I must say, only 100 lol, this is nothing and if top 20 get paid, this is whooping 20% ITM (into the money) rate, which is amazing (any regular poker player will understand that). I was not able to participate as I have not reached 10k wager yet. This tournament (poker) is alone worth it to have that wager but if you can do this within this slot leaderboard contest timeframe, it is super profitable  as you will be getting leaderboard prizes as well.

I understand your point and agree with it. But as always, people barely care about the advice they see online. Everyone thinks they are pro-gamblers. Gambling has no newbies; everyone thinks they can win, so they make deposits and play. As for the wagering contest, people will learn about it eventually. I usually ask people not to chase someone if they cannot afford to lose their deposit.

In reality, everyone aims for the prize pool and barely thinks about the potential loss. I made two deposits and tried to wager as much as I could. But look, I wagered over 2.2K, but ended up losing both of my deposits. I accept this. I knew something like this could happen.

I totally agree with what you're saying dude, everything should be considered as you mentioned. It's just that being included in the leaderboard ranking even in the lowest ranking is very difficult to be included in that lowest ranking.

But I did not expect them to show up this early and kick us off the leaderboard. I would watch for now and see how far they can go before I start wagering again.

And the user appears in the leaderboard again when the user changes it back. This type of setting is really concerning for the leaderboard contest. How would it be if someone do the wager by hiding himself from the leaderboard, then change the settings to appear on the leaderboard at the last moment? It would be unfair if we don't know the wagering amount of all other participants.

This is a very important thing to point out but Yeet cannot win here, but the option description is very clear. In the interests of transparency, on the leaderboard, it is absolutely fair to expect every position to have a username against it. While these could be faked and are unprovable to an average user - if we take them on face value we have an idea of the user who took a winning position. If you wish to be anonymous then you take this sacrifice in terms of staying off the leaderboard, it's not fair on all other users to have (anonymous) taking up a bunch of slots on the top players list and looks less believable. If you really want to be anonymous then you should be signing up with an obscure and random username to achieve the same effect. It feels like this is the correct approach by Yeet.
