Any good faucets around?

I know crypto faucets aren't much of a thing these days since most coins have soared all the way to the moon. Even top-tier cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum have seen fees surge towards astronomical levels (making faucets impractical). While that's the case, there are some coins with little or no fees at all. Solana, XRP, Litecoin, and IOTA are good examples of this.

If you happen to know of any good faucets that are still paying (of any particular cryptocurrency), please feel free to share them here.

FYI aside from conventional faucet that gives a little, in ETH you can actually just claim as much ETH sepolia and exchange it to real ETH in testnetbridge, the rate will be low but I think it's worth knowing.

Under the hood they use layerzero to connect to ETH sepolia to mainnet and some L2s.

It's hard to get a faucet nowadays other than testnet faucets, because developers realized that it's just a waste of their money with the fact many are just exploiting it. Maybe you can find some after a deep search, sorry I don't have any references for faucets on mainnet.

Faucets are no longer available in the space anymore I think so, the only one I could remember and I'm not sure they still exist till today is Funfair while earning earning low fraction of FUN token.

Except you dig out research for current faucets but I doubt you could see any. It's now things of the past.

Honestly i cant even imagine when last i have been after these hunt last, because they are not what i needed to use or run after at some point in time, because i can also remember then, when we started afresh, everyone busy looking for updates with some of these faucets and the ones that are rewarding form them, we also make referrals to friends and recommend to ones that we feels are legits, but ever since that era, am no more into faucets.

This is why I haven't fulfilled the task needed for the airdrop I'm joining and just decided to quit on doing airdrops now. Meanwhile, there are still lots of regular faucets lying around.

The one that I know and I'm sure many people know is Freebitco.in. In the forum, we also have a faucet section. Here is the link actually https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0 . He can check that as well to found some faucets. I don't think faucets are a waste of money for the devs because usually they have ads, so they might earn more on it in fact. There are also ways to combat the exploits like putting up a captcha.

Actually agreed with this, mainet coin faucet is as lively as it was before back in the days but the reward is slashed many times already since the coin are having deflation.

On the other hand everybody need testnet coin and by huge amount because we've got no shortage of people testing their apps as well as newbie trying out to be smart contract programmer.
That's why nowaday a testnet faucet only give 0.01 ETH or less with requirement of holding money in mainnet and have verified account.

It's too bad that the owner of Freebitco.in decided to shut down its Dogecoin variant (Freedoge.co.in). Back then, it was considered one of the best Dogecoin faucets around (if not the best). I also remember MoonBitco.in and MoonDogeco.in back in the day, but for some reason, they all went down. My guess is that rising market prices made the whole thing unsustainable. It's no excuse, because faucet owners could've simply reduced the rewards based on current market prices.

Of course, if a coin's underlying Blockchain network gets congested, it would make no sense to keep the faucet operational. High network fees will "eat up" most of the reward. It's a "miracle" Freebitco.in is still running these days. The faucet gives you some interest by leaving BTC in it (sort of like staking). I wouldn't trust my coins with it due to being centralized, but to each their own. With many cryptocurrencies having little or no fees, one would hope more faucets will open in the long term. One can dream, right?

In the past faucet use to pay high but now even the available one only pays pee nuts for tons of work and long period of time doing that tasks, so now is not the right time to involve in faucet for whatever reason, it's just like cryptocurrency airdrop of this day's is not what it used to be in the past and many are avoiding it now.

I think that it's also because that the market has been rising and the small amounts given to these faucets are no longer sustainable. I'm sure that many of the members here have been a fan of freebitco.in's faucet and every time they search it before, it's the first in the results to show.

I wouldn't entrust my coins as well in them if they're going to have sort of staking. I'm good in keeping it to myself and will forget about the potential rewards by doing nothing. The risk is higher in that part and we all know that many platforms could go south any moment even the most reputable ones.

Giveaways make only sense for coins which don't have real community, and they are probably coming back at some point. They are probably tied to learning about that crypto like in coinbase.

But whole space is so saturated that i don't think that most of us even hear about some low cap giveaways, and since they can be worth less then a transaction cost, no one is interested about them either. And they can't give away too much because it's mostly added to sell pressure.

Everyone knows about bitcoin, so it doesn't need giveaways to advertise. Especially with price trajectory like this people rather hodl everything they have.

Era of faucets are gone. I guess airdrops and testnet tokens have replaced that now. It's the same publicity and adverts realized in faucets that are also realized with airdrops. Even more in terms of revenue generation and subscription commissions projects get this day. Searching for faucets now is like trying to pass a thread through a needle in a windy atmosphere.

I know faucets don't pay that much, but they're still a fun way to get into crypto. Newbies will find faucets a viable choice for experimenting with crypto. I wasn't aware that Google Ads banned faucets, though. Meanwhile, adult entertainment sites still have Google Ads on them. Shows us how discriminatory Google is against crypto. But now that the US is turning extremely pro-crypto, maybe Google will change its mind? Allowing faucet owners to host ads, will be a huge win for the company and for crypto itself.

So we'll be seeing (hopefully) new faucets for coins such as SOL, TRX, DOGE, XRP, and XLM. Only if operational costs remain low, of course. Personally, I need a POL faucet right now, so I can pay the gas fee to transact my USDC along the network. The fees are quite cheap, so it doesn't worth to buy a large portion of POL just to pay the fees, and so far, I didn't find anywhere to acquire a tiny amount of POL just to complete my transaction.

That is where faucets come into the scene playing a very important and useful role. Unfortunatelly, the only faucets I found right now pay in "coins" inside their website, and once you accumulate a large amount of those coins you can exchange them into a cryptocurrency of your preference in order to cashout.

The problem is that such default coins take too long to be accumulated. Minimum exchange is 2000 coins, and you receive only 10 coins per claim on the faucet (every 20 minutes, I think). It totally goes against the principles of faucets we had in the early days, where dust of coins could be claimed and immediately paid directly to your microwallet address.

there's 'mayocoin' & 'banano' they tip out these coins almost every day for helpful posts

and they do giveaways and contests too on reddit

but these coins have almost no value as of now
