UEFA Women's Euro 2025

I haven't found topic about this tournament,so, I made it now. Tournament begins today with Iceland - Finland and Switzerland - Norway games. Speaking about whole tournament, Spain looks like main favorite to win it, but maybe England is capable to defend their title which they won 3 years ago playing at home.

When I started this topic, didn't expected that I will get zero replies, but anyway, going to update it during whole tournament. First results of games:
Iceland 0:1 Finland
Switzerland 1:2 Norway
Belgium 0:1 Italy
Spain 4:0 Portugal LIVE at halftime
Hosts Switzerland started tournament with a loss, while Spain takes a lead with very early goal.

This tournament promises to be exciting as different European female teams which are some of the best females teams in world football right now let see how the underdogs of this competition will play and looking at the results the Spanish woman team should be on the watch out because they are already winning by 4:0 against Portugal at halftime

Women's football, what do you expect?
Even the Belgium-Italy match managed to get barely 7k spectators, on par with San Marino's usual games 
And after the Swiss team got trashed 7up by the U15 boys, they became the laughing stock of the world.

Sorry, but some tournaments are played just because of politics, nothing else, and until women's football gets a Caitlin Clark and not an Instagram model with 20 cosmetic surgeries as a poster girl, it won't!

This tournament promises to be exciting as different European female teams which are some of the best females teams in world football right now

2nd day didn't delivered upsets or high scoring games, but I didn't expected that Germany will struggle against Poland that much
Sweden 1:0 Denmark 1:0
Germany 1:0 Poland Live at 65th minute

And after the Swiss team got trashed 7up by the U15 boys, they became the laughing stock of the world.

Sorry, but some tournaments are played just because of politics, nothing else, and until women's football gets a Caitlin Clark and not an Instagram model with 20 cosmetic surgeries as a poster girl, it won't!

I don't know what's the point of such games. Even U15 is already physically stronger and taller than women. Like in tennis you don't expect that Iga Swiatek will serve with same strength like John Isner or you don't put women against man in boxing ring.
I tend to ignore politics stuff, equal pay shit and etc, I'm just interested in things which happens on the pitch.

The tournament would have struggled to get viewership, but with whatever attention going to the CWC, it is no surprise that this is the case. The recently concluded under 19 European championship also did not get much attention as much as I could tell despite familiar names featuring.

I have tried seeing some games and the quality of football is good. When the tournament gets to the knock out stages I'll make out more time to check it out and most likely it will get more attention then.

This championship is being broadcast on a Brazilian YouTube channel.

Spain vs. Belgium and Italy vs. Portugal on the 7th are two matches I intend to make my predictions about. They have some interesting odds. Maybe I'll risk an underdog in one of them.

Unfortunately, women's soccer is very undervalued. In fact, women play very well. I don't believe that soccer is an exclusively male sport. Maybe it's not worth it financially for sponsors. I watch a lot of games of the Corinthians women's team (which is the team I support) and I see more effort and determination coming from them than from the men's team.

I didn't know about this tournament prior to seeing the thread. Heck, I didn't even know there was a Women's Euros but it's good to see. As with similar tournaments that are no where near the major ones, I won't watch it much until the tournament graduates to the latter stages like round of 16 and later because the performances from group stages are always underwhelming.

Germany football team played very excellent against Poland football team and that was one sided match because Germany team did 2 goals in this match and Poland team could not do any goal in this match. We did not see any goal from any team in the first half but in the second half we saw two goals from Germany football team. That team performance was at the top because Brand did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 52 minutes and after we saw more goal by player of that team. Poland football team performance was very bad because players were not in good form and shots of that team were low in this match which were only  10 and 2 shots were on target.The possession percentage of that team was very low in this match.

Germany football team played very excellent against Poland football team and that was one sided match because Germany team did 2 goals in this match and Poland team could not do any goal in this match. We did not see any goal from any team in the first half but in the second half we saw two goals from Germany football team. That team performance was at the top because Brand did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 52 minutes and after we saw more goal by player of that team. Yeah, Germany dominated, but ittook a while for them to score first goal. I was expecting it happen faster and thatthey will score more than 2 goals. But win is a win, that's most important.
Meanwhile France makes little upset by beating reigning champions England. France scored 2 goals in few minutes, what was shock for England. England scored their goal in the end, but it was too late to save the game.

With France win against Wales 2nd roud of group stage is concluded. In 3rd round games of each group wil be played on same time, as usual.
So far there isn't many upsets, things goes as planned. In some groups everything is already decided, while in Group A there will be direct clash between Finland and hosts Switzerland.
Also, either England or Netherlands will be eliminated already after group stage. But D is a group of death and someone had to die there.

This is currently the most intrested group and currently its still far from finished. France has the best position so far but even they yet still havent confirmed their place in the next round so its gonna be really fun to see what will happen in the last eound of the group. I think England will go through to the next round i just have a feeling

France women's football team played very well against Wales women's football team and we saw one sided game . France women's football team did 4 goals in this match and these goals were back to back we know that France women's team is strong enough to win against Wales women's team . Matéo was a first player who did goal and gave excellent start to her team but after 5 minutes we saw resistance by opponent team player and he did goal ,at 13 minutes.That woman was Fishlock and she tried to equal the goals but after that they took easy and France women's team did 3  more goals in this match and we saw one sided result. Geyoro did last goal of the match and he did this goal at ,63 minutes.

Meanwhile, in group B no surprises, Spain and Italy goes to 1/4 finals. Portugal had minimal chances, but they haven't even won their game.

And the thing is that you see teams that are under the U15 level playing football.
Since you can see that the U15 football championship has also little to no interest, then why should people watch something of less competitiveness?

When an exchange that is targeted at EU consumers has more money rolling on a Bolivian match than the match between the two strongest teams in a group, it's clear there is nothing to feel surprised.

It's unfortunate that the hosts Switzerland are facing this Spanish team so early in the tournament, I really do not see way they can beat them, or any other team in the competition for that matter.

Italy vs Norway is a much more even affair and will make for a very interesting match.

Women's sports have never been near the men sports due to inconsistency and poor quality just because of this mostly punters avoid this and bookies also have not good markets about this which make things difficult even few sports are having good results and chances of having support from fans but still it's not easy.

UEFA competitions always have good encouragement with good quality and consistency, but it's not attractive because currently FIFA Club World Cup is also underway and punters also have many other options which give them better profit for their predictions. Now few minutes left in two games Sweden going to entertain Germany for first spot in Group 3 with Denmark is going to have challenge of Poland in this game Denmark is hot favourite for win Germany vs Sweden is balanced but Germany slightly favourite.

Nothing intersting didn't happened today as things in Group C were already decided before last round. But now I can't wait for tomorrow - either England or Netherlands will go home after group stage. Too bad that games is on the same time as CWC final. UEFAis shooting on their own foot, don't know why they didn't moved games to earlier slot.

It's unfortunate that the hosts Switzerland are facing this Spanish team so early in the tournament, I really do not see way they can beat them, or any other team in the competition for that matter.

The final group stage matches will be between England and Wales and the Netherlands and France. I predict England will win against Wales. The Netherlands, on the other hand, face a tough match against France. France has won both of their matches, and if they beat the Netherlands, England will be eliminated. Therefore, the Netherlands' entire fate hinges on winning the France match.

The final group stage matches will be between England and Wales and the Netherlands and France. I predict England will win against Wales. The Netherlands, on the other hand, face a tough match against France. France has won both of their matches, and if they beat the Netherlands, England will be eliminated. Therefore, the Netherlands' entire fate hinges on winning the France match.

England  Women football team will play next match against Wales Women football team and that match will be exciting because both teams performance is good. But it we will see recent performance then we will be impressed by England W team because that team won most of the matches which shows that team is in excellent form and players are giving hundred percent to win this match. England W team won 3 matches out of 5 matches and 2 matches lost by that team but Wales football team could not win single match out of last 5 matches and that team lost 4 matches out of 5 matches and 1 match was draw . The head to head performance of England W team is also good because that team won 1 match and Wales W team could not win any match.
