XRP can be a good investment but I think people overestimate how much mainstream finance genuinely rate it. People have been saying for years XRP will be used by banks & become mainstream but here we are in 2025 & nothing like that has materialised & it’s still $2.20 so I don’t think it’s going to be used by banks & governments any time soon.

It's just a picture of their idea and has not been realized in the field for the sustainability of international transactions, maybe you need to see this, but it needs to be emphasized not on the price of XRP but rather on the technology used, as a system or tool to send and receive value from one place to another.
I'm not a fan of XRP which is full of controversy and conspiracy behind it but if we think whether it is possible, of course yes, their ETF is still under review although I doubt it will be approved in the near future.

I don't know how real your claims are but we always knew the Ripple guys are very active in advertising their useless and centralized shitcoin to the financial institutes.

The claims are from social media platforms where their small community and influencers are actively promoting XRP.

I cannot believe in a coin that most of its allocation are held by its creators and not the community, it smells manipulation and fraud.

On wall street? I'm not sure, you are going to have to show some evidence but after Trump mentioned it alongside bitcoin and other altcoins and with SEC finally ending their terrorism over xrp, it is possible that more people are being interested in the coin. After all, it did grow significantly for some time a few months ago. Maybe people are hoping it could happen again.

When you understand Trump is a businessman and cares for only what benefits him, then you can reason why he is interested in a coin that the creators has more control over, perhaps he has struck a deal with them behind close doors and in a more bid to promote more of centralization over decentralization.

Bitcoin is great for long term investment like 10 or more years from now, but if you want to see really good returns then you have to take more risk with top quality altcoins in the top 50 or so, and that includes XRP.

I hope you invest what you can afford to loose so that a dump would not leave you wrecked. It is better for me to go long-term on what is valuable than gamble with shitcoins like XRP.

My average price for XRP was $0.50 and I took out my investment at $2.50 so now holding a free bag.   It will likely hit $6-8 this year, while Bitcoin will be lucky to even 2x now from current price.

I like Bitcoin for the long term, but for the next 6 months or so top altcoins will see much better returns so i plan to make money with altcoins and then with those profits buy Bitcoin over the next few years.

Don't forget you have to see how strict the SEC is on Ripple, even though Garry Gensler is no longer the leader but they are still tied up in previous cases that have not been resolved which made XRP never finish running its business, and of course you have to see the amount of fines that were sent to Ripple.

Don't believe in conspiracies too much, I advise you to be wiser and not see from one point of view of mine, whether it happens or not is just a speculation that was deliberately made to influence the psychology of people like you. As a smart investor you must base your investment on fundamental knowledge of what they offer and do.

I haven't been trading shitcoins for a long time due to being busy IRL to be missing any shitcoin pump.

But I have to say that a shitcoin pump that is supposed to take months, is not a pump I'd ever bothered with in the past or in the future if I decide to trade again. Shitcoin pumps that are worth looking into in my opinion are the ones that take place very quickly and give you huge profit. Something that you can get in and out in matter of hours or at worse a matter of days.

What makes such pumps perfect is that you don't have to end up bag-holding that shitcoin for a long time (like months) wishing for a pump that may or may not occur. In other words you capital remains active instead of just "sleeping" in a coin without change.

Old coins with "bigger" markets like XRP, ETH, BNB,... can never be like that.

It doesn't have any "official" definition because it's a meme, and you can't decide how it's used. But if we pick one altcoin, XRP has pretty much opposite values to bitcoin in terms of fundamentals. So, it's definitely a shitcoin with all the ways i would describe a shitcoin.

And how do you see the size of the marketcap somehow a good sign in terms of the growth? How is it somehow undervalued?

And good for you you made 5x, but i feel like that's your only point you keep repeating. If there's something i regret it would be spending BTC when it was $300 and not buying into ETH ICO because my money was in other altcoins. Missing one 5x or 3x more isn't one of my regrets .

A lot need to be put into place when we are analyzing XRP since majority of it fans have hard a bitter past with the previous crash in the price and also not stable recovery, this make a lot of investors to have a personal second thought towards Ripple and it fundamental ideology, although there have been some positive developments inthe project, but not enough to build the confidence of investors again most especially the old investors.

$2.50 is a 5x but when it hits $7.50 later this year that will be a 15x  .

I just don’t agree with everyone who hates on it, it’s number 3 on the list for a reason. Its big and it’s not going anywhere and I feel many are annoyed that it’s actually recovered from its lows and the only reason it was low for many years is because it was held back by the lawsuit against it - now that’s over it will finally have a good bull run and show what it can do.

I feel like non crypto people are the ones most drawn to xrp, the holders of that coin are definitely a certain demographic. Most other top cryptos have a very decentralized ethos about them but xrp never really fit that mold. As the crypto space has become more centralized lately I feel like xrp was probably the precursor to that happen. It's basically the first non crypto cryptocurrency.
