Bitcoin has performed well in the past and rise to unimaginable heights when compared to when it was launched. But from now on, to the next 15 years, I can appreciate another 500% increase. The really birds who got into Bitcoin and held it until now would be in great generational riches. Bitcoin is not just a digital coin but a digital revolution and the future continues to be brighter than it's past.

It is very easy to look at the past, see that profitability and think how wonderful everything would have been if you had bought a lot and not sold anything but the reality is that 99% who bought at that time sold after a short time, some at a loss. When bitcoin was something new, unregulated, that you did not know if it was going to be banned, with a much higher volatility than now, you had to be basically either crazy or a visionary to buy a good amount and hold on without selling for many years.

I knew bitcoin when it price was around $16k-$17k bottom price during a bear market was really interested but could get to lay my hands on it, but however I knew from then that bitcoin was such a very good investment because I had already listened to podcasts, news and read articles concerning bitcoin and how great it is and would be in the nearest future and I think the ATH  then was around $60k which means I haven't been around for too long, knew it during the last bear market.

At this point of bitcoin and it's popularity I don't think anyone would ever look down on it if they really know it, because even governments are interested although it's not for the same reason we are here but to reap the hell out of bitcoin but however it's also a reason we need to grab the highest we can now.

Giving this analogy picking from 2010 when bitcoin earned it first trade and value is even too hopeful for it better days ahead that it might increase. How about somewhere then at 2009 when it was totally a zero value $0? Not even the pro and enthusiasts of then and now including us that knew bitcoin was existing talk more of it reality of today that it was going to be this valuable.
In just 15 years interval the horizon of it peak of the bottom form $0.01 to $108,000 the price of today in July 2025 is sunrising.

That is really crazy and it all happened in a blinking of an eye! It's as if it were yesterday that I found out about Bitcoin from a friend and got into it back in 2014 (a couple of years later). By that time price was around $400-$500. What I like about those times is that price kept going down (all the way to $150) and I never even blinked. I've always been interested in the technology and the financial sovereignty that Bitcoin offers more than anything else.

I've gone through a lot too in this long period too. Apart from that massive drop I mentioned and other subsequent rises and massive crashes, I have also witnessed so much FUD be spread about Bitcoin!
I'd say one of the major ones was from a bitcoin core developer called Mike Hearn who one day called bitcoin a failure (a failed experiment IIRC) and sold his coins and got out!!! And mainstream media went bananas over it, they had found the ultimate FUD and were running with it everywhere.
I don't think today anybody even remembers Hearn anymore and Bitcoin is still going strong...

More than 100% is really too small a number, so you could have added a few more zeros to better illustrate how much the price increase actually is. However, what you will most likely not be right about is that in the next 15 years, something similar to what happened in the past 15 years will happen when it comes to the price of BTC.

My opinion (not financial advice) is that the price of BTC in the next 15 years could be x10 higher at most - but even 1 BTC = $1 million shouldn't fascinate anyone too much because the $ will certainly weaken significantly, and the purchasing power of $1 million today and in 15 years will be far less.

Do you mean around 2010? Well, back then, relatively few people knew about BTC, even 5 years later the situation wasn't much better, and it wasn't until the big bull run of 2017 that people started to take BTC a little more seriously. Crying over spilt milk has done no good to anyone.

I started buying when the price was around $200, sometimes I regret not buying more, or selling something for a small profit - but I've made up for all that in the years that have followed. When I first heard of bitcoin in 2013 I had already fallen victim to Ponzi scams. I had nothing left on me and had also given up on anything online investment because I did spread my portfolio across different Ponzi sites only for all to crash at the same time. I didn't believe bitcoin will be this valuable in a time as this.

No, this is not a reminder of what the price of Bitcoin will be in the next 15 years because you should have a look at Bitcoin's market cap at first. In 2010, how many people knew Bitcoin? Only a few people and the marketcap of the coin was nothing. But 15 years later, millions of people (or billions) know Bitcoin and it's market cap is 2.27 trillion US dollars. There is no way for Bitcoin to grow from 100K to that levels in the next 15 years because the market cap is already saturated. Gold's market cup is 22.4 trillion US dollars. If Bitcoin reaches Gold's market cap in the next 15 years, it will cost one million dollar per coin, which means 1000% rise but I doubt that will happen in the next 15 years, but who knows?

Many have their own regrets some wishes to have knew bitcoin then during such low while some are regretting not taken action then and I found my self among this category. Well I was familiar with bitcoin during the price range of $9k+ or even lower I can’t fully remember, then I thought it has already gotten to its peak just like how some folks are thinking now .

That if I purchase now I might endup purchasing at the top , then I decided to go in to short term spot trading , and I made a lot of losses then because I had know idea how things works then I was still kinda ignorant. This is exactly why I said the early investors and holders are definitely different from the new adopters, currently if there is something about maybe exchange getting hacked you see all the panic in the market with weak hands trying to sell of all, or when there is some little conflicts or even a particular country getting into a tariff war. I usually say this are just little storms that only a weak hand will fall into because an old bitcoin holder who has experienced a developer leaving will see this as just another news again.

At a time when bitcoin price was just about $1 those the invested had the belief it was going to get to a hundred of thousands few years from that 2011. Today, bitcoin price is trading above $100k. Honestly, I won't doubt anyone speculating that bitcoin price might be trading above $1M in a decade from now.  We have seen it and our resolve now should be focused on stockpiling and hodling towards the future. If we had missed it yesteryears we shouldn't also make the mistake of missing it again.
