[META] Merit Analysis - Pilipinas Local Board

Hello Kabayan,

Naisipan ko gawan ng analysis yung board natin. Nung pag check ko wala pang gumagawa nito dito sa atin. Yung data na ito ay nakuha sa Bitcointalk Merit Dashboard by DdmrDdmr

Ever since na introduce yung merit system, eto yung data up to June 28, 2025^{I will update this periodically.}

Simulan natin dito sa Merit Distribution over Time. From what I have observed, mataas talaga yung peak ng merit distribution during late 2019. High activity and a lot of people have received merits nung time na yun ^{[kasama na din ako dun]} After nung spike, may decline na and wala na masyado nag ddistribute. Then 2022, medyo stagnant at fluctuating ang mga distribution.


Checking the all-time records, eto so far ang distribution. Kitang kita ang effect ng pagiging merit source na si cabalism13. On the right side, yung mga all-time receivers naman ng merit, top on the list is finaleshot2016.


Diving in sa known merit source na si cabalism13, on the left side is yung yearly contribution niya with 671 as the top merit distributed nung 2019 and yan ang nag cause ng spike dun sa merit distribution over time na graph. On the right side naman, yung receivers niya, ang pinakamataas na nakakuha ng merit sakanya is si Bttzed03 with 111.


After 2022, nawala na si cabalism13 at nagkaroon ng stagnant na merit distribution. Pero dito sa graph na ito ang makakapag pakita ang mga nag taguyod ng merit distribution at ang bumuhay sa local board natin. Top on the list ay si nutildah with 196 merits distributed since 2022. Si Peanutswar naman ang may pinakamalaking received after 2022, which is 245. Siya ang nag buhay ng quality sa local board.

I guess its time na para mabuhay ulit yung local natin, sobrang hirap ng era nayan before talaga kasi ayun nga limited lang merit natin so at least kahit papaano na survive natin tapos medyo na hiatus na din ako mag update nitong statistics natin kasi parang tagal na din walang engagement but I can make it naman ulit na buhayin ung stats board dito satin or lets say create a new thread kasi wala na din si asu dito sa community natin eh.

Hi nutildah that why I stepped up and applied for merit source and fortunately granted an approval. But I think to catch up with the rest of the local like others its better if theres another one or two at least for our local to make a catch up.

Crwth's application still pending maybe theymos could also approved him or maybe a new participants. Anyway thanks for lingering around here.

Totoo madami ako kasabayan dati tumigil na dito kasi during our time eh sakto yung labas ng merit system, and ako na lang naiwan sa mga friends ko sa web3 ma nagforum sabi nila ang hirap daw, buti ako hindi sumuko, it took me more than 2yrs para igapang from member rank Legendary itong account ko. Now alam ko yung hirap magpataas ng rank and makakuha ng merit, so nagapplied ako as MS, ngayon tutulong ako dito para mapanatili ang sigla ng local forum.

Super short, we are lucky to have you here bro to look out our thread. Not many Local member before has sMerit to spare that’s why there’s a drought. Lots of low rank member decided to stop using Bitcointalk since they can’t rank up anymore.

I appreciate the kind words. I just really think that we need to have a view on how the situation is with the local board and put some light into the current situation. Thanks for the contributions here.

Ang pangit lang is iisipin paparank up lang para sa campaign. Maganda kung for knowledge din siguro pero idealistic view lang talaga siya. Tatagal lang talaga ang pag rank up pero kakayanon yan. Small steps.

Mabuti talaga may  merit source tayo same dati kasi yung iba nagiging active lang pag mas madami silang merits nakukuha dito pero downside nga ay iyan, parang di organic at napipilitan lang. Kaya para sakin, let's prove and be more active lang.

Mababa lang talaga distribution dito dahil limited lang naman ang meron sa bawat isa. Pero kapag may source na tayo, tingin ko tataas ang distribution dahil nandiyan kayo unang una si cryptoadditchie tapos sana maaprubahan ka para kahit dalawa kayo ay ayos na ayos na.

Sana lang magsipag pa ang mga kababayan natij to produce more quality post, kasi isa yan sa possible titignan if ever man ireason out na kulang sa merit source tapos magcheck sila ng mga potential post na goods for merit eh kaunti lang naman active something like that. Sa tingin ko dn natabunan lang since madaming bagong merit source ang naapproved kagaya dun sa Nigeria local board na halos recently lang nagapply pero lahat sila approved.

Ang mabigat lang kung same time frame ulit bago mag review si @theymos ng application.

Tiis muna tayo sa 50 merit per month na allocation. Tulong tulong nalang tayo dito sa local kapag may free sMerit tayo.

Sure... I like to try to see how much Tagalog I can understand sometimes, but usually end up right-clicking on the "Translate to English" option after a while.

Because of the language barrier, its hard for me to know which topics are created "just to get merit," but if there is a decent amount of work involved and the results are interesting (to me), then I consider a topic to be merit-worthy.

Maganda sana yan pero masyadong dadami ang sub-sections at nakadepende na yan sa mod/admin natin. Pero depende pa rin kasi talaga, kung sa mga normal topics na meron tayo at hindi naman engaging kahit na interest na rin ng lahat at kokonti lang ang nage-engage. Kokonti lang din at baka maging display lang din ang mga sub-boards/sections na idadagdag. Pero ganun pa man, darating din siguro ang araw na yan kapag dumami dami tayo o kahit hindi dumami ang mga additional members basta dumami ang mga active dito sa local natin.
