy to completely evacuate those with ill feelings and ulterior motives in the local board but however, nobody is a saint as we have our individual shortcomings in one way or the other, we are not perfect in this local board same as other locals. Few weeks ago I saw a thread where a merit source reported a member of his local board on why he questioned his style of meriting which is to say that as humans we will continue to disagree and agree. We are growing larger, let us focus on building a formidable force in the local board such that we will be envied by other local boards. I think it's high time we focused on other things rather than Merit issues. I have seen your merit history, it is evident that you are unbiased and I encourage you to continue. "A good name is better than great riches", I believe you were made a merit source due to your generosity in giving merits to posts with quality not only in the local board but the forum at large. Remember the merit system is not moderated hence we don't have to question anyone on how they spend their source merits and their smerits.

This observation you bring nah on point make I no lie. This issue of disbursing merits to relevant posts for the local board no be today e come up and if we dey honest, I believe say nah one of the reasons why more sources receive approval for this place.
I agree say the allocation no plenty but the little you get suppose touch your small Jerusalem first because charity nah pikin begins at home but wetin I observe nah say these merits dey usually abound for other places and sometimes to users wey be get am plenty too.

Op speaking out is good, because if I was in your shoe, I will do the same thing. Where merit sources are up to the numbers we have in this Lb, and it's now observed that only one person is giving out, the person will feel disappointed. I will keep saying it, what belong to everyone should be shared to the people. Allowing greed to set in will corrupt the system totally. Because I can't be the only source giving and others are not giving that source will feel cheated.

We don't say sources, give us 100% of your allocation to the community, we know as humans, we might have personal agendas and loyalists to settle. You can do 60/40 or 50/50. At least let it be visible that you sources are giving out merits freely and not just one person or doing it as the OP alledgedly pointed out. And Nigerian local board merit sources should try and spend their their allocated sMerits on our local board alone, and not take it elsewhere. Especially to those that were made local board merit sources. Not to go spend it outside and come tell us here that sMerits has finished. I would say you shouldn’t have to close the discussion like you did in the first statement in this quote. Understanding that there are different views and sides to an argument would really help us to understand better what might be at play.
I can’t claim to know or see the same, what do I know, I have only managed to get along here but, I have to speak from the stands of living an argument open as having to drop that ruling would only create a biased or filtered response from forum users and that would mean, we don’t get the best of solution which is a problem of its kind.

Every human has a side to them that makes us self centered, self sufficient and act in ways that only us might find reasonable. The difference is, some people have more than others and we hope we see how this could negatively impact us one day for a change.

What do we make of this reply and does it mean you are the only user in this LB that doesn't say trash?. Each of us are unique here, if you pass person for Bitcoin technical, the person fit pass you for politics or economics. Miachloe, I understand your concern, but I don't think much can be changed here. You can't always take away a gang without knowing the heads. The forum on its own is quite filled with many merit quads, but the highest number of them are on localbaords and not just the Naija local board, but all others.

The only thing I know is that niaja board does theirs without considering the fact that they can be caught by other forum members and questioned. At least we should be united, no one cares if you own a merit farm or squad, just don't be partial when giving out merits to the local boards.. If you did go through his profile you should be aware that as for the month of June Mia Chloe earned 65 merits from non Nigerians which gives him about 30+ smerits. If you learn how to earn merits, then you should know how to spend your smerit, from looking at his profile Mia Chloe isn't depending on his source before disbursing merits, let's be frank on this aspect. OP sendables from earning originally outside the board is near to equal what he gets as a merit source.

I have a general question for the board , if I create a gang and begin to get bias in merit sending and Charles-Tim and other merit sources do same how will the board grow? Everyone is trying as much as possible to stay away from this thread simply because it's the truth and 80% or more are guilty of what I'm saying. Some were cowardice enough to use alts to say the trash they can't say with their main accounts because they are guilty of all these. You speak of other local boards when they support literally everyone of their members as LB should be a safe haven but here if you are not in a gang in likely port Harcourt you can't rank on the LB.

Take a look at BPIP it's a shame not up to 5 Nigerians are there as top members. Those that manage to thrive do so outside the board because here cartels have eaten in so deep. Take a look at an average Nigerian account here you will most likely see a tagging saying it's an alt or farm those at the top including me cannot fight for a fellow Nigerian knowing fully well it's most likely true.

Those making examples with other boards, how many times have you seen a russian or German or Italian tagged? Are you saying they don't help themselves? Of course they do but they let the growth reach all but here it's a different case. Those who benefit from the shitty system see it as peak.
