Any political system that favors strategic voting (especially when people are too lazy to come up for sophisticated strategies) and voting for whatever half of society expects you to vote for (without considering whether this is actually a good idea or not; I don't know why people even do this especially when you can only please about half of society by voting for any particular candidate; oh wait, humans are not sensible creatures) is a stupid voting system.
