There are many here in our country, and it's kind of a hot issue recently that there are a lot of influencers that are paid to promote casinos. They don't care if they have viewers that are minors and already addicted to it. As long as they're paid to endorse that to their videos, they would careless.

The only way to stay out of trouble would be not to promote those casinos, but the reward can be very tempting that many decide to take the risk. It's just the same as unregistered ICO projects way before, like in 2017-2018 wherein there are a lot of celebrity endorsers who didn't do their due diligence to check and so they were fine. The only difference though is that in gambling, it's really hard to turn down this kind of offers as it involved a lot of money and so this influencers are accepting that free money to promote and maybe they can give residual income as well for those who are going to sign under them, like a referral link.

I believe that when you are an influencer, you have a lot of responsibilities towards the community. The world influencer means that you influence other people, their daily life and habits. When you are an influencer, it's your responsibility to do some research around the project and be confident that the product you are promoting is trustworthy or legal in your country. Sadly, influencers don't care about that, they try to catch as many business offers as possible and most of these influencers lost their face.

I think topic consider the number of follower and your niche. There’s no problem for us to promote casino since we do our post on a forum specifically gambling board that audiences is aware on gambling.

This is the reason I feel like being a celebrity or an influencers must be a tough job which should be carried out even in your home as well. I mean when you become a celebrity, you need to be more careful on everything which are just one step away from your front door steps. You are responsible for your every word and action. All these are boiling down to, 'being responsible'. So, gambling cannot be an exception for a celebrity and they must face all the consequences if anything goes wrong.

Are you sure that this guy isn't aware that the casino isn't registered. A lot of influencers are doing this for the money. If they can deceive and lure people into gambling and trading that they can get rich quick through them, when that's not true. It means that they can go as far as promoting an unregistered platform.

There are some platforms that will not let people promote gambling but if a platform allows me to promote gambling, that means I will promote gambling because if I do not promote it, another person will. It seems that streamers or youtubers are special cast of people who are allowed to do things with impunity. How many time I have seen them trolling people, provoke, scam, promote ponzi or something illegal, but it all ends with "I did not know" or "look camera is over there, its a joke or prank". We have so many streamers and youtubers, and only few get punished or face responsibility for their actions. Story from first post will end with minimum fine and content deletion, while casino has earned and streamer received more from that was the amount of his fine.

For the sake of money, these influencers take the offer even knowing this is not good anymore. Maybe we could understand if they were just promoting legal sites, but promoting questionable casinos is something we need to worry about because they already have huge followers. The influencer’s YouTube channel, with over 53,000 subscribers, featured videos that not only showcased live gambling but also included direct links and invitations for viewers to participate, as well as access to a Dutch-language Discord channel for additional support.

As a result of non-compliance, the KSA imposed a penalty order requiring the immediate cessation of all illegal promotional activities.

The order stipulates a fine of €25,000 (£21,519) per violation, up to a maximum of €75,000 (£64,559.62). If the influencer fails to comply, the regulator will also approach the social media platform directly to ensure the removal of harmful content.

Nothing new about this since there are greedy streamers  aim to get profit and don't care about what they are promoting is illegal or not.

For sure they know how to verify these platforms but they choose to ignore since maybe they get more bigger profit for streaming on behalf of those illegal casinos. What's even more worse is they are over exaggerated and said to their followers that its easy to earn money on the casino they are promoting.

Government should step up in this situation to eliminate those kind of activity. Since if they don't do anything many people would follow this kind of actions and it will be a huge mess also rampant addiction might provably occur also possible scamming especially that those casino is not regulated well.

The narrative is about the influencer promoting unlicensed gambling because the players have no protection in case of a scam or violation of the gambling platform. It’s irresponsible for an influencer to promote an unregistered gambling platform because they expose their followers to potential scams. I would unfollow influencers who do not care for their followers.

In my country, gambling activities are strictly prohibited. If I were an influencer, I would never display anything about gambling, because I would be caught up in the law in my area. However, if gambling is legal in my country, of course I would want the casino to have a license.

This is very popular everywhere, especially here in our country, mostly are in social media, where some of their video include advertising any gambling platforms, and these gambling platforms pay a huge amount of money to these personalities, especially if they have a lot of followers.

Is your country not so strict about gambling regulations? This should be a concern for your government because I think this is a threat, there is a possibility that your people are being cheated by these casinos, behaving unfairly and taking advantage of the people in your country.

We can see a lot of influencers promoting gambling, and it was okay for me. But promoting a casino that is not yet registered is a different story. A responsible influencer must know the risk of doing it. Because this is not about earning money or a choice of a gambler to use it, but it is about the reputation you hold as an influencer.

Although we don't urge people to gamble when seeing the promotion. However, it was not good to look at when you know it could harm people and yet you are still doing it.
