Will your children join the blockchain-crypto market?

We've talked about managing our crypto assets as we get older, the ins and outs of inheriting crypto, and when to start teaching our kids about it. But there's one thing we haven't really considered: their active involvement in this market, instead of just passively taking our advice.

I truly believe that over the next 10 to 20 years, careers in the blockchain and crypto space will be an unstoppable trend, much like the huge wave of IT jobs we saw 10 or 15 years ago. Right now, the number of people working in blockchain and crypto is pretty small, but most of them earn really high salaries compared to the average. This is definitely going to draw in more talent once more countries around the world get their crypto legal frameworks in place.

I even tried my hand at blockchain programming with the Rust language once, but it was pretty complex, so I decided to stick to my strengths. However, I'm confident my kids can do better, and I see them taking on many roles in this promising market down the road.

If my child wants to pursue an engineering path, they could become a blockchain developer or focus on integrating blockchain into various businesses. On the flip side, if finance is more their thing, they could work in a bank and specialize in crypto-related services. While AI can handle a lot of jobs, the human element will always be incredibly important.

Traders and data analysts are also quite appealing roles, but I wouldn't want them to become social media KOLs. That's just too risky due to the threat of kidnappers. Regardless, if my child genuinely loves blockchain technology and the crypto market, I will absolutely support them. And if they lean towards other fields like sports, science, or art, I'll respect and support those passions too.

Nowadays it is true that there are still very few people who know about blockchain technology, even in different countries they still have not fully adopted it, and whatever their reasons are,
of course, that depends on the president or prime minister of their country.

Now, of course, I will not allow my child to learn about blockchain technology and teach him what I do in this bitcoin or crypto business. Everything I know, of course,
I will teach him to the best of my ability.

1: I have talked with them about this in neutral matter, and while i haven't said it to them, last thing i would want for them is to be anywhere near this space. They have actual real life skills in a level that pretty much guarantees them a good salary. No matter if they choose to be entrepreneurs or workers.

2: Scamming would probably be most profitable sector.

3: Most "jobs" in this sector that don't require much skills have always been either saturated by cheap labor, or botted out when ever anyone has noticed that there's a market to profit.

Rest of those are development jobs, but most of them don't produce anything tangible. It's just bunch of influencers creating value via speculation and their wealth growth models are indistinguishable from any pyramid scheme. So, no. I don't want my kids going for same road as me in this. If they want to invest, that's their choice, but that's not a job.

The world is evolving all the time, as we keep moving forward into new years, more technology are being built and other sophisticated things are also developed too, therefore in 10-20 years from now, there could be more opportunity in crypto and blockchain and if I have kids by then who develops interest into taking their career in crypto and blockchain market, I will gladly support them in any way I can.

 I don't have to pick any option for them but when that time comes, they can know the profession that fits them better and it will be based on their capabilities.

I don't believe that AI can take over all the job in this space.

The crypto market is an area that is technologically advanced, innovative and attractive to the younger generations. If I hope that your children will be active in the crypto market, it depends on their potential to develop their interest in technology and finance. However, for this participation to be healthy, education, discipline and the right guidance are necessary. Otherwise, the risks of the market may discourage them. The current young generation, namely children, are already curious and there are many active users entering the new market.

Children will want to try out whatever finances their parents, that's if reachable. CEOs who take their kids to work, is grooming them to become executives in the future. If I notice IT savviness in a child, I'd encourage him towards being a Blockchain engineer in future. The industrial milk of that field will be over floating as of the time they'll turn adults. It's actually a very nice investment.

Blockchain and web3 jobs aren't limited to programming but the opening jobs are many with it.

Yes, I'll be there as the guidance if ever the pursuance is there.

What profession in this market do you think your children would be suited for?

Anything that they will like to do. But I'll tell them to make sure that they like what they're about to do so that they won't feel that it's work, so they can enjoy while working.

Possible but not all. Next jobs might be AI prompters which will be done by humans.
