This is not a good strategy to incentive users reach the high level rank just to be able to join tournament poker event. When the minimum wager required was 10K, anybody got motivated to deposit more for to lucks one is to win one of the bets, the second is to increase the minimum wager to reach VIP level and benefit from exclusive features like the poker tournament event. Now users will find it quite hard to reach 50K wager and probably they will forget about the whole thing and may even leave the casino.

For sure people will start to forget it if their main reason playing in Yeet is merely for the poker tournament especially if they started to be interested before the minimum wager is increased.
Even with $50k wager requirement, $5k poker freeroll every 2 weeks is still a great offer especially for those who like to play poker game.
Basically it is not that hard to wager $50k even for small bankroll players, as long as they wish they can do it by betting small amount only to minimize bigger loss but it should be done frequently.

I like to imagine myself one of those users who like to play poker and as well take advantage from his bankroll to give him another chance to join the poker tournament. With a small bankroll to minimize loss, how many times i have to use Yeet and how much i have to spend in total. Yes i have to ask those questions because i already have other trusted casinos lunch their weekly poker events without hard requirements even though the price are not that big compared to $5K in Yeet. So, I would say that $50K is a big amount, yet they decided to make it like that. Probably because they do not want too many participants, or want to make it too hard, so it feels like a rare item. Just my two sats.

When wagering with low value, sometimes just one lucky shot can make the difference between down $100 and up $100...

Ofc certain strategies may be more effective to reach high wager with lower risk, but in the end lucky also counts

if they are good at poker, they could easily win back more than they lost to wager $50k (that if yeet doesn't change the requirement again).

I believe that this wagering requirement has deterred many users. However, for those who already have a gold rank, this is definitely a good thing, as there should be less competition in these tournaments and, accordingly, it will be easier to win prizes. So yes, I agree that it will probably be easy to recoup the losses incurred in achieving gold rank by participating in these tournaments.

There are several reasons for increasing the limit like that. Yeet.com has grown so fast and there are a huge number of users who wagered $10k+. As a result, the number of participants in the bi-weekly poker tournament has increased significantly. Which will make the tournament very long. This is the primary reason for changing the requirement unexpectedly. They have already enough users with $50k+ wagered. As a result, the number of participants is still good with this requirement.

Well, it depends upon the bet one is willing to put for completing the challenge. If the bet at stake is above $600 (for doing 50k wager from $100) it is a no brainer but anything less than that, kind of meh. It is a nice innovative idea though and I can see with little more brainstorming something very interesting can be achieved.
It is still the back door variation to the leader board challenge but little more individualistic.

Let make it clear, first is it an individual challenge for me or you are thinking about a contest?
Anyway, it sounds good but I think it will be nice to have a challenge like "wager as much as you can with $100", the winners will be those with highest wager amount obviously. This way, all participants are basically having the same chance, or in other words is that it will be like a contest of strategy to wager. If the idea is as what you said, where we can freely start again after busted with the first $100, then it will be likely just a challenge that will be dominated by those who have bigger bankroll and judging from what was happening in the YEET's bitcointalk leaderboard contests, it wont work lol. However, if you try to challenge me, I'll be interested but of course it depends on the prize you try to offer

It will be very tough to do that. I have the experience of wagering $25k+ by starting with $20. I had done it a few years ago with the intention of wagering. I was trying to make $5 profit by playing the games manually, then I was spending that $5 on wagering strategy. It took a long time to do the wager in dice game. My target was to reach a new VIP rank during then. Luckily I managed to do that and ended with $150+ balance. I have never gotten success with this strategy after that.

In the Yeet contest, I tried to use the same strategy with higher bankroll. But I always lost my whole balance while I was trying to make a small profit to spend the amount on wagering method.

Sounds good if this will be an extra task when the tournament went back again. This is tough challenge but a good ad-ons for the tournament rewards as other milestone to achieve.

But completing this challenge solely will be less interesting for me unless the rewards will be huge. As in huge to cover some of the losses since this challenge will usually require multiple attempts to complete.

Yeet announced before when the Bitcointalk contest was concluded that they will release the sportsbook in soon. They are planning more big promotions on the release date hopefully on the 1st week of October so that the contest will resume earlier.
