If he is still doing the same, I am not sure he can survive with the loan. He may difficult to repay the money and his loan can become bigger. He really needs to stop his gambling habit and save his income so he can use it to fill his daily needs. Gambling is not to be taken seriously but it is only for fun. Exactly. It was such an experience that made me decide to quit massive gambling altogether. It's true what you said because that's what I feel myself, I had a gambling addiction and it can be said that it was quite severe because my finances were in the middle of nowhere, with the incident that made me lose a lot of money in one gambling that made me realize to improve myself because of my excessive behavior in gambling, this is a valuable experience for myself. If might not have witnessed it or read about it but obviously there are people who must have had a terrible case of gambling losses, have you not read a story that was told on this forum about a man that got arrested because he used the money that was meant for his office committee to gamble and he lost it. I have also said it before that someone (an engineer at a site) used the money he was given to for gambling. Actually the money was for a job but he was greedy and wanted to double the money but he lost it and ran away.

If you have not experienced a bad lose, it means you are only and always gambling with the amount you can afford to lose, no big risk.
