As far as I know poker is won in mostly 2 ways , which basically consists of either you have a good card or you are capable of making a good bluff. You can win a round with the worse card if you are able to make a good bluff and basically no one will see it coming. Poker tables work based on a randomisation algorithm and the AI can't be 100% accurate what the AI can do at best is based on probability speculate the cards after the draw.

i'm not really into poker, but i can't help wondering how the game will evolve if everyone starts using solvers or AI?
i imagine whatever advantage those tools give will disappear if everyone starts playing perfectly, i mean, there won't be anything for the tools to take advatage of since an AI can't beat another AI.

I think something similar to chess will happen. For many years now, no human has been able to beat the machine. But chess still has a certain popularity. Also in the case of poker, I think that poker in person is the one that will be less affected because it is very difficult to use AI tools without being seen.

These days, AI is like a powerful tool for anything that you do over the net. One click and you basically can get anything under the sun. Homeworks are quite easy to answer because of AI. Just think of it, students are now getting lazy to think about their lessons, as they can easily get the answers by one tap on their phones or laptops. It is getting crazy because of AI. Though there are some setbacks but of course, there are some positive outcome as well. However, player should be very careful as mentioned by the OP. It is like not safe anymore when you deal with AI.

Both are being affected by the used of AI, and I think even more of the offline poker tournaments as you don't know that in front of them is this AI program that analyzed every possible outcome and the odds and how you are going to bet, whether to fold or not.

But I do think that there will still be a lot of players that might be still continue to play and be professional. And the best thing for the tournament is to upgrade their rules with regards to any tools or AI that can be used by players sitting on the table. They might disallow players to go to their team and consult as the team players might have this sort of AI with them and tell the players themselves.

For me, if everyone starts using AI or solvers in poker, the advantage disappears since everyone's playing the same way. It'll just be a bunch of perfect players making perfect moves, which cancels out any edge. In the end, it might make the game kind of boring or predictable.

Casinos will have to introduce anti-AI feature, just like online games have been implementing anti-bot mechanisms to restrain cheating. It doesn't work in 100% of the cases, and many games are still infested of bots, but casinos have to try fighting back if they want to keep poker game playable and fair to customers in general.

Personally, I think it's going to be quite problematic, because there is also a cons on it, which can be the house accusing determined players of using AI just to not pay their winnings, while in fact they have not. Since we are dealing with real money here, you can expect anything and cheating from every sides.

It is not difficult, in poker and without AI there is plenty of software that helps the poker player. After that, someone was able to perfectly adjust this software and I think that this guy managed to earn good money. And in general there are many such people, because there are plenty of programmers. Well, and then one of them began to sell this software, and earn money this way. Most online casinos try to fight against AI bot, but honestly, we don’t really know how well that works. Maybe the casinos even use AI themselves to spot suspicious moves from players using bots. When you’re playing poker, it’s super hard to tell if your opponent is using AI, just logical thinking won’t cut it. You need way deeper analysis to figure that out. If you play poker on different platforms regularly, I’m pretty sure you’ll come across something that feels off at some point. I’ve definitely noticed it myself on the local site I use

I watched a mini-movie/movie where the other guy is relying on a friend and looking at his phone/tablet for the chances of winning percentage. It's the finals with only two players remaining, and the other player is just sitting, waiting for the other guy to decide, but he always asks his friend first before they decide.
This is a physical poker, and it really made me sad, and hoping it won't happen in real life. Or, was it really happening already? Going back to the old style of poker is the best poker ever.
But when it comes to online poker, this is where it gets tricky. A player can use that method without anyone stopping him, and it's going to be chaos.

It is what had to be happened. First level i played was to know card combinations. Second level was to remember how to play with my hand. Third level - to analyze other players on the table. Next step would be when AI will do all it for me.
But AI can`t improvise so if you play unpredictable - you`ll have a chance. The problem is that you`ll have to change your style regularly.

That is too simplistic a view. Having good cards you can fold if the other guy makes you think he has better cards than you and if you have a bluff you might be risking too much to try to throw out someone who has a worse bluff than yours. It's much more complicated than that, starting with the starting hands, the range of cards you put your opponent in depending on his stats, preflop position and movement, postflop equity, etc.

Offline poker is much less affected, and as I said, if you play in specific rooms, like the ones advertised here, they are probably still not too overtaken by people using AI.

We have no idea how it will work since, there are advance features like check/fold that we can do manually. And so, the casinos might have hard time in detecting them if we can already put those actions in advance and so as these bots. To be honest, even if I lose in poker, I have never thought that one of the players in the table that I've met with have used any AI. I just have a lot of trust on them and it's not my thing to accuse people that cheats on every poker table when it's mostly just all for fun but I know that others are doing it for real money making.

I've never been into card games, I've got zero clue about how poker games etc work, and I was never interested in them if I'm honest. However, I can't say that these news aren't something I wasn't expecting. People are chasing wins and earning money through gambling, AI is slowly starting to integrate in our lives, and it's about time people started to take advantage of its capabilities. It's definitely an abuse of the system, providing an unfair advantage, but I'm afraid it's not something that can be countered on online gaming/gambling.

There probably must be a new tool to be used by gambling sites to combat this. To me it is not fair anymore. It is not anymore about pure poker skills that matter and prevail but stronger AI tools as well. Is it possible that casinos would detect players using AI tools and immediately kick them from the table if found?

Although there are still face-to-face poker games, but this is not that convenient. There are also occasional players like me who are not very comfortable and confident playing face-to-face poker because better players could easily detect expressions.
