The world is in morning after the news of Diego Jota’s death, you don’t have to be a football fan or affiliate to feel this dark pains and to make it even bitter he just got married two weeks ago and left a wife and kid, this is about Jota alone but also his younger brother died with him.

The cause of his death is via a ghastly motor tragedy that involved a luxurious car where the tire blew up while in motion cause the car to skid away from the road.

Luxurious fast car has been seen as a symbol of wealth and status so badly that almost every entertainer, athlete has one for themselves but these cars has been doing harm.

Last season Michiali Antonio a player from west ham had his season cut short with him battling for his life and career after he was involved in a car accident. This isn’t the only case in record, boxers, footballers and actors have been a victim of fast cars incidents

Yes there are speed limit laws but it seem that is not enough using the accident record. I propose there should be a law on the usage of fast cars, the only requirement to own one is your drivers license and your money. There should be a special license for the use of fast cars where users will go through a school in the handling of fast cars and overall usage. The government should not show a blind eyes to all this incidents.

We can not control some unseen circumstances but I have watched some of the cctv footage of these accidents and all the time they were moving at some unbelievable speed, the fun of these fast cars in obviously the speed and that is the essence of the car but some of these guys that buys the car may not be experience in the control of fast cars. A law should be enforced on the safety use and control of fast cars were those who passes get to have a license to drive one.

Speed restricting devices and programs of those luxurious vehicles will definitely make people not buy them, so it is not commercially doable and it would be highly unpopular.
If this discussion was taken to some societies, for example in the United States, it would be some debate about people's rights to use their product (the vehicle) with whatever speed they want and assume the consequences of it. It would be a similar debate that one about cigarettes and tobacco in general.
People knows smoking harms oneself and others around, but still there is a right in place for people to decide whether they want to screw themselves up and increase their chances of illness for the sake of their vice.

In the case of high speed vehicles, it would be about people having the right to enjoy their expensive car, assuming the possible consequences of doing so. Also, as far as I know, in some countries in the EU there are no legal speed limits in highways.

The number of people, not just celebrities, who have died due to speeding is high. I am not a fan of fast cars because any fault or mistake could be fatal. I support that the government should make some laws that will reduce the rate of these accidents due to overspending.

Such cars should have some safety features that will protect occupants during a crash. I am sure that these footballers wouldn't have died if the car hadn't gone up in flames. The cars could be fireproof and the tires made from material that can not blow out. Drivers should also be trained like Formula One drivers to gain mastery.

The government will face plenty of litigation if it wants to control the production or use of these fast cars.

This was my point and essence of the post. I am not actually for the ban of fast cars but I suggest that there should be a license a person has to have to be eligible to drive fast cars. Before you can get this license you must have received intensive training on how to drive and handle situations while in the fast cars. It’s enough, the world can’t keep losing people to luxurious cars.

And besides, the speed limits of vehicles has nothing to do with the drivers involving in accident instead the drivers should be blamed for their recklessness and over speeding. Moreover, there's usually speed limitations of vehicles regulated for road safety especially in the local roads while speeds on the highways might be unlimited.

People die from bicycle accident and motorcycle accident, should there be other separate laws about them as well? Lots of auto crashed has claimed lots of lives and majority of these auto crashes are not from fast cars. If the users of fast cars are as careful as the rest of other car users they will be just fine. I don't really see a need to have a separate laws or regulations for fast cars. Accidents do happens and it's just part of the disadvantages of automobiles. Countless numbers of unreported lives are lost every day on the road. As road users we just need to be careful and mind our speed when driving cars, knowing fully well that the cars are mechanically constructed and can develop fault at any point especially when it is on motion.

This probably will get shorted by self-driving and possibly by interconnected infrastructure. It is not that far away.

Having said that, I never clearly understood why cars that can double the limit can actually use the roads. Either you limit or you use them only outside the public domain. Chinese are now building cars that basically are idiot proof and do not let you flip or the like.

This is just a raw preposition and i Think can have some adjustments. I believe that fast, sport cars are Called  that because they have strong engines that allows the car to put out extreme speed. Now you have a license and take for instance a formula driver that has a license you can’t compare you both in terms of controlling a fast car. If there are extra measures to see riders of faster car take stronger learning maybe not to the extent of a formula one driver but at least better than the average driver like you and I.

The way the Lamborghini is being built, it has very few inches above the ground and its speed limit is extremely high, so if you are on a very high speed and anything happens probably the car hits a pothole, there's high likelihood that you are bound to tumble, but for Toyota and Lexus, the sort of have some balance because of the number of inches they have above the ground, even if they have an accident the impact did not be the same with that of a Lamborghini. But the question I would like to ask is that, why would anybody go for such a speedy car with high expenses and the person is not on a race track but just on a normal.

Do you want to blame the government for the accident that took the football life? There are some rules the government agency has established against high speed and other road traffic which the users have to obey whenever using the road. But few people don't pay attention to those road rules traffic especially when they are on high drugs or alcohol influence, it makes them to drive anyhow on the road hoping they are on the safe drive, because they don't know what they are doing at the moment.

I'm not saying that the Liverpool striker was on high drugs or high by alcohol, Sometimes you don't need to be on speed before you can get incident, because the person that is coming may be on speed to lose control to jam someone that is not on speed to die on the accident. According to the rule of road safety, kill speed before speed kill you, meaning that control your speed before the speed will lead you to death.

People get accident with cars that are not fast cars every day, so I don't see the reason why we put the blame on fast cars when we know that a lot of people are out there using these fast cars without having any accident. There are policemen who are always on the road to monitor drivers and make sure that they don't speed beyond the given speed limit or they will get arrested. Indeed it’s actually sad that this luxurious cars that one would have thought no one can died in is now claiming life’s and wrecking families. I wish there was a CCTV footage but from the news he was rushing up to catch a ferry so I believe he was on top speed, I don’t think we have heard the last of the story because a more detailed cause of the accident will surface soon, but this is a very big loss.

I just dont think more regulations are the solution here.  Sure, some folks drive too fast but making them take special driving lessons or something isnt gonna fix the deeper issue. 

The real problem is entitlement - this mindset some people have that the rules dont really apply to them and  and lets be real, those extra driving schools probably wont change their mindset.  They would get some fancy certificate without learning anything. We already have speed limits, right? But that doesnt stop people from ignoring them if they think they are above it all.  Slapping more bandaids on the situation with new laws doesnt address why some people feel so invincible behind the wheel in the first place.

I understand your concern for safety and to avoid future reoccurring of this kind of accident on people but let's not forget that even the non fast car we might think is more safer has the highest record of accident, actually accidents can happen anytime even when the person is not on high speed, that is called a fast car doesn't mean all the people who will drove it will use all speedometer because there are law enforcement agencies or officers whom there work is to make sure people don't go beyond the maximum speed range, so actually driving a fast car is not the problem.

What government is the one that should make those regulations? Would that country demand that special local license for anyone driving a car, that could technically go over the "fast" limit?

Or should every region just unify and force them? And how would this work exactly? Not all fast cars are as hard or easy to handle. And if that special drivers license would be issued in one area, it doesn't mean that they can drive that car as easily in different conditions in different countries.

Since the 1st Amendment has been adjudicated to mean freedom to travel by RIGHT, government can't limit how we travel. So, what government needs to do is build safe places where fast cars can't hurt anybody. This includes roadways that keep the cars on them with high walls, and the cars can destroy each other if they don't follow common sense.

Almost everyone on earth knows that over speeding is not good, hardly for someone who ended in it as accident, survives it. But you would see some people who likes to over speeding when driving. Whereas they are aware that over speeding is not good, it could lead to someone death.

What I understand about human behavior is that, no lecture or training you would give them that will make them stop to experience something more just to feel good about themselves.

If the government decides today to propose a bill on the usage of fast car, that everyone should follow, which is going through a school on its overall usage, we will still gonna find some people who will go contrary to that, to follow their own knowledge about fast car
